13/06/2026: We had our daughter's baptism at their venue. A very charming, traditional location. The outdoor seating is lovely. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, from the owner to the chef to the waiters. They made everything easy for us; excellent value for money. We were completely satisfied with the food, and the guests were all very happy. The organization was also impeccable. We are completely satisfied with the experience! Recommended venue.

09/05/2026: We're from Lecce and dined here for the first time during the off-season (May). We found the atmosphere to be refined and welcoming, thanks in large part to the owners, who made sure to welcome us with a smile and a friendly atmosphere right from the start. Once we'd chosen a table, we immediately sampled the appetizers, sampling the fig bread with pastrami: it exceeded our expectations, both in terms of presentation and flavor. This was followed by a delicious polenta concia with sausage; again, they accommodated our needs by offering us the option of choosing an off-menu option. To further confirm the place's conviviality, we stopped to chat with the owners after dinner.

15/06/2026: Recommended for both raw seafood and cooked fish lovers. The ingredients are excellent, the wine list is well-selected, and the atmosphere is relaxed and youthful (like the owners and staff). Prices are commensurate with the offerings (wine is important, but the base price is already quite high). Very good.

15/06/2026: We had a wonderful meal here - the garden setting with a canopy of lemon trees is beautiful. Wonderful fresh seafood. Outstanding service - especially as I left my house keys there and they dropped them back at our hotel. Thanks so much.

26/07/2026: The baguette with kebab is excellent. The msemen is typical, but not very cured. Only non-alcoholic beer. Inviting, thin-crust and beautifully presented pizzerias. Fast and friendly service. Large summer terrace where you can eat in peace. Takeout is also available, even by ordering directly from the app.

10/06/2026: 🐔 We went to Cà Sottane for a wedding, and honestly, it feels like one of those places straight out of a Ligurian inland postcard. Nature everywhere, tranquility, animals roaming the surrounding area, and that authentic atmosphere that's increasingly rare these days. What struck us most is the real passion behind it: much of what's served is homemade, and you can taste it from the first bite to the last. Appetizers, first courses, second courses... everything is delicious, without exception. No "filling" courses, just things made well and with care. The staff was incredibly kind throughout the day, but a special mention goes to the chef: a character in the best sense of the word. Friendly, genuine, and captivating, one of those people who can put you in a good mood even before you've tasted what she's cooking. If you're looking for a place surrounded by greenery, with excellent food, animals, a family atmosphere, and people who put their heart into it, Cà Sottane is truly a place worth visiting. I would go back without thinking twice!!

22/12/2025: So I'll start by saying I'm deeply shocked, perhaps because I had high expectations, perhaps because of the restaurant's social and architectural ambience, perhaps because I'd read the reviews. The beetroot and pumpkin appetizer was good, but man, the main course, the chicken nugget (the second most expensive, by the way), was incredibly fatty. I've truly never eaten such a fatty dish, devoid of any crunch (I was hoping for chicken skin, but instead it was terribly moist and mushy). A cream of corn, butter, and potatoes, and bitter mushrooms—all lacking in consistency, just terribly mushy. But up to that point, it was still okay. The problem was the little bones of cartilage or something, which crunched between your teeth when you bit into the chicken. Needless to say, I couldn't finish it, and I'm not going to be disgusted by chicken. The dessert was quite good. The waiters were nice, but a little too confused and out of place for where they work. But that chicken really traumatized me, never again.

25/07/2026: A truly memorable lunch, one that makes you appreciate how special sitting down to a meal can be when everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. The food is simply excellent: I tried the rice with black truffle and it was a true delight, a fragrant, balanced, and flavorful dish... one of those that makes you say without hesitation, "I'll definitely be back here." Each course is carefully prepared, tastefully presented, and served with a dedication to the customer that is worth far more than the classic five-star rating. You can sense the passion, professionalism, and desire to provide a pleasant and satisfying experience. Special praise goes to Gianluca, the owner: a rare, welcoming, empathetic person, capable of immediately putting you at ease and transforming a simple lunch into a warm and family-like experience. Thank you so much: I will be back soon, with great pleasure.

24/07/2026: An experience definitely worth repeating. The atmosphere is welcoming, elegant, yet informal. Ideal for a dinner with friends or as a couple. The quality of the food is excellent: dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients, beautifully presented, and very tasty. The service also deserves a special mention: the staff were friendly, attentive, and always available, making us feel welcome from start to finish. The value for money is guaranteed: overall, it was an experience I would recommend without hesitation.

11/08/2026: An acquaintance of mine recommended this place... and who could blame him? My girlfriend and I had two spritzes with appetizers and two savory crepes. They were delicious, but most importantly, very large (we didn't eat dinner that evening because we were so full). The location is welcoming, and the staff was very kind and friendly. Reservations were required, but luckily, two people before us got up and seated us right away. I'll definitely be back and recommend this place. The prices may seem a little high, but you have to take into account your location (Strepeis isn't exactly around the corner) and, above all, the size of the crepes. Congratulations!

02/08/2026: Thin-crust pizza, as many call it, "Roman" style, very tasty and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is intimate, with just a few tables; it's a shame the bathroom is outside. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an excellent, no-frills, quality dinner!

19/08/2026: The restaurant is well-located and the food is good, but at the checkout, the prices are always higher than those on the menu. On our second visit, we paid €25 for a gnocchi dish that was €8 and a spaghetti dish that was €9. It's common in Italy for cutlery, bread, aperitifs, and water to be charged extra. However, even when we deliberately left out the bread and aperitifs, we paid the same prices as on our first visit, for the same dishes. The prices on the menu don't seem right. Beware!

05/08/2026: All the reviews for this restaurant are incomprehensible. The food is awful. The spare ribs are absolutely terrible, and I can make better pizza and burgers at home. The chicken burger is just a schnitzel sandwich, and all in all, this restaurant has nothing to do with Italy. It's comparable to a motorway service station.

02/11/2025: Stayed at a near by all inclusive hotel. Without getting transport to closest tourist places, Cefalu or Palmero, there is nothing outside of the hotel complex. 2 weeks ago there was a Ferrari car tribute event so had a walk out along the road to watch AND stumbled on this GREAT LITTLE CAFE. Having already eaten, Just stopped for a coffee (and beer🫣😂). Looks to be run by a family, with a great selection of authentic food and drink. Also very reasonably priced. A good break from an all inclusive hotel, experiencing more culture. Very polite and welcoming. English isn't great so like a game of sharards but that was the authenticity we liked of true Sicily 😃. Overheard others who had a meal saying how nice the food was. Even if it's only a walk out of the hotel and a drnykike us, support this great independent

20/08/2026: I call to ask for two takeout pizzas at 6:00 PM and am told, "Come here, we don't take takeout orders over the phone, you have to come here. I'm going back to work now." "Come here????" I'm not your dog, and you're not running a bank, you're just putting silverware on the tables. A word of advice for the owner: don't give the phone to anyone; answer it personally and politely so as not to lose customers and avoid making a fool of yourself. Experience nipped in the bud.
