05/04/2024: The sandwiches are excellent, top quality ingredients that fully satisfy both in size and goodness. Huge choice of beers, they don't have a list, but there is a blackboard where the beers they have on tap are written, of artisanal variety and from the area. Attentive service, and very competent staff both in service and in advising you what to drink. I would happily stay here again. A little expensive, but justified for what you eat and drink. (You pay for quality)

13/02/2024: Il miglior ristorante che abbiamo frequentato nel nostro soggiorno a Trieste. Locale non grande, ma molto grazioso e accogliente. Personale cortese e attento. Menù molto interessante con scelte non banali, ma neppure eccessivamente sofisticate. Difficile non trovare almeno un piatto che possa soddisfare i propri gusti. Molto attenta anche la presentazione dei piatti. I prezzi non sono modici, ma va considerato che la qualità è superiore alla media dei locali cittadini.

31/03/2024: An excellent tavern in the hills of Trieste. We booked for Easter dinner. Four of us spent 120 euros for a mixed seafood starter to share (excellent, tasty), a plate of drumsticks with courgettes and prawn tails, a ravioli stuffed with sea bass, a pie with asparagus (wild), a mixed grill of sea, two side dishes, three desserts (two chocolate panna cottas and a strudel-style apple pie, very good), half a liter of house prosecco, two bottles of natural water and three grappas (one of which with basil, not too good , but it's a matter of personal taste). The staff appears grumpy but is friendly. You can pay with the pos.

At 9.25pm ​​we left after being told, in a less than hospitable manner, to wait another ten minutes "because nothing happens if you wait a little longer anyway" I'm sorry sir, but if you work in shifts you have to make the time count even for those who go out, I had 140km to go home and I couldn't wait indefinitely for your disorganization.

02/11/2023: Questa gelateria è stata premiata più volte dal Gambero Rosso per cui le aspettative erano molto alte e sono state superate. La vicinanza a Piazza Unità d’Italia ne fa un posto tattico per una sosta golosa. Tra i gusti che ho provato segnalo in particolare fiordilatte e ricotta con croccante di mandorle agli agrumi e pesca e basilico, abbinamento molto fresco. Da provare anche la panna, preparata artigianalmente e conservata in un bidoncino apposito in frigorifero in modo da essere conservata alla temperatura ideale.
