Apart from Michela who has been helping us for months in choosing the menu and in the organization with impeccable patience and professionalism, the quality of the food, both land and sea, is extraordinary. The raw fish is delicious and the service is impeccable and kindness reigns supreme. Even though we are from Monza, it is now our point of reference for events and family lunches. Prices completely in line with the excellent quality of the dishes (don't miss out on the raw fish) and the professionalism of the staff. Thank you

04/06/2025: Tappa fissa ogni volta che passiamo una serata nella splendida Matera . Location raffinata e accogliente . Bella atmosfera in una via al riparo dal trambusto dei Sassi . Facilmente raggiungibile a piedi e con un comodo parcheggio auto attiguo . Personale molto gentile e disponibile , sempre attento alle esigenze del cliente . Cibo di ottima qualita . La direttrice del ristorante la sig ra Isabella ci ha illustrato il menù con competenza e simpatia proponendoci sia piatti della migliore cucina francese che piatti della tradizione lucana rivisitati con un tocco di classe . Completa il tutto una selezionata carta dei vini italiani e francesi . Da ritornarci più e più volte .

Exceptional dishes, halfway between tradition and innovation thanks to the French influence, impeccable service (the host entertained us and carefully explained each dish). Highly recommended

Menú realmente impresionante, chef vino a hablar con nosotros sobre la comida, grandes cócteles (buena relación calidad-precio en happy hour! ) honestamente creo que es una joya escondida - a la par con lovage y osters pero mejores precios. ¡Más gente necesita saberlo! Se lo diré a mis amigos y volveré en mi próxima cita.

Un plauso speciale va al duo padre e figlio, due persone simpatiche, genuine e incredibilmente ospitali. Ti fanno sentire a casa dal primo istante, con un’accoglienza calorosa ma sempre professionale. È raro trovare a Catania un posto così: un vero gioiellino, dove si torna volentieri, anche solo per il piacere di stare bene. Grazie di cuore per questa bellissima esperienza. Torneremo sicuramente!

18/04/2025: A truly unforgettable experience! Excellent food, with attention to the smallest details, with authentic flavors and the right portions. Special praise goes to the father and son duo, two nice, genuine and incredibly hospitable people. They make you feel at home from the first moment, with a warm but always professional welcome. It is rare to find a place like this in Catania: a real gem, where you willingly return, even just for the pleasure of feeling good. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience. 24/04/2025: This was simply the best restaurant dinner I have had in a very long time. It has a range of dishes from traditional Piemontese to more eclectic. The portions are not small: after a starter and primo I couldn't finish the secundo (a shame because it was so good). The poached egg starter was good and the rabbit very good. The Risotto primo was top class and the braised veal and amberjack fish secundi were really excellent. But the prices are actually low for the quality, comparable to other restaurants nearby: starters are €15 to €19, same for primi, and €21 to €27 for secundi. Desserts are €9. The desserts are amazing and the dessert/pastry chef has real talent; other reviews talk about the porcini mushroom dessert and it's even better than they say: it has to be tasted to be believed. The service is excellent. One of us is coeliac (Gluten free) and they adjusted dishes e.g., amuse-bouche, dessert, where possible. The Gluten free bread was superior to most. Service was prompt but not intrusive. It's hard to oversell this place. Excellent food and service, and extremely good value.

02/06/2025: A corner of authentic France! 🇫🇷 We went to this restaurant serving typical French cuisine and the experience was truly pleasant. The galettes were excellent: well cooked, thin but substantial and richly stuffed with quality ingredients. The sweet crêpes won us over: delicate and delicious and even the tarta ten was super good, a little too sweet! We accompanied everything with cider served in traditional ceramic cups, an authentic touch that brought us back to Brittany. The soupe à l’oignon was also good, perhaps slightly too dense compared to the more soupy one found in France, but still tasty and comforting. Overall, everything was very good, warm and welcoming atmosphere. A perfect place for those who want to taste a bit of France without taking a plane!
