10/09/2024: I first met Naausica when we ordered my graduation cake from her which was so good and beautiful that we decided to rely on her for our wedding. Naausica is a wonderful person, very kind and helpful. He listens to every idea or doubt and always offers you lots of options and solutions. At my wedding I had people with allergies and vegans and she managed to make everyone happy. The cake, or rather the wedding cakes, were spectacular, beautiful and delicious! Not to mention the buffet of pastries that accompanied it. The decorations of both the cake and the table were also carefully thought out and wonderful. I highly recommend his pastry shop but most of all I recommend Naausica as a professional!

03/03/2025: As soon as we arrived we were welcomed impeccably. We had booked by informing the venue that we also had a small poodle and they, in a very nice way, made us find a mat for Tom Thumb and a bowl of water upon our arrival :D. The staff is very professional, attentive to the room and does not exceed in their familiarity with customers. The service is quick and attentive. We took a round pizza (exceptional dough and seasoning), a suppli (made by them...spectacular!!), a bruschetta (tomato, buffalo mozzarella and anchovies...perfect), some grilled salmon (exceptional raw material) and sautéed chicory (excellent, perhaps slightly too spicy). Then we also took a pistachio delight for dessert (spectacular) and the owner let us taste both a dessert made by him (like a bounty) and the sponge cake... all gluten-free but it was difficult to understand if he hadn't told us :D. Speaking of the owner... Mr. Gianfranco, at a certain point during the dinner, stopped by our table to see if everything was okay, he is a person who puts passion into his work (which he has been doing for some time) and welcomes the customer as if you were a guest coming to his home, so he wants to make you feel at ease and your satisfaction is the most important thing for him. He is very nice and welcomes all customers in the same way, obviously there could also be customers who don't like (but because it is now a rare attitude when you arrive in a place and we are increasingly an "asocial" society) this customer care, because perhaps it is intrusive (just read some reviews), but instead in my opinion it is nice that a person puts so much passion into what he does and I don't think he doesn't also have the intelligence to understand who he can have this attitude with and maybe who he can't. He is certainly a person who is also demanding of his staff, but this has a very positive result for the customer, because I have rarely seen such an efficient team of people, from the waiters to the kitchen staff. We will certainly go to visit them again, despite our distance. Highly recommended

02/03/2025: Excellent food quality. Exceptional meat dishes, quality fish and the pizza was also appreciated. The most appreciated thing was the friendliness and kindness of the staff, it really feels like being at home and the waiters take a lot of confidences but only in order to get a laugh, while remaining careful not to miss anything. Prices slightly above average for the area, but I would stay here again.

25/02/2025: Hotel with its period charm shall we say 😀 but frankly old-fashioned... Large room, rather comfortable bedding, bathroom from the 60s... The privatization of the SPA for 4 people may be worth the detour... No private parking 😞 Very surprised by the 4* category of this Hotel... perhaps not the same standards as in France.

06/02/2025: Stunning Art Nouveau location facing the sea, a stone's throw from the Casino and the pedestrian shopping area, very elegant rooms equipped with every comfort, refined and varied breakfast. Professional and courteous staff Highly recommended‼️

Excellent dishes, well prepared and plentiful dishes. 5 of us had dinner with a house appetizer with vegetable side dishes which also included the very good chestnut soup. 02/03/2025: Pizzeria discovered by chance for dinner while returning from the sea during the week. A little slow in the service (almost an hour of waiting, but it must be remembered that it was very full), the manager was very kind and scrupulous in explaining the dough and the various types of preparations (the waitress who served us was a little less so...perhaps just hired?). Very good pizzas, light dough and plentiful ingredients.. A nice discovery...we will be back

17/02/2025: Unfortunately we only found the rudeness to be gargantuan. Having arrived on site on Saturday 15/02 at lunchtime, after making a telephone reservation, we were rudely addressed by a member of staff, who, having seen us lingering in the doorway for about a minute, came out telling us "Do you have to eat? Well, maybe get moving!". I can understand that the kitchen was closing, but we arrived at the time agreed upon by telephone, and I would say that there is no way to accommodate a group of ten people, especially during a less than generous winter season (no snow received, slopes closed, empty rooms). We then freed the Pantagruel staff from the inconvenience, heading towards another restaurant. P.s. Even the lady who took the reservation had an annoyed and unwelcoming tone. Sometimes it is good to remember that the quality of a restaurant is not only measured by the food, but also by the service and friendliness, because customers pay to have fun and feel good, certainly not to be scolded or mistreated.

29/01/2025: Un’oasi nel deserto. Dal Francese e’ ormai una piccola grande istituzione nel quartiere Appio grazie alla proposta ricercata e di qualità tutta Made in France. Eccellente la scelta dei vini e piacevolissimo il menù che si compone di praticamente solo “entrate”. Tutto speciale e raffinato il giusto.

27/01/2025: Che luogo delizioso, fuori dal tempo e dallo spazio! Una volta entrati si viene avvolti dalla Francia e i suoi profumi. Cordialità, qualità e atmosfera. Vini deliziosi, cibo sfizioso. Non vedo l'ora di tornare!
