01/03/2026: Convenient location; the outdoor seating isn't particularly attractive, but it's practical, as it's directly on the Via Emilia. Outdoor seating is available in the summer. Friendly, helpful, and courteous staff. Traditional Lucanian cuisine with some Emilian options. Good, high-quality food, generous portions. The decor is a bit dated, but that's not out of place; in fact, it gives it a historic feel. The small window overlooking the kitchen also gives it a homey feel. We'll definitely be back to try the other dishes on the menu, which is slightly different from the one published on the website, giving you the opportunity to discover new dishes.

12/02/2026: I regret discovering it only a few years ago, even though this management has been in place since 1998. In my opinion, it's the best Chinese restaurant (not fusion) in Bologna and the surrounding area. The dishes are plentiful, with a wide selection, all worth trying, and cooked without leaving any odors in the room. The recently renovated restaurant isn't large, but this also reflects the friendly atmosphere created by Valentina and the entire wait staff. Furthermore, the prices are also reasonable. So, what can I say: try it and believe it. Highly recommended.

07/02/2026: A truly charming and clean place; the staff is very busy but friendly; the food is good, but it doesn't make a difference: the spring rolls are only made with cabbage; the grilled shrimp were undercooked and tasted like they were boiled; quite expensive. Perhaps they have other specialties, so I'll go back to see if I'm wrong.

I think the place is perfect for children, who have the opportunity to spend time outdoors, perhaps watching the performances of the numerous horses and their riders. The food is good, the lesser-known ones very rich, and the selections are varied and interesting. The wine selection is also good. I'd say the price/quality ratio is good.

01/02/2026: The elegance and friendly smile of the hostess who seats you, the typical Bolognese dishes cooked with love and taste by the chef, the number one cotoletta petroniana in Bologna and the surrounding area that my son can't live without... but every time an off-menu that ranges through the good taste of our region combined with seasonal products... fried polenta with Colonnata lard and melted cheese... fried tortelloni filled with stracchino or friggione... typical desserts here too, the chef's rice cake... as a couple or in company, we feel at home! 26/10/2025: The experience exceeded our expectations! The location and dining rooms were very well-maintained, the staff was very friendly, and the food was truly excellent with unexpected pairings! We ordered two excellent appetizers (deer tartare and cod cannoli), truly delicious ossobuco tortelli, a Bolognese cutlet that amazed us, and an almond tartlet with coffee cream that was truly incredible! Congratulations! We'll definitely be back!

04/03/2026: If you're looking for a true Emilian trattoria in the San Lazzaro area, Trattoria Sandoni is an absolute guarantee. A welcoming atmosphere, a family-friendly feel, and cuisine that truly reflects tradition. We started with typical appetizers, and I can say without exaggeration: excellent, truly excellent. Quality cured meats, flavorful cheeses, and generous portions that alone speak volumes about the restaurant's respect for the raw ingredients and local cuisine. The masterpiece, however, came with the first course: tagliolini with culatello. Truly exceptional. Perfectly rolled fresh pasta, flavorful yet delicate, with a fragrant and enveloping culatello that makes the dish balanced and unforgettable. One of those first courses that you'll never finish without. All accompanied by friendly and attentive service, which makes you feel right at home. And then the strong point: truly excellent value for money. You eat very well, you spend the right amount, and you leave wanting more. Definitely a place to return to... and return again. 🍷

03/03/2026: I took a whole group of friends to eat at this restaurant because several people recommended it to me, so I had to try it. I was especially happy with the fresh pasta first courses. Some people were a little disappointed with the quantity of tagliatelle at that price. However, I would go back to try the chestnut flour tagliatelle with mushrooms. Perhaps too much noise.

03/03/2026: I highly recommend the spacious, bright rooms. This hotel is located in a strategic and quiet area, with a bus stop to Bologna city center right outside (bus number 90 during the week and bus number 36 on weekends). The hotel is extremely clean and offers all the comforts you could need. The only thing that could be improved is the restaurant and bar service.

02/03/2026: I stayed for 2 nights. Everything was fine, including breakfast. The only downside: the noisy rooms. I could hear my neighbors' conversations perfectly well, even if I didn't want to.

29/12/2025: I highly recommend it to everyone. I went there today for a sausage and potato piadina for €6.50. And for what it cost, it was very good. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the place inside is a little small but very nice. They also have a few tables outside. In my opinion, it's a great piadina place. I recommend everyone to go there.
