27/12/2025: Extremely delicate and excellent quality dishes... the place, narrow streets of the historic center, can be reached by taking a walk and it is worth it

09/11/2025: Nice place, good service, and very good food. A few issues with the dinner lowered my rating: halfway through the meal, I was told they were out of mussels. My €15 mussel platter had a lot of empty shells and about eight mussels. When I pointed this out, I was told, "That seems strange." No apology, no discount, nothing. They described the dessert of the day as off-menu, so we ordered it, and then they told us right afterward that it was gone from lunch (a clear sign of poor communication between the kitchen and the dining room). I liked the place, and if they had handled it differently, I would have returned, but I fear that won't be the case. A bit high in value for money, but average.

02/01/2026: I went there for lunch a few days ago. As always, it's a guarantee. Excellent quality food, delicious, and reasonably priced. The waiter who served us was exquisite: kind, helpful, and very friendly. We felt truly welcomed! I highly recommend it!

07/12/2025: Located in the heart of Treviso, this restaurant offers original and flavorful cuisine. The dishes are carefully prepared and bursting with taste. The staff, both warm and highly professional, contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. A highly recommended address.

18/01/2026: The steak was very good. Never ask the waiters for recommendations because they'll push the most expensive items on the menu. In our case, they recommended a rather expensive ham and cheese platter as a starter.

10/01/2026: Horrible experience with delivery. I'll start by saying that I've been a delivery customer for several years (as well as a physical customer since they opened), they removed American Express as a payment method (and they don't list it on the website), the guy comes and tells me they don't accept Amex, I take the cash and he tells me he doesn't have change. They send me a payment link and a reminder message, I reply that I'll pay as soon as I can (I was at dinner with guests and didn't feel like interrupting to do this). Despite this, they called me 4 times during the evening to request payment (€70, not an astronomical amount). After making the payment, the guy doesn't understand that it was inappropriate to call 4 times and continues to send messages trying to justify their mistakes. I told him I won't order from Shinto again.

07/12/2025: Service was very bad. Waiters (two of them) kept forgetting orders - we had to keep asking for the same items. Food was late (so late that we couldn’t order dessert because the kitchen closed by the time we received our last plate - although the waiter gave us the dessert menu only to tell us that we can’t order after we made our choice…) The place smelled like fish. The food was not great - very overpriced for what it is. Absolutely do not recommend.

01/09/2025: Fantastic atmosphere, welcoming and super staff (kindness and friendliness are the hallmarks)!! Excellent food, Marcella prepares excellent dishes with quality products and with indescribable attention to detail... what can I say? Come and try it because it's worth it!!!

This is simply one of the best in the world! Stop whatever you're doing and try to get a table at Il Paggliacio (email them!). You're welcome btw

14/09/2025: My little daughter (3) urgently needed to go to the bathroom, so I politely asked the young waitress if I could briefly go with my daughter. She smiled at me and asked if I wanted a drink. I said no, just the restroom, please. She nodded, and we went. When we got there, there was a code lock with a note saying the code would be on the bill. I went back to the waitress and asked for a code, and she asked me again if I wanted a drink, grinning stupidly. That's not how you treat small children! In any case, you'll never see us as paying customers -> minus 5 stars.

03/09/2025: The food isn't great, the place is nice. Let's just say that if you want something quick, you can try it, or you can definitely find something better. Just cross the street and across the street is the much better Cadilac. I recommend crossing the street, trust me.
