26/04/2025: When you set foot in this tavern, you hope to arouse a superficial sympathy in the staff at the bar, otherwise you risk finding yourself with a tear of wine in your glass, while at the tables next to you more generous glasses are served. This is for starters. The other sore points of the evening: finding the menu directly on the table without indications of allergens, nor a minimum of welcome from the staff and being forced to ask for by deduction for things that are not on the menu (for example the cutting boards); exorbitant prices compared to the portions; furthermore, it has never happened that at the end of the meal, after clearing the table, no one asked us if we wanted a dessert or something else. In short, what kind of service is this? Finally, the bill is characterized by maximum opacity, with generic "bar" items, to which it is difficult to trace the individual courses. In short, in the end not only no one asks you for dessert, but they also serve you the (alas metaphorical) amaro.

19/04/2025: Historic wine shop, central and well-known place, 4 reds and 4 canapés €32!!!! Prices outside for outside, moreover the canapés weren't that great and the meatballs were very small and greasy and overblown, we won't set foot in them again! Prices not in line!

23/09/2024: Pranzo di fine estate con amici in questo locale da noi conosciuto. Grazie alla compagnia e alla qualità e cura dei piatti serviti è stato un ottimo pranzo per tutti noi. Da consigliare spaghetti vongole bottarga, penne integrali pomodoro bufalina, gamberoni. :))))

30/04/2025: Plastic plates, cutlery and cups not acceptable for a restaurant. They forgot our order twice, the staff was not friendly. Food has potential to be a good restaurant but they need to review how they do the service.

30/12/2024: Nous avons dîné le premier soir de notre séjour dans l’hôtel. La salle de restaurant est certes magnifique mais les plats proposés le sont moins: le choix est assez restreint. De plus certains desserts sont indigents : par exemple le crumble coco mandarine . Cela est d’autant plus surprenant que les pâtisseries proposées au petit déjeuner sont excellentes et copieuses. Pourquoi donc ne pas les proposer au dîner ?

17/04/2025: Wir waren zu fünft mit der Familie in diesem Restaurant essen. So schlecht haben wir noch selten gegessen in Italien. Auch das Ambiente ähnelt eher einer Kantine. Es geht schon damit los, dass das Lokal nicht beheizt ist und Mitte April im Laden maximal 16 grad waren. Der Kellner ist gleichzeitig der Koch und muss alleine erledigen während der Chef an einem Tisch sitzt und mit seinem Computer beschäftigt ist. Das Essen ist einfach nur schlecht. Das Fleisch zäh, der Fisch trocken und alles auch noch sehr schlecht gewürzt. Sucht euch ein anderes Lokal in Triest, davon gibt es jede Menge, die sehr zu empfehlen sind

03/02/2025: I start from the assumption that it was a short stay lasting only 1 night. I decided to book at this property for convenience. Strategic location near the ski lift for Mount Zoncolan on which there is a fairly popular ski resort. Being a 4 star hotel we expected a high level of everything but this was not the case. Room: we opted for a modern room, at least that's what it seemed like from the description and photos. The room looks quite welcoming but then going into the details it's not really like that. Fairly dated furniture, ok we are in the mountains but we need to update a bit. In the "double" bed we had the displeasure of sleeping on 2 mattresses and not on a double mattress, which gave us a night of almost "split" with the risk of our 16 month old baby getting stuck between the 2 mattresses. A positive point is the comfortable mattresses. Negative point was the cleanliness of the room, under the bed there was an impressive accumulation of dust lasting I don't know how many days. Clean bathroom. Service: the staff was kind to let us check in early upon request, the lady who also takes care of the restaurant welcomed us, unfortunately we were not provided with any information on the opening times of the SPA inside the structure which we were interested in but only upon request. The restaurant presents itself with great attention to detail, a very interesting à la carte menu with very good options including homemade pasta. We used the restaurant for both lunch and dinner. The negative point of the restaurant is that during the evening service it is not clear how the side dish buffet works, we were not told that we would be charged for each plate of side dishes that they brought to our table, the same thing only for the desserts, we were told that we would have to have one dessert each. Another negative point is having a 16 month old child pay the cover charge. Breakfast: poor, very poor indeed, we are talking about a 4 star, it is impossible that there was no fruit, only 2 kiwis cut in half, and it was only 8 in the morning. The spa looks quite good, small but welcoming, the heated pool is a plus for the little ones. In short, at the end of my stay I would say that I would return just to try other dishes in the restaurant.
