10/09/2025: We were looking forward to dining here because we were craving Asian food on our holiday in Italy and the ratings were really good. Unfortunately the ratings were deceiving and this was one of the most disappointing and non authentic Japanese meals I’ve had in a long time. The rolls were tiny and overpriced at around 10 euros each. You can get a whole large pizza for the same price. We ordered 3 rolls and left hungry and unsatisfied.

08/09/2025: Poor quality food, supermarket sushi is better. The three of us spent €203.50, and only because we stopped because of the disgust that kept growing with each dish. Rude and annoyed staff. A terrible experience. If you want sushi, go to Como, where the all-you-can-eat option is definitely better. The only positive thing is that there's no line, as no one from the area even walks past us.

03/10/2025: We had such a wonderful experience here! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What really made the visit extra special was the staff: they were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. We’ll definitely be coming back next tome and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality!

14/10/2025: Very nice, even the streetside stand feels particularly private. I'm sorry to give it only 4 stars, but I have to because the desserts, while good, weren't worth the price. The matcha, however, deserves 5 stars; the mango one is excellent.

13/10/2025: I just had the vegan ice 🍨 they serve, where the exciting detail is that the last time I had one was in Kyoto and in Tokyo. It's hard to compare as the way they make ice in Japan is much softer and better. And so are the topping and serving:)

30/08/2025: I waited to write this review. But for the fifth time, the food hasn't arrived within the time slot I selected when ordering. Furthermore, twice, the food arrived completely disorganized inside the packaging. I shop at i-sushi because the food is good, and since it costs more than many other restaurants, I would expect more punctuality. Also, my advice: if a drink is no longer available because you removed it, at least remove it from the website. I'm sorry, but I will never eat takeout or at this restaurant again.

16/08/2025: Excellent sushi with a wide variety of dishes. Fast, courteous, and professional service. The atmosphere inside is romantic, and they've installed a powerful fan on the outdoor terrace, making it wonderfully cool despite the high temperatures, even in the evenings. Highly recommended.

24/09/2025: Really not great! Noisy, terrible food and we had to wait 1h40 for two pieces of piccata alla Milanese without a side dish. The sushi is a little better but there are also better sushi restaurants in the area... only the octopus with potatoes was really good.

21/09/2025: The food was cold, greasy, tasteless, and really not good. The atmosphere was okay, and the staff was also quick and friendly. Sorry, but for the food, I wouldn't recommend it.

23/08/2025: Today was our first time here since the renovations. We booked the day before, so we started around 12:00, so we didn't have to wait for a table. Very nice atmosphere, helpful and attentive staff, and smart ordering via tablet. The food is good, although I have some concerns about some dishes. For example, I ordered soy noodles with shrimp. The noodles were plentiful and good, which is a plus, but I only had exactly two small shrimp. Or my son ordered rice with chicken in teriyaki sauce (if I remember correctly), but there were 5-6 small pieces of chicken, and not very large ones. The size was fine, but the rice was plentiful—a lot, too much for the little meat and seasoning. Also, but this is my problem, I prefer bamboo chopsticks. The metal ones are nice and reusable, but they slip in your hands, and it's hard to pick up some foods because they also slide off.

08/10/2025: We were fooled by the positive reviews. The place is very cute and quaint, but unfortunately, that's where the good things end. We ordered two takeout bento boxes: one with fried shrimp, the other with fried chicken, and a portion of takoyaki. The food was awful; the fried food was so greasy it made us feel sick all night. All this for a total of €45, without drinks. Definitely avoid.

06/09/2025: Very friendly staff, and the quality of the rolls/nigiri is undeniable. Zoro's onigiri with salmon and yuzu are always excellent. The udon noodles are definitely worth trying.

20/09/2025: A very intimate, family-friendly place. We were greeted with kindness and a warm smile, which never hurts. We ate very well. I'm not a great expert on Japanese food, but I really enjoyed what I ate. Tony and his wife are very calm, unobtrusive, yet attentive people. Thank you, it was a wonderful experience, we'll be back. 31/08/2025: We had dinner at this Japanese restaurant. The experience was overall pleasant: the place is charming, well-maintained, and the service was truly excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. Regarding the food, the quality is good, I'd say average, but what's a bit puzzling are the portions: they're decidedly too small for the price of the individual dishes. Considering the final bill, the quality-price ratio isn't very good. This restaurant has potential and is worth a visit for its atmosphere and professional staff, but in our opinion, it should reconsider the portion sizes for the price, as they currently don't do justice to the gastronomic experience it could offer.

Located in a quiet neighborhood, this gem serves proper sushi, with the right dishes and cutlery. Waiter did his best to accommodate me in English. Feeling zen and satisfied after visiting this place!

The wine list is curated by a young sommelier who has little to envy from the staff at a Michelin-starred restaurant. 11/09/2025: A virtually unique offering in Lecce and the surrounding area, in a spacious and tasteful location. The raw fish huramaki are excellent, the cooked fish one, unexpectedly, even better. The glazed duck (a slice, really, just right for one, impossible to share) is formidable. The tuna sashimi is fresh and tasty. The spaghetti and noodles are excellent, the vegetable ones are excellent, and the chicken ones are also quite good. It's a wise choice to include Susumaniello on the wine list, produced by several wineries and in a diverse range. The wait staff was extremely courteous and helpful, which more than made up for the hour-long wait between appetizers and first and second courses, for a reason we weren't entirely convinced by, and which wasn't taken into account at the register. The prices were considered fair. Definitely worth a try.
