23/03/2025: Truly embarrassing staff, I would really like to know who hires these people! We show up today and I order 3 mediums and I ask for a cone for the child and I am told that she would give me a cup with a little ice cream with what I wanted on top and that if the colleagues had problems contacting her she would answer (which I never asked because I only wanted the cone to put some of my ice cream on the child). I accept your proposal, we arrive at the moment of having our products and the ruckus breaks out!!! A girl other than the one on the receipt is annoyed by what her colleague did, they start talking to each other in a very rude way but in the end she starts making this blessed one euro cup and puts some strawberry on it and at that point the girl who made the receipt starts SCREAMING IN FRONT OF EVERYONE: "THEN NEXT TIME YOU'LL PAY FOR IT IN FULL". - we had only asked for a cone and she did all this drama making us look bad by making us look like poor people who can't pay 3 euros!!!! We offer to pay the rest and they refuse but continue talking to each other!!!!! I would say that before proposing things it would be a good idea to reach an agreement among colleagues in order to avoid these misfortunes! If there hadn't been a kilometre-long queue I would have asked to speak to the manager because something like this is unacceptable! The staff and management needs to be completely overhauled! It's not the first time we've come and they've treated us badly! Test this scum first!!! Working for me would last 2 hours no more!!!!!! I specify that this chaos was created by the girl with the tattoo on her arm and I think I've read about other people complaining!! After this experience we will never go back; the thing that is certain is that a selection of the staff must be made because it is a worthwhile activity but I am sure that many people no longer go there because of them! A shame!!!!!

01/05/2025: But you can be ruder than the girl on the phone, every time you order a pizza she has to lecture you... Not once but 10 times. No, that's what they say, she's wrong, she makes you look ignorant, after several times I stopped. If to order a pizza I have to be offended, and I've been a customer for a long time, but let's learn some manners... But how dare you?? I would like a pizza to take away (food and drinks to be consumed outside the shop). Home delivery is a service and consists of transporting goods directly to the customer's home. So I'm the ignorant one!? Evidently since it's not her shop she loves treating people badly, if they don't apologize I won't set foot in there again. Unique rudeness but how dare you?? I no longer take and do not recommend!

24/04/2025: I have been a customer of this pizzeria since 2015. I'll start by saying that they were always super both in service and in pizza. Super large and plentiful of ingredients. However, today the situation has changed. And I'm not referring to the smallest pizza, because that can fit. The problem is that the pizza dough has really changed and I'm sorry to say it but it's rubbery and raw inside. Today we are in 2025 and there is a whole culture on how to make a digestible, well-leavened and well-cooked dough without burning the pizza. The pizza chef may have changed, I don't know... but you can feel the difference. This is why I decided to write this review. I hope you can improve the pizza and perfect it and make it one of the best here in Trieste, as it once was. I will try again in the future and hope to find a good pizza again.

23/02/2025: Una domenica tra amici Se capito a Tarvisio cerco di venire sempre qui. I titolari sono gentili, simpatici e disponibili. Ho imparato a prenotare prima. Il cibo è buono. Ottimo gli antipasti Ottimi i primi Super il frico. Il servizio è veloce nonostante il locale sia sempre pieno. Personalmente lo consiglio ma, prenotare prima. Complimenti alla signora alla cassa, bella, gentile e simpatica.

18/02/2025: E' la seconda volta che frequento questo ristorante. Due anni fa con degli amici siamo andati a mangiare/bere qualcosa e la cassiera non ha accettato carte di credito/bancomat per il pagamento. Ma effettivamente c'erano dei cartelli da loro scritti che avvisavano di ciò. Di fatto non erano stati molto cortesi nel rapporto con il cliente quando ci hanno sottolineato le modalità di pagamento. Oggi invece mi sono premurata di vedere se si poteva pagare con carta/bancomat ed entrando ho visto un POS. Chiedo di mangiare un piatto di patate fritte ed una birra per poter proseguire a sciare abbastanza leggera e mi rispondono che se voglio devo mangiare al bancone perchè " oggi teniamo aperto tutto il giorno quindi...". Quindi: erano le 14.30 almeno 4 tavoli da 4-6 persone liberi e pochissima gente sulle piste. Mi viene concesso alla fine di stare seduta ad un tavolo su cui non viene posta neanche una tovaglietta di carta e quindi mi vengono servite patate e birra. Termino, vado a pagare e mi viene chiesto di pagare in cash. rispondo che non raggiungo la somma richiesta e pertanto devo pagare con la carta. Spazientita la cassiera-cameriera dice " ecco perchè si fa al banco! noi paghiamo un sacco di tasse!". Si assicura in silenzio che la transazione sia passata, prende e se ne va senza salutare. Posso comprendere i problemi di tassazione, certo è che comunque due volte su due sono stati maleducati, soprattutto oggi che non si sono nemmeno sprecati a salutare, come banalmente insegnano le buone maniere

23/08/2024: This is the second time I've ordered take-out sushi here while on vacation and they were excellent. I'm always cautious about raw fish when I'm on vacation, especially in summer. I was absolutely impressed by the quality of the salmon and avocado here. Everything is freshly prepared and tastes excellent. Will definitely come again! By the way, the young gentleman at the cash desk is also very nice! 😊

25/09/2024: Had dinner with a colleague for work, advance payment required, never happened in the forty years I've been going around, tasteless overcooked pasta, worse fish main course, dinner to forget. Sorry for such a negative comment but it was our dinner experience

31/03/2025: E' sempre un piacere tornare a Trieste per godere della magnifica architettura asburgica di questa città. Anche la cucina triestina, che si "muove" tra terra e mare, mi ha sempre affascinato, soprattutto il prosciutto cotto tagliato a mano. La trattoria Da Giovanni è stata una bella scoperta, ambiente accogliente e piatti ricchi.

01/05/2025: Mangiare sufficientemente discreto ma il servizio pessimo, il cameriere molto scortese, porta l'insalata e richiediamo il condimento e si irrita e risponde, alzando la voce. Peccato perché l'ambiente è molto piacevole. Noi non torneremo più

21/04/2025: Pranzo Pasquale in famiglia. Piatti non tutti soddisfacenti e servizio lentissimo. Più di un' ora tra primo e secondo e non parliamo del caffè... Stavamo per andarcene a berlo da un'altra parte. C'era tantissima gente, probabilmente più di quella che il locale può gestire. In altre occasioni ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene, quindi forse gli daremo un'altra occasione.

19/02/2025: Dopo una giornata in compagnia siamo andati a mangiare un panino al Cubo. Abbiamo mangiato un ottimo hamburger con una buonissima birra, circondati da un panorama bellissimo. Una giornata memorabile.

03/09/2024: Per il terzo anno consecutivo, con la mia famiglia, siamo tornati a Lignano ed alla stessa spiaggia. A pranzo tutti i giorni siamo sempre andati al chiosco attiguo alla spiaggia, il Bar Smeraldo: come sempre il Bar Smeraldo e soprattutto il personale di sala si sono confermati perfetti. Manuel ( che coordina i ragazzi dello staff di Sala ) e’ sempre un piacere rivederlo: molto simpatico, professionale ed attento a tutto ed a tutti; una vera garanzia. Andrea e Sofia ( già presenti negli anni precedenti) molto simpatici e bravissimi, ed anche loro sempre attenti ad offrire un ottimo servizio. Quest’anno c’era Kristian, un nuovo ragazzo, simpaticissimo: sia lui che noi, ci abbiamo messo pochissimo ad entrare in sintonia. Quindi che dire? Se hai un posto come questo dove passi le vacanze, le stesse si trascorrono più serenamente.

01/09/2024: Ogni anno quando torno a Lignano è sempre bello tornare in questo bar sul lungomare! Staff sempre molto gentile e disponibile, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto buono, considerato che le porzioni sono tutt’altro che misere e le insalate proposte sono saporite e sostanziose. Se poi ci si sofferma a fare due chiacchiere con il personale di sala, in particolare con Manuel che coordina i ragazzi in maniera eccellente, e con Sofia, Andrea e Kristian si avrà sempre a che fare con persone davvero piacevoli e simpaticissime, il che non sempre è scontato. Location assolutamente promossa!

29/01/2025: We've been getting pizza here for years and it was delicious above all but half a meter, but lately it's a real disaster! Low quality ingredients and coarse pasta...It gets worse and worse and with the last time we give up. Too bad... let's hope the old one comes back...

15/01/2025: Clean place Always friendly staff My favorites are: Lucifer; Mexican but every now and then I also throw in some sandwiches. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Outdoor parking on the street.

27/01/2025: After our overnight stay last summer, we had dinner at the Rifugio Santurario at the end of January. The host, Jure, is a perfect host. He and the staff take excellent care of their guests. A large selection of local dishes. Very good wines. Simply top-notch. On Fridays, the cable car operates from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Reserving a table is recommended on Friday evenings! In addition to the perfect evening in the restaurant, Monte Lussari is of course an attraction. A dream, especially in the evening and in winter! Tip: Drive up shortly before 4 p.m., enjoy the panorama, and then enjoy a delicious meal!

11/01/2025: Despite arriving very late, we received a warm welcome. The waitress was very friendly, even though it wasn't busy on this winter evening. The mixed salad was super crisp. The pizzas were delicious; we had a Cardinale (photo) and a Capricciosa. We had a wonderful evening with delicious food. We'll be back.

30/04/2025: It is a fairly dated hotel and would need a renovation. On the other hand, the owners are very kind and helpful. The rooms are perhaps the thing that leaves most to be desired. The food is well prepared and also essentially of good quality. The location is exceptionally beautiful. I think it's difficult to think of a more beautiful view. The parking is adequate, the place is very quiet. Good value for money.

19/02/2025: Horrible. If you stay in "room" one you will find a beautiful fresco/painting that serves to mask cracks that run along all four walls, disturbing. Non-existent wardrobe but there is a shelf covered by a curtain which says it all: paradise for dust and mites. Uncomfortable beds with very hard mattresses and pillows. Bathroom let's draw a pitiful veil, I think the one on train carriages is wider. The toilet in front of the shower is impossible to sit upright, you make it strange by sitting on the side. The hairdryer and the telephone didn't work, luckily we had a hairdryer brought from home. Cold room especially at night. There are a couple of power sockets and if you need to charge your cell phone you have to unplug the battery. Towels never changed in a week, same for the sheets. The food is truly indescribable. Buffet dinner served everything on one plate: pasta, side dish, meat, bread. The poor breakfast. Shuttle bus for transporting tourists to the slopes is uncomfortable and leaves you waiting in the cold for hours, key word: disorganisation. I definitely wouldn't recommend it
