17/05/2025: I enjoyed my visit at the hotel la Favorita! I read one of the reviews before I came that said it feels like home and I agree I felt as if I was visiting at a Italian home - authentic restaurant and the owners were welcoming, I don’t know if I’m mistaken or not but seems as if it’s a family business ! Loved it!

17/05/2025: Hotel with a retro atmosphere that allows you to go back to the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Large, with several buildings, surrounded by very well-kept vineyards, it offers a tennis court and swimming pool, well-kept gardens and outdoor tables. Ample parking. Friendly staff, good food.

14/05/2025: Pleasant stay. Comfortable hotel located in a quiet area surrounded by vineyards. Buffet breakfast and excellent cuisine. Friendly and helpful staff.

17/05/2025: Bellissima location, proposta culinaria moderna, i piatti assaggiati sicuramente soddisfacenti, personale molto disponibile, carta dei vini di livello.

12/05/2025: Greetings, we arrived (2 persons) after hiking on Carso and were rejected with the excuse of being fully booked. After two minutes two elderly guests arrived (without previsouly booking the table) and got the table immediatly. Looks like sport outfit is not desirable in Silene. Update: Thank you for your response. I still have two questions: 1. Why did your waitress needed to check if you already knew that all the tables were already booked? 2. How come that when we told the two elderly persons that the restaurant is full they responded us "we will try" ? Best regards.

09/02/2025: Not good ice cream, too much sugar, it seems industrial... The owner is a dishonest person: she charges 50 cents more to the bill without any warning and doesn't give the receipt. Something shameful and I would say illegal. I highly recommend this place!

15/06/2025: I stayed 5 nights from 9th to 13th June. I had a great time. The hotel is a bit dated but it offers the best. Clean rooms, excellent food, helpful, courteous and young staff.

15/06/2025: Terrible!!! Basic breakfast. I only ate the eggs because the croissants were not worth it... then I took a banana, very ripe and I was taking it out, I had started to eat it... they started screaming and also lacking in education with the room full! I strongly advise against it

13/06/2025: Excellent pizza, very kind staff, dough with three flours leavened for 48 hours remains crunchy until the last piece, I recommend it to everyone 😍

07/06/2025: We really enjoyed the pizza, which is a compliment since we are big fans of the Neapolitan style! The prices were average for the area, which was a plus. Our pizzas arrived very quickly, probably due to our arrival around 9 pm. We appreciated the kindness of the owner and his explanation about the absence of the "scrocchiarella". We can't wait to come back to try it next time!

17/06/2025: Unbelievable, you're assigned a table, then ignored for 25 minutes, and people who arrive later are already eating by the time we're allowed to order drinks.

19/05/2025: Prodotti nella media. Oggi ho preso una crema di caffè. A mio avviso non era ancora pronta. Era liquida nonostante sulla foto fosse più densa e con il ricciolo. Mi è stato risposto che loro la fanno così e che la foto è al solo scopo dimostrativo, dimostrativo appunto. Atteggiamento poco consono. Personale a mio avviso da formare meglio soprattutto nella comunicazione verbale con il cliente. La difficoltà dei proprietari di attività di ristoro nel trovare personale formato si riscontra sempre più di frequente. Gradisca d'Isonzo.

19/05/2025: Average products. Today I had a coffee cream. In my opinion it wasn't ready yet. It was liquid even though it was thicker and with a curl in the photo. I was told that they make it like this and that the photo is for demonstration purposes only, demonstrative in fact. Inappropriate attitude. In my opinion, the staff should be better trained, especially in verbal communication with the customer. The difficulty of restaurant owners in finding trained staff is increasingly common.
