24/03/2024: Doveva essere un brunch in famiglia ed eravamo molto contente di mangiare francese a Modena e molto incuriosite dal locale ma siamo rimaste super deluse. Avevamo prenotato e quando siamo arrivate (alle 11.30) il ristorante era ancora vuoto (c’era solo un tavolo occupato), e il nostro tavolo era stato apparecchiato per solo due persone invece che tre. Quando chiesto di sederci in un’altro già apparecchiato per 3 abbiamo ricevuto un ‘no’ secco dall’hostess, quando avrebbe potuto spiegare gentilmente che era stato richiesto. Una volta serviti i piatti, ho notato che l’uovo nella mia crêpes salata (preciso che doveva essere cbt: ovvero albume cotto molto morbido e tuorlo cremoso) aveva ancora un bello strato di patina trasparente non cotta… pertanto ho chiesto cortesemente di cuocerlo un po di più e nonostante la mia richiesta mi hanno riportato il piatto uguale a prima. Mi è sembrata una presa in giro e ho richiesto nuovamente la cosa. Al fine si è presentato lo chef al tavolo che, con arroganza, ha ripetuto che l’uovo andava servito così e se non mi andava bene potevo non mangiarlo. Io ho semplicemente ribadito che preferivo fosse più cotto e che così crudo non l’avrei digerito bene. Non ha voluto cuocerlo di più e ha ripreso. È stato davvero maleducato, la mia era un semplice richiesta, considerato che sono io che devo mangiarlo e pagarlo!!! Non mi era mai capitata un servizio del genere. Oltre a tutto ciò, la porta del bagno non era funzionale. Non si sono nemmeno scusati per il disagio…. Un’esperienza da dimenticare!!!

23/03/2024: Quello che mi pace di questo posto è "La passione " che questa coppia di ristoratori ci mette ! Lui ti spiega ogni preparazione e con enfasi francese ti snocciola cotture ed ingredienti d piatti e salse a mio avviso molto buoni ! Lei, "modenese", attenta conoscitrice di vini francesi te li presenta molto bene ! Non menziono un piatto in particolare in quanto tutti piacevoli ! Formaggi con abbinamento composte eccezionali ! BRAVI !!!!!

07/01/2024: Con alcuni amici "locals" sono stato a cena in questa enoteca con cucina di Codigoro. Mi è piaciuto già all'esterno, ma dentro supera se stesso. La scelta dei vini è vastissima, da prodotti locali a vini provenienti da ogni angolo d'Italia. Molto buona pure la cucina: da segnalare i ravioli di zucca con guanciale e mandorle, ma il menù propone varie scelte, sia di carne che di pesce. Se poi i cocktail sono il vostro genere questo è il posto giusto. Prezzi non bassissimi, ma la qualità non è mai gratis.

05/04/2024: Limited food offering on the menu and slow service. I was with a group and we had problems paying the bill. First we were notified of an account and then by paying individually the total payments were greater than the one communicated. When we pointed out the mistake the staff were very rude and insulting. Given that making mistakes is human, it would have been a good gesture to recognize the mistake and remedy the mistake rather than raising one's voice and speaking in an annoyed tone.

20/02/2024: Very popular cool bar! Delicious cocktails and super friendly staff! The interior gave a cozy feel but slightly rundown furniture. Gets very very busy in the evening so best to reserve.
