20/08/2023: First night arriving in Maniago, Italy was late and tiring so I just wanted to get a meal at a local restaurant within walking distance to where I’m staying. This restaurant was just 3 blocks away and was still open, so dinner here was the plan. There was one other table seated, which turned out to be the owner and his girlfriend. The decor was typical of a rustic Italian restaurant, which was a nice welcome from long flight. Service was wonderful and attentive. We were greeted instantly and warmly welcomed like we weren’t tourist visiting. Unfortunately the first couple of items we ordered were unavailable. Since it was late and I was very tired, I didn’t remember to take any pictures of the menu, so I won’t have the correct menu names (in Italian) for the dishes we ordered. The grilled lamb skewers were delicious. The prawn scampi were really good as well. The stewed mussels were well flavored, but overcooked to the point that the mussels had shrunken. The seafood pasta was disappointing, which surprised me as I’ve not really ever had a disappointing pasta in Italy (only one other time). Since it was late, we skipped dessert but our server made sure we had a welcome shot of Limoncello! She was such a wonderful server and made the experience more memorable.

20/04/2025: Das Restaurant war beinahe leer und das Service war maßlos überfordert Pizza war okay aber wir hatten insgesamt 6 mal nudeln bestellt und 4 mal waren sie nicht gut und die restlichen sind nicht gekommen. Es hat 20 min gedauert dass wir überhaupt nach Getränken gefragt wurden. Wir warne schon öfters hier aber diesmal das letzte mal!

16/01/2025: Hallo, das war die schlechteste Pizza die ich meinem Leben gegessen habe. Der Teig total trocken und hart. Der belag kaum vorhanden und ausgetrocknet. Der Service war auch unterirdisch. Nie wieder.

06/01/2025: Touristenfalle! Es wurde die Vorspeise "unabsichtlich" doppelt gebracht und doppelt verrechnet. Dafür waren die Hauptspeisen so klein, dass wir trotz doppelter Vorspeisen nicht satt waren. Also bestellten wir eine kleine Pizza als Nachspeise, was kein Problem war. Es wurde eine Minipizza gebracht, aber eine große verrechnet. Die Qualität der Speisen war mittelmäßig. Ich würde dieses Lokal nicht weiterempfehlen.

02/02/2025: Pizza buona ma servizio COMPLETAMENTE da rivedere. Eravamo in 6: A una persona - intollerante al lattosio - hanno portato la pizza sbagliata, nonostante la richiesta di escludere i formaggi. Il cameriere ha provato addirittura a sostenere che la pizza non avesse formaggio. A una persona hanno fatto cadere la pizza per terra e, conseguentemente, hanno sporcato il giubbotto di un altro commensale. Il tutto, senza chiedere scusa ma ridendo. Non hanno fatto sconti né si sono offerti di pulire il giubbotto o portarlo al lavasecco. Pizze comunque buone (a parte il prosciutto crudo tagliato troppo spesso), ma servizio pessimo. La prossima volta… da asporto.

27/01/2025: Pizza molto buona con ingredienti buoni e abbondanti l unico problema il personale! La signora nemmeno un sorriso e nemmeno una parola sembra seccata che si debba alzare dalla sedia ! L unico punto di forza il gatto sempre simpatico!

05/01/2025: Locale accogliente, i titolari ti fanno sentire a tuo agio. Il personale gentile. Ci torneremo sicuramente anche con amici.

05/10/2024: El Genio tiene todas las características que usted puede esperar de un restaurante italiano. Gran aparcamiento, bonitos asientos en una habitación luminosa y espaciosa. Asientos al aire libre disponibles. (Pero no esta vez, gracias, con 36 grados centígrados a la sombra) , mantel limpio espumoso, servicio afilado, y muy importante, deliciosa pizza y un extenso menú con antipasti, primi, secondi y dolce, si no te apetece pizza esta vez. el Genio es de recomendar. Fuimos dos veces durante nuestra estancia de 7 días en Polcenigo.

07/03/2024: Les prix facturés ne sont pas ceux affiché comme notamment le vin au verre maison , le coperto n est pas précisé non plus , et les portions extrêmements petite , décoration sympathique

01/03/2025: Esperienza top! Ambiente molto curato e piacevole, personale simpatico ed efficiente. Cibo davvero buono. Gli hamburger strepitosi, carne di altissima qualità. D’altronde per un locale che si chiama 80/20, ovvero la percentuale di carne magra (80) e quella grassa (20), non può essere diversamente! Super consigliato!! 5 stars!

19/10/2024: Ci sono stata più volte e mi sono trovata sempre bene. Cibo buono, buon rapporto qualità/ prezzo e locale molto carino. Necessaria prenotaIone.
