05/04/2025: Crostini not very tasty, unsuitable bread, decent cold cuts except for the salty and probably foreign ham, good piadina, tortelli I was hoping for better, the filling not very tasty and a little overcooked, the amaretto and mascarpone cake is good, friendly but distracted staff. Price and quality do not go hand in hand.

15/04/2025: Cuando decidimos visitar Italia, también nos comprometimos a probar una serie de restaurantes con estrellas Michelin (disfrutamos, y tenemos suerte, de tener una serie de lugares excelentes aquí en Chicago). Hicimos reservas para seis (! ) restaurantes con estrellas, dos cada uno en Nápoles, Florencia y Roma. Il Pagliaccio es un restaurante de dos estrellas, con un íntimo 10 mesas (y un restaurante privado). Ofrecen dos menús degustación para la cena, con 5 u 11 (en nuestro caso, con el menú otoño/invierno) opciones de platos. Sin menú a la carta. Como siempre, seleccionamos el menú degustación más grande, y el maridaje de vinos estándar. El comedor tiene mesas de madera desnudas con focos en la parte superior, un suelo de baldosa de tablero de ajedrez y asientos para banquetas y sillas. El comedor se divide en dos secciones, un gran arco que forma la línea divisoria. La cena comenzó de una manera caprichosa: 4 uno - morder artículos presentados entre dos ramas pintadas de oro. Sus habilidades de servicio fueron puestas a prueba durante este curso. Uno de los bocados fue un "plato" de galletas muy delgado lleno de remolacha picada - mi esposa lo recogió de los lados y se rompió justo en el medio, derramando el contenido sobre la mesa. Los servidores limpiaron rápidamente el accidente, y antes de que hubiéramos terminado el curso, sacaron un artículo fresco (que se recogió con mucho cuidado y se comió sin incidentes). Un curso de ostras con manzana y mozzarella fue acompañado por un inesperado lado de "candy floss" (algodón de azúcar). El pez monje con kiwi, alcaparras y anchoa fue el plato destacado. Disfrutamos de los maridajes de vinos, donde de nuevo algunos vinos se sirven a través de dos platos. Nuestra experiencia duró un poco más de 3 horas. Quizás nos quemaron un poco los restaurantes de alta cocina, siendo esta nuestra sexta visita, pero no sentimos que la noche cumpliera con nuestras expectativas.

26/03/2025: Amazing! We chose the 10 course Circus Menu with wine pairing and were wowed from start to finish. The service was top-notch; and all of the dishes were sublime. The progression of dishes flowed naturally; and the balance of flavors from multiple influences was impressive. Wish I could eat here every week!

05/01/2025: Ambiente semplice e famigliare sembra di essere a cena da un amico, personale accogliente e gentile, Il menu lo definirei poche ma buone, se vi aspettate la solita pizzeria con menù abbondante e pizze di basso livello non andate, se invece volete mangiare un ottima pizza ben lievitata con condimenti di qualità è sicuramente il posto giusto.

05/04/2025: Devo dire che mi aspettavo molto di più. Centrifugato buono ma niente di che (servito in un bicchiere di plastica), idem la torta mela e cannella. Tra l'altro abbiamo aspettato un bel po' prima di essere serviti. Buono se si vuole fare una pausa diversa dal solito, ma preferisco altro.

04/04/2025: 11:30 - 12:15 Today we had an unpleasant experience because after sitting down, we waited a good 30 minutes for someone to come and take our order, even though we tried to get someone's attention several times. After taking our order, we waited another 15 minutes and had to leave because they hadn't even started preparing it (an ice tea, a soft drink, olives and crudités, not even lunch). We weren't taken into consideration in the least while we waited, we didn't even get olives or crudités to munch on in the meantime, nothing. Only one girl from the staff who was cleaning the table next to us apologized for the wait, the rest was 0. Only then were we offered a smoothie to take away. Of course, after of course. I've been to this place several times and I'm not criticizing the food (good), but the service. It's not fair to serve customers who sat at the table after us first. As if we had ordered a lunch with more courses. Total wait: 45 minutes.

31/03/2025: Beautiful gem in Biella. The atmosphere in the room is wonderful, lots of space between the tables, perfect lighting and acoustics! Impeccable dishes and service. Specialized in fish, modern dishes, but above all tasty. There is good research, and not the usual banality. First time yesterday, certainly not the last. Tasting menu is the best way to discover their concept. Excellent discovery!

10/04/2025: Everything was excellent, in particular the story-telling ability of the manager/chef/maitre'd/sommelier who enchanted us by telling my friends and me the story of how his very particular restaurant no arrived in his life. The menu also mixes 0 km local products and products from other distant but absolutely genuine territories. Highly recommended.

19/04/2025: Posto molto accogliente, nella parte esterna hai uno scorcio sul golfo che ti fa gustare il tuo aperitivo con delle vibes assurde, per non parlare del personale gentile e disponibile, io ho avuto il piacere di conoscere Francesco ragazzo molto preparato che mi ha saputo consigliare il drink giusto in questa località meravigliosa, consiglio assolutamente di passare per passare una bella serata
