05/07/2025: We had a wonderful experience: Gnocchi with snails Spaghetti w oysters and coconut excellent combination! Eggplant Trout, which as usual I found too salty but my husband didn’t. A very pleasant orange wine - not too funky. Can’t think of any negatives I would definitely recommend and certainly go back to.

27/06/2025: The same advice from the jovial lawyer from Parma that had made me discover La Valle, this time led me to the Cortex Bistrot. From the green hills above Fidenza to the narrow streets of the center of Parma, warmed by the rays of the sun of the first, real, days of summer. Inside, however, it is nice, an informal environment between shelves of books and bottles that celebrate past uncorkings, the girls who welcomed us and took care of us always patient and courteous, even though we were a large company and perhaps with a few too many requests. I really liked the cuisine of Cortex, articulated without being excessive, fresh and original in the choice of ingredients with a result always well-centered, you can find delicacy where perhaps you would expect intensity, or the exact opposite. I put “𝑝𝑒𝑝𝑒 𝑏𝑢𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑜, 𝑎𝑠𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑖, 𝑐𝑎𝑣𝑖𝑎𝑙𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑎, 𝑏𝑒𝑙𝑢𝑔𝑎” in first place along with “𝑐𝑖𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑎, 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑡𝑒́, 𝑣𝑖𝑛 Hello, dear friend, extraordinary starter the “𝑧𝑢𝑐𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑎 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑑𝑖𝑑, “𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑜𝑛, 𝑏𝑜𝑡𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑔𝑎”. Since I lacked the courage, I chose “𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑜, 𝑔𝑎𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟𝑖, 𝑝𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑖, 𝑐𝑢𝑟𝑟𝑦” instead of “𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑎, 𝑠𝑒𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑎, 𝑓𝑎𝑔𝑖𝑜𝑙𝑖 𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑙’𝑜𝑐𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑜”, but who wouldn't? he had my paranoias he then called it spectacular. The wine list was a real playground, to satisfy every possible desire without breaking the bank. As a company alcoholic, colleagues, on average 20 years younger, gave me carte blanche and I, as an elderly person, took advantage of it. 23/06/2025: I fell in love at first sight with this exceptional ice cream and the two "boys" behind this place and its explosive flavor creations! I think it is evident to anyone who tastes the extraordinary quality of their ice cream, how much research into combinations and unconventional choices, how much passion and in-depth study into the supply of raw materials are at the base of the amazing result of this unique ice cream! 🥰

21/06/2025: Superlative ice cream, to say good is an understatement. Intrigued by the excellent reviews I enter this ice cream shop, the owners are super kind and helpful, I have never seen such sunny and courteous guys with the customer, I took a tub to take home and since I am not from Parma they gave me the box so that the ice cream would not melt, the flavors are intense and good, devastating licorice, hazelnut, and the two pistachio flavors to fly away, compliments really, I will return soon and every time I am passing by I will stop by to delight myself with your ice cream.

19/06/2025: We were there tonight All you can … just one word Disappointment … to start with waiting half an hour to receive 2 pieces of meat … on the other hand we continued to order jugs of beer (drinking more than 10 liters of beer in 5 people) in the hope of continuing to dine …. I prefer not to continue this review … given the Treatment Reserved to us at the end of the evening Never Again. Thanks anyway

03/07/2025: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A little gem in the heart of Parma: Il Rigoletto di Antonella e Fabrizio in B.go Ronchini. We had the pleasure of having lunch in this delightful little restaurant in the heart of Parma's historic center and the experience was simply memorable. From the phone call for the reservation - highly recommended - the owner conveyed kindness, precision and great love for his work and for his restaurant. Once we arrived, we were welcomed by a small and cozy environment (about 25 seats), with attention to detail: pleasant air conditioning, well-spaced tables, impeccably clean bathroom. The service begins with an appetizer of excellent Sani Franco ham, accompanied by a good house Lambrusco. To follow, unforgettable artisanal tortelli: the orange ones with caramelized peel are a real surprise for the palate, and the parmigiana herb ones with green pasta are a tribute to tradition. We also tried a tasty pork shoulder in a sweet and sour ginger and lemon sauce, served with baked potatoes: a balanced dish full of character. The menu was inviting to try the excellent selection of cheeses, but we put it off until our next visit. The wine list is quality, even if smaller than in the past — as the owner tells us — but you can still feel a lot of passion and expertise even on the beverage front: “otherwise there is still a lot to have fun with wine,” he tells us with a smile. The place is enriched by splendid artistic photos, with the owner and his wife as subjects: a personal and poetic touch that tells a story. A highly recommended experience. We will definitely be back, also because — as the owner confesses to us — the well-deserved rest is approaching by 2026… and we don't want to miss the opportunity to relive such a special dinner. Thank you so much for the welcome, the quality and the humanity.

31/05/2025: An excellent, classic old school restaurant. Formal waiters, excellent wine list, elegant atmosphere. We started with an assorted salami plate and chunks of aged parmesan cheese. The cheese is brought without asking and is 6 euro (which is worth it). The salami plate comes with the puffy fried rolls which I have heard referred to as gnocci rolls. Delicious. My partner then had the Bis di Tortelli (two types of stuffed pastas) while I had the traditional Anolini in Brodo (filled pasta in capon broth). We split a veal shoulder stuffed with Parmigian for our main. I would rate the primi and secondi as very good but not great. Overall, a very nice dinner.

05/07/2025: History, Tradition, Ambience... Whether it's a weekday or a weekend, if you go to Cortile you won't be disappointed! Family-run restaurants aren't always the best, but this one is part of that category! From the experience of the kitchen to the kindness in the dining room you will be welcomed by tradition and some novelties revisited by this proposal of Parmigiana cuisine! Homemade pasta of an absolute level, more than four restaurants, this one deserves it! The tagliata that I had as a second course was challenging and satisfying! I will return to try other dishes! Excellent value for money and also a very respectable choice of wines!

23/06/2025: Michela and her staff followed us for our wedding, from the first moment we were impressed by the availability and attention they had towards us. They were close to us throughout the process taking care of every little detail approaching with great professionalism. All our guests were positively impressed by the quality of the service with a special mention for the aperitif area. Despite the bad weather, they managed to make plan B above all our expectations: absolutely recommended!
