Everything Excellent and Abundant at a Low Price!!! Open only at midday and weekdays!!! From Councilor!!! The management offers other venues for the evening, the first being "Alla Frasca" in Azzano To be recommended to all friends to make a good impression!!!
12/07/2024: What a nice place! Large salad buffet, bread and the like. Big portions so for us one dish per person was more than enough. The children got tomato sauce instead of strong sauce, Well prepared food with nice, caring and friendly service. Very affordable for a good lunch!

25/08/2024: A mess. Table inside with insufficient air conditioning for the room, it was very hot. An hour for water and two for a pasta that is nothing short of shameful.
Too bad that's not all, the staff was exaggeratedly rude, after two hours a person at the table asks how much longer is left for the food, she is told: "15 of you came without booking, we have a full place", too bad that they could not even accept the table unless it was within their clear management possibilities. I pointed this out and he questioned the wait, which he said was "only an hour".

18/08/2024: I have often come to this place but like the last time never. Service is completely absent, things requested are forgotten, dishes arrive with absurd waiting times. It's a shame, the food is certainly good but we need to work a lot on the service in every sense. The other evening there was coffee, 2 evenings later we don't make coffee in the evening, this is the answer

The only flaw is that the stairs are not well lit.
The kind owner found us two seats despite having many reservations.
23/08/2024: Top sandwich shop! One of the few remaining top level in Trieste. Huge sandwiches, prices lower than average. The menu is also more varied than in the past. Fantastic cheese, super bread and wow chips. It's just a shame that they don't do takeaway due to lack of staff.

01/08/2024: My family and I decided to visit the museum in Maniago about the history of blacksmithing and knives and for lunch decided to try Antica Trattoria Tre Torri.
The servers were prompt and polite and they were helpful in trying to suggest food for my daughter aged nine.
My wife and I really enjoyed our dishes. I had the local carbonara which had a local meat in it instead of guanciale and was delicious. My wife had the pasta with San Daniele prosciutto in it. The cheese flan with the honey sauce was really a nice balance in contrast to our dishes.
If you happen to be in Maniago, drop into this quaint little place and enjoy a good lunch.

Small portions for the price. In the mixed hot and cold starter, small, white mussels. Not very polite staff given that, thinking we didn't understand Friulian, the owner took the time to tell us that she hoped never to see us again... we had high expectations but we were very disappointed. I gave the food a score of 2 because the barbecue was very good.

27/08/2024: Tour starts at 11, there are only 20 places, so reserve in advance. You will be driven to the cave with a small tractor. There are audio guides in Italian English and German. The cave is really beautiful and worth seeing. However, it is advisable not to have a problem with climbing stairs and to pack a jacket. In any case, we really liked it and the price was very reasonable!

I had the pleasure of dining at Frasca and I can confirm that it is a true paradise for meat lovers. The atmosphere is welcoming and rustic, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends. The staff is extremely courteous and professional, always ready to advise you on the best choice.
Meat is the strong point of this restaurant. I tasted the famous Prussian Manzetta and was enchanted by its tenderness and intense flavor. The mixed skewer is another specialty not to be missed: a symphony of flavors and textures that will win you over at the first bite.
The starters also deserve a special mention. Sweet and sour onions are an explosion of sweet and sour flavours, perfectly balanced. The artisan bread centerpiece is a touch of class that perfectly accompanies each course. Side dishes, like barbecued corn on the cob and grilled peppers, are simple but delicious, enhancing the flavor of the meat.
To finish on a high note, I chose a mandarin sorbet with a touch of Grappa Nonino ginger spray distillate. An original and refreshing combination that left the palate clean and satisfied.
The service is impeccable. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, such as the refrigerated band that keeps the bottle of wine at the ideal temperature. The staff is always available and attentive to your needs, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
