03/03/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Trattoria Da Gigio. The restaurant is very cozy, with a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. Everything felt authentic and prepared with care. The tiramisu was incredibly delicious — truly one of the best we’ve ever had.
We truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly return.

16/02/2026: A cozy restaurant with standard prices, good quality food, a slightly dim atmosphere (best visited in winter), the service was quick and the waiters were friendly, special mention to one of them who could speak English, French, Spanish (and Italian of course).
16/02/2026: Avoid it pasta of worst type with prosciutto cotto of worst quality sold has ham and literally 3 mushrooms in tagliatelle ...for 30 euros!!

19/02/2026: A romantic spot on the canal in San Polo with classic Venetian cuisine and excellent seafood, just a few minutes from the vaporetto and other great options for an aperitif and a drink afterward ;-)
For New Year's Eve, we had a (naturally) slightly more expensive menu, but all the dishes were excellent. A definite recommendation!

04/03/2026: The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old inn, in the best sense of the word, where you feel at home and immersed in the charm of days gone by. The food is very good. It's close enough to the Rialto Bridge but quiet enough to catch your breath while being pampered by the staff.
28/02/2026: The quality was commensurate with the price. The fish was cooked perfectly.
The staff was always attentive.

27/10/2025: In the somewhat secluded Rialto area, this small osteria is a pleasant surprise, serving traditional and non-traditional dishes, from appetizers to dessert. The atmosphere is intimate, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are moderate, with generous portions and excellent ingredients. Reservations are recommended. We'll be back.
27/10/2025: I've known this place for years, and every time I'm in Venice, I always try to return. I had the pleasure of bringing my colleagues last Friday, and we were all very satisfied. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was casual yet elegant. Roberto served us with reverence, entertaining us and making us have a great time. Thank you, and see you next time.

05/01/2026: They're understaffed!! We waited over 50 minutes! We were never served! We wasted a lot of time waiting to see the menu and it never arrived... When we left because we were never served, the waiter, who was the only one in the whole restaurant, said "what's up" and closed the door without apologizing... If you don't have enough staff because of the holidays, "as you say," then don't open the place.
We weren't the only ones who left without seeing the menu. We didn't even get the chance to eat because we were never served.
30/12/2025: Small and cozy restaurant with superb service and delicious food! Could definitely feel the warmth of the owner and server. Definitely recommend!

17/02/2026: If you come to Venice, stop by and stop at the Taverna al Remer restaurant, an elegant yet informal venue with dishes expertly prepared by Chef Giuliano and his staff.
The smiling, courteous, and professional wait staff welcomes you and looks after you throughout your stay, enjoying their delicious dishes accompanied by fine wine, excellent background music, and soft lighting that lends that touch of romance that is essential in a city like Venice.
And, no less importantly, the evocative view outside the restaurant of the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge.
An experience definitely worth repeating and one I highly recommend ☺️🌹

01/01/2026: My husband and I spent New Years Eve here and it was absolutely excellent. The service was amazing and every bite of food was divine. They didn’t rush us out, everyone was just an absolute pleasure and the owner was there and you can tell he really cares about his customers. 10/10 recommend for a romantic dinner out in Venice!
01/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner at Fiore in San Polo.... everything was perfect, exceptional food, and impeccable service with just the right amount of friendliness. Special mention for the manager's dazzling shoes in the blue suit...a familiar face to Venice's high society and the Venetian hinterland. Thanks, Damiano...if you're passing through Cazzago (I know you are), come visit me and we'll have a drink together.
