04/07/2025: We ordered take-out on the advice of friends... sublime experience. I have never tasted tuna like this, excellent quality. It is not all you can eat but it does not matter, the material offered is worth much more than the price. I will definitely return with company. Thanks for the excellent dinner!

28/06/2025: Excellent Japanese restaurant in Como. We had a very pleasant experience, so much so that we returned the next night for another try. The waiter, Massun, is super attentive and kind. We will definitely be back.

27/05/2025: Incastonato sulla suggestiva costa della Penisola Sorrentina, Coku è molto più di un semplice ristorante: è un’esperienza sensoriale a tutto tondo. A picco sul mare, con una veduta che lascia senza fiato — soprattutto al tramonto, quando il sole si tuffa lentamente nel blu del Tirreno — questo locale fonde con maestria la freschezza del Mediterraneo con l’equilibrio raffinato della cucina giapponese. Il concept si potrebbe definire “Mediterasian”, e non è solo una trovata di marketing: ogni piatto racconta un equilibrio preciso tra due mondi gastronomici apparentemente lontani, ma che qui dialogano in maniera sorprendentemente naturale. Il crudo di mare, freschissimo, si arricchisce di sfumature orientali grazie all’uso sapiente di spezie leggere e marinature a base di agrumi, mentre il tonno scottato si accompagna a note agrumate e delicate emulsioni che valorizzano la materia prima senza mai coprirla. I sapori non sono mai forzati, e ogni portata è curata anche dal punto di vista visivo, in un gioco di colori e forme che richiama la precisione della tradizione giapponese. La carta dei vini e dei sakè è ampia e ben pensata, e il servizio è attento, cordiale e mai invadente. Coku non è solo un ristorante, ma un luogo dove il mare, la luce e il gusto si fondono in un’esperienza memorabile. Ideale per una cena romantica o per chi cerca un momento speciale da ricordare. 05/08/2025: Five of us went for dinner, including a child, and were truly impressed by the quality and flavor of the food. I chose a raw fish appetizer and spaghetti with clams: both were simply fantastic, fresh, and flavorful. My wife ordered grilled fish, and the octopus was truly divine! Our friends were also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes: everything was prepared with attention to detail, using excellent ingredients. Special praise goes to the wait staff: everyone was courteous and helpful, but especially the waitress, who served us with a genuine smile and rare kindness. A very pleasant experience, which we highly recommend to everyone!

17/06/2025: Definitely the best sushi place in Modica. The service is fast, but the quality of the food does not drop despite this. I highly recommend it.

04/08/2025: Absolutely not recommended: I should have trusted the negative reviews. I don't know how you're used to it in Trento, but in Bologna, an all-you-can-eat restaurant like this would fail in a week. Given that all the classic Asian dishes are missing (soy noodles, chicken, and beef cooked in various ways) and many Japanese dishes are peculiar and fake gourmet (no ebiten with the classic shrimp, no classic tiger roll), almost ALL the lunch dishes are overcharged by more than €1, and I mean all of them, even the most classic ones. An hour's wait for terrible dishes, terrible quality of the salmon, without even a sauce, just a tasteless mess (because sauces are expensive and you have to buy them separately!), poorly presented and plated, and all mushy together. We struggled to eat the little that did arrive. We woke up with many dishes yet to arrive, nauseated, empty, and with a very high bill of €48 for two (just one water). Never again!

04/07/2025: The quality of the fish has definitely deteriorated, and in addition they are overdoing it with rice in the rolls and temaki. In a way, perhaps it is even a relief, considering that the salmon — in all likelihood — comes from farms. It is still a real shame: this was a restaurant that I once loved deeply. I was happy to spend, but I always left satisfied, aware of having eaten well. This time I ordered take-out from Milan, trusting in the good memories linked to the quality that distinguished it, but the experience turned out to be disappointing.

20/06/2025: The worst ayce sushi of my life. Everything cooked and assembled roughly, too much rice, everything too salty, rolls too big that do not allow optimal consumption. Inefficient, poor service. Air conditioning that leaks water with a large puddle between the tables. Very limited menu and tartar and sashimi in super mini portions. No rice noodles

22/04/2025: We went here for dinner and really enjoyed the sushi. The environment is welcoming and the cleanliness of the place is very careful. The only small mix-up: by mistake we ordered an extra beer. Unfortunately, the waiter did not proceed to change our bill, but simply told us that, as it had already been opened, we should have drunk it. A different approach to resolving the situation would have been appreciated. Despite this, the rest of the experience was positive.

28/07/2025: Locale pulito e colorato con personale gentile. Ottimo antipasto misto e saporita la carne con riso. Prezzi contenuti. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

15/07/2025: Con mio marito siamo andati a cena in questo ristorante. Locale molto carino e accogliente personale cordiale e competente, cibo molto buono e particolare. Provate il loro piatto nazionale o il loro pesce alla griglia veramente un ottimo gusto. Buoni anche i succhi di loro produzione di Baobab o il Karkade.Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato.

01/06/2025: I have been going there for years now; I think it is the best in terms of quality and kindness of the staff. The price is also normal. The never noisy and well attended environment leads me to come almost every week.

03/03/2025: Sushi far above average, as true lovers of the genre, the fact that there is no classic "all you can eat" is indicative. Satisfying portions. Alongside the traditional dishes of Japanese cuisine, there is also some imaginative rolls. The Chinese cuisine menu is also good. The only flaw is the environment, which needs to be reviewed in terms of hospitality and quality (it happened to have lunch in winter with the heating broken). Excellent take away service.

28/04/2025: This is not an all you can eat, but finally a restaurant with excellent Japanese-style dishes, quality fish, original combinations, excellent service, proper wines and cocktails. For those who really want to experience the difference, for those who can't stand the usual low quality Sushi restaurants, this place is worth the effort and the expense. The quality may not be cheap, but the difference with the rest is abysmal. I recommend it and will return as soon as possible. Generous portions, I ordered many things, I left super full and satisfied. See you soon
