25/12/2025: A restaurant in the city center with cuisine inspired by Neapolitan tradition. The chef, originally from Campania, serves generous and truly delicious dishes. Good service, helpful staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. A must try!

15/12/2025: The restaurant is well-run by Manola (who, incidentally, has the same birthday as me, October 19th). She is kind and very helpful. The kitchen recently underwent a change, appointing a Neapolitan chef and completely revamping the menu. We ate very well; the restaurant is quiet and very welcoming. The service was excellent, and the dishes featured a variety of Neapolitan and non-Neapolitan influences, all excellent! The bill was fair and not excessive. I don't understand the criticism compared to the past; it's normal for a restaurant to change management and its intended direction; the service and dishes were all excellent, I highly recommend it.

26/10/2025: We stumbled upon OSTERIA DAI GIMUI by chance last night with a last-minute reservation. Well...the dishes were a delight for the palate and a feast for the eyes. My compliments to Chef Eros, who clearly puts so much love and passion into what he does. Kudos also to the beautiful and sweet Ludovica, who served us with professionalism and such grace. We'll definitely be back.

09/10/2025: I stayed two nights half-board with my family. The rooms were very clean and warm, the food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend stopping for a coffee, too.

28/09/2025: Superb aperitif! Delicious, fruity wines at incredibly low prices. The fricco with speck was delicious (even if it was full of cheese 😄). Very friendly staff, a truly pleasant experience!

28/11/2025: Girls always smiling and kind, you can find sweet and savory breakfast at the aperitif quite good prices outside with gazebo and tables to enjoy a few hours in the sun or in the cool.

23/11/2025: Here you can eat really good pizza for a very reasonable price. It's more like a pub/bar, but it turns out that the price-performance ratio is really excellent. We were there on a Saturday evening, and considering they "only" served pizza 🍕, it was quite full. It's located a little off the main road on a very quiet side street. I recommend it to anyone who wants simple but good pizza and isn't too concerned about the atmosphere. By the way, there were five of us, each of us had a pizza plus drinks, and we paid €80 for everything, including a €1.50 Coke. (1 liter of house wine €5, 0.25 can of Coke €2.50) I haven't eaten so cheaply for such good quality in a long time.

10/03/2026: This restaurant, with a wood-fired oven and outdoor grills in the summer, has one of those summer terraces under the stars that's worth three times the price of a table. From the university hill, the view is remarkable, the kind that makes you crane your neck over your dinner to admire it. It's been run by the same family all their lives. It's always been a benchmark for the quality and deliciousness of its pizzas: dough with just the right fermentation, a wood-fired oven that does its job, and honest cuisine based on experience, consistency, and zero unnecessary complications. For those unfamiliar with the pizza menu: the Manuel pizza, with shredded meat, abundant arugula, and shaved parmesan, is unique, fragrant, and surprisingly light. On the other end of the spectrum is the Zola e Pancetta: a burst of strong, crunchy, and memorable flavors. It's not shy, but not arrogant, either, despite being memorable. The first courses deserve attention. There's often excellent fresh homemade pasta, and after a couple of forkfuls, you immediately realize that Grandma is still busy in the kitchen. Then, for the meat, between the griddle and the grill, Mr. Toni steps in. And there, you're on the safe side. A guarantee.

09/02/2026: We found this charming and very well-maintained place almost by chance, especially at the last minute. We were immediately welcomed like family, even though we arrived just as the kitchen was closing. The food was really good. We had a couple of starters and some exceptional pizzas.

26/01/2026: Our favorite café in Trieste. We always go there with our dog and there are no problems. They never burn the coffee and it's always delicious. Valeria is always very friendly, as are all the staff, and she always gives our dog a little biscuit.

21/01/2026: I had an excellent salad (arugula, lettuce, tuna, eggs, carrots, corn, mozzarella, tomato, olives) and a bottle of water at a truly unbeatable price! Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

10/02/2026: The pizzas are really delicious! There's a wide selection and unique variations. And the desserts are delicious too! The place is cute, with an outdoor area. The staff is always welcoming. Parking can be a bit tricky at times.

The manager Enrico is patient, and served not just brilliant wines but also took the time to teach us about their origins. If you are in search of amazing wines, I strongly recommend Il Vinotecario.

02/11/2025: A lovely little spot to enjoy a good glass (or bottle) in peace and quiet, with the support of the excellent Enrico. The selection of appetizers is also excellent to accompany (and serve as an aperitif, in my case).
