31/08/2025: Our first family experience at this restaurant was positive. The atmosphere was welcoming and clean, and the lunchtime dishes were well-received and well-digested by everyone. The dishes were hot, well-served, and delicious. What can I say...we'll be back on our next vacation in the Marche region.

06/03/2026: It's been under the old management for some time now, and it's a real shame, because before, the quality and wide selection of products were much richer and tastier. Today, I can say that eating here is synonymous with satisfaction. It's a real shame I had to downgrade my 5-star review to 3.

15/02/2026: Sorry, we'd read good reviews... Nice place, fairly large, but we still found ourselves eating at a tiny table practically huddled with strangers, almost as if we were sitting at the same table (and indeed, there was a bit of a mix-up with the orders). Speaking of service, they forgot some dishes, brought us things we hadn't ordered, and generally showed little attention. The rice portions were a bit too generous (so you could fill up faster and pay for the rest!). Some "hot" dishes arrived cold, and the supposedly "cold" raw fish dishes (especially nigiri) arrived practically lukewarm/hot and sometimes bitter. The fried foods and wakame seaweed were good. The menu had very little choice, and some dishes seen in photos here on Maps weren't available. One last thing: the cars parked right in front of the entrance, pressed against the windows facing outside, blinded half the restaurant as soon as they turned on their headlights. I don't recommend it, sorry.

16/03/2026: We had a very pleasant experience at Ristorante Shang Hai. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with an authentic interior design that makes the place feel cozy and welcoming. The service was impressively fast, and the whole experience felt very well organized. One thing we really liked was the menu system — it’s presented on tablets, which is both convenient and modern. It makes browsing the dishes and ordering very easy. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming, which adds a nice personal touch to the visit. As for the food, the sushi was fresh and very tasty, and the fish quality was excellent. The selection is also quite wide, so there’s plenty to choose from. Overall, a great place to enjoy sushi. Definitely recommended! 🍣

11/01/2026: Sushi in Castellanza! The parking lot was tiny and packed. We went for dinner. We arrived and there were tons of people inside and outside waiting for a table. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait about 20 minutes, which I don't think is fair since we had a reservation. The place is very nice, large, and even has an outdoor patio. The food was all delicious; I didn't find anything I didn't like, even some dishes you don't normally find, like the fried gnocchi or the skewered pancetta. The service was terrible; the dishes started arriving after 40 minutes of us being seated. We had to ask the waiters several times because they weren't brought. A friend of mine asked for chopsticks, and they never arrived. Some dishes never arrived. At one point, they told us the kitchen was closed and they wouldn't be bringing out any more dishes, even though we'd already said we were missing some. The waitress was really rude and gave us a nasty look. In the end, they made us the dish we wanted, but not with a few requests. I'd go back for the food, but not for the service.

14/01/2026: Two hours of practically nothing to eat. They were obviously struggling with the restaurant and takeout orders, but if you don't have staff available, avoid ordering online! Basically, we received an appetizer and a first course, and the other dishes disappeared who knows where without any explanation. At a certain point, we got bored of sitting at the table! We even found an uneaten dish on the bill!

01/11/2025: Disappointing, certainly not an "All You Can Eat Superior" as they claim. I went for lunch at opening time, without a reservation, and as soon as I sat down, I was told I'd have to vacate the table at 1:30 PM. I could understand that, but the problem is that we waited over 30 minutes for only two sushi courses... With this organization and rush, the "all you can eat" experience loses its meaning completely... that is, you eat in a rush, feeling like you have to order everything at once for fear of not making it in time. The food is average, nothing special, and certainly not up to the standard of a "Superior" as advertised on their website. A true all you can eat superior offers a completely different kind of service, attention, and quality. The only positive note is the location, which is really nice and well-kept. I should add that some dishes are reserved only for the dinner menu, which makes a bit of sense for those who choose lunch (but whatever, that's their rules). Also, I ordered grilled gyoza and instead they served shrimp ones. They were still good, but it's still a mistake. Overall, it really gives the impression of a crafty restaurant, more concerned with maximizing profits than ensuring a truly quality experience or customer well-being. It's a shame, because the potential is there. But never again.

15/08/2025: 🍜 I had a very positive experience at this place in the Viale Certosa area. The staff was very helpful and kind. I tried the ramen and the beef, and both were excellent. You can taste the high-quality ingredients, from the perfectly cooked noodles to the flavorful broth. It's important to note that this isn't your typical all-you-can-eat restaurant. Here, you pay a fair price for significantly superior quality, and the difference is truly noticeable. Finally, I really liked the wish tree, a nice touch where each customer receives a card to write their wish on. Highly recommended!

26/07/2025: Nice and clean location, very kind and friendly staff. They brought us a delicious amuse bouche of fermented turnip and dragon fruit. Then, duck gyoza with sublime vegetables, good kimchi. I had the curry don, flavorful and identical to the one I'd eaten in Japan. My sister had the stir-fried ramen with Asian ragù. I tried them, they were divine, with that smoky flavor that only a wok can impart. The marinated beef appetizer was excellent, just the right amount of spice. And to finish, the staff brought us a light, flavorful plum wine and auspicious orange slices, as is customary in the East. Really good 🌹

30/01/2026: It's the only sushi restaurant I enjoy going to, being vegetarian. They offer several vegetarian-friendly options, but I always end up ordering the Shibuya Veggie, which is phenomenal! Even fish lovers have been thrilled, especially the salmon, which I've tried a few times myself. The setting is refined and elegant, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff is always courteous, helpful, and professional. The prices are a little higher than average, but perfectly justified by the quality of the food and service. :-))
