The food was absolutely fantastic and hot... just freshly cooked. The 4 star instead of 5 was because they served nothing other than beer. We usually have wine with our dinner. It was too late to go anywhere else. It was clean and the servers were friendly.

The sandwiches are very good, but I'm writing this review primarily for the staff, because, having been there a few times over the course of several months, I've always found them kind and helpful. As someone in the industry and having lived in Trieste for over a decade, I can say these are qualities that are hard to find in this place. I come in for a sandwich and always leave feeling a little happier than when I went in. Thanks guys :)

Excellent beer bar with a wide selection, and the food is good and tasty.
The waitress is truly amazing, very friendly, quick, and very pleasant to talk to...she'll definitely give you great advice!!!!

So kind and nice, great service and overall attention to the client. I called to book a table after a performance, and the performance ended 30 mins later than planned. Not only did they hold the table for us, they called to make sure we were actually coming. Amazing!
Food-wise, delicious sandwiches and very good beer, with lots of choice and three different pint sizes.
I always come here when I'm in Trieste. Keep it up! :)

The food is delicious, it's worth going to Tireste just to eat here.
The beers are a bit unusual, and we weren't entirely satisfied.
They play power metal music, so they get extra points.

Their specialty is probably the burgers. I had the ribs, which were good but a small portion. Then we had the baked tortellini, and those weren't so great. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was cold. Cushions on the benches would be nice. The music was awful—hard rock or something. Way too intense for most people.
