30/06/2025: I'm afraid the staff isn't exactly friendly. I suddenly needed a glass of water to take some medicine (I should point out that some bars charge for water, so I went in without any pretensions whatsoever...). I went to the register and asked the lady if I could ask for a glass of water, and, very annoyed, she told me to go to the counter (again, I asked at the register because I wanted to make sure I had to pay for it). I went to the counter and asked the same question, and another lady replied, "Yes, but you'll have to wait," also in an annoyed tone. They gave me the glass of water (for which I thanked her), and I asked again if I owed anything, but got no answer. So I assumed I didn't have to pay anything. After finishing my glass of water, I said to the lady again, "Thank you, ma'am, good luck." Obviously, no one ever responded. And I left. Product quality without service quality means nothing; I suggest you work on that too. Maybe you don't think you need it because you're the station bar and you have customers regardless. Anyway, thanks again for the water.

12/07/2025: Sempre un piacere. Un locale che è sempre una certezza. Cibo buono, servito sempre con il sorriso. Un buon vino per accompagnare i piatti caratteristici che alla Cioca sono sempre ottimi ed abbondanti. Ma che bel posto. Alla prossima volta.

13/12/2025: A cute place, softly lit, with an aperitif or after-dinner atmosphere. The service is courteous and quick despite the crowded place. Unique cocktails and an interesting wine selection with refined and unusual labels. I found a champagne from Ay on the menu at a more than fair price. I took a few bottles home with me, and I was impressed by the quality for the price. We only had two appetizers, but they were well-made.

04/01/2026: To say that Sergio, one of the waiters, has been the kindest and most attentive person I have seen in Venice, where it is clear that the hospitality staff are overwhelmed by so many tourists, but Sergio has been very good to us.

16/11/2025: I recommend this place for a breakfast or brunch. It's a small place, but nice. Nothing too fancy. The service was ok. I didn't like that I received the pancakes before the omelette. And it also toked a wile to receive it. The food, was ok, but not great. The pancakes were good, the greek yogurt was also good. I was disappointed by the toast bread with omelette, salmon and cheese. The ingredients felt cheap.

09/11/2025: A lovely little café/bistro. Located on the roadside, but the good food makes up for it. We had French croissants with Nutella (2.50/3 euros), very moist and sweet. Absolutely delicious! We also had beautifully presented and equally tasty pancakes. The generously filled croque monsieur sandwiches for 9.50 euros were worth the price. The avocado toast was good, but a little under-seasoned and quite expensive for the small portion (10 euros). The coffees were very good. But their coffee is espresso. The waiter was also very friendly, thank you.

05/01/2026: 1 star not so much for the food or the waiters but for the unprofessionalism of the management.. Italian Sunday evening unacceptable to charge double the cover charge with 2 cover charges because you pay for the event.. First of all it is not specified when you book.. In any case the wording on the receipt is unacceptable.. Because in my opinion the cover charge pays for the service.. Of the waiters who did not clear the table double... So I hope since you pay double for the cover charge, the employees are also paid as such on these days... 0 seriousness!!

20/06/2025: Il cibo è ottimo, il locale, piacevole e sempre ordinato è un po' piccolino e quindi sempre un po' affollato. I commessi sono per lo più cortesi, ma un paio molto scortesi per cui se ti capita il giorno no oltre alla lunga fila (giustificata vista la qualità) ti tocca una fila aggiuntiva dovuta alla scortesia e alla totale mancanza di simpatia per la clientela locale, il turista viene sempre prima

30/12/2025: Beers are good, staff nice unfortunately the guy behind the bar maybe the owner, was rude maybe because it was a busy night. Cocktail overpriced considering we're not in Milan or London. I wouldn't go back if ever visit the city again considering Lecce is full of lovely bars and restaurants.

24/10/2025: Great place to drink a well-tasted Guinness, take advantage of the aperitif for 2/3 people with two medium beers for 19.59. I recommend it.
