04/11/2025: Don't be put off by the multi language menus or heavy advertising, this is a gem of a restaurant with excellent food and great service. Not cheap but great value

30/10/2025: This is the second time in 2 years and I have to say that it confirms itself as an excellent restaurant.

30/11/2025: The best dishes of our stay, very tasty dishes, wine by the glass, excellent tiramisu and panna cotta, an address to remember.

29/11/2025: Good food, nice restaurant. We visited in late November and it was still fairly busy, reasonable value for money. The octopus main course was very good however we were a bit disappointed with the spaghetti and meat sauce due to the pasta being undercooked (as in it was still straight!) That said, it was only a couple of bits and overall the meal was nice. Good central location and close to some good bars for coffee or a beer afterwards. Tiramisu was great.

16/10/2025: Absolutely amazing! The service was wonderful, they checked in but did not harass, the back garden was just magical to sit in for dinner, and the food, unreal! We had the Greek salad to start and I am not a salad person, so flavourful I cleaned the bowl. Then I had the mama Rosa’s ravioli and my husband had the diavoli pizza, both incredible. To finish we had the berries and cream which was so rich and bright it was the best way to end the best meal. I was so full when I left but couldn’t stop eating since the flavours were so top tier. Highly recommend!

13/10/2025: Food/hospitality in Italy has not been good. This was an acception. The manager was very nice and friendly and even deboned my whole fish for me, which was the best fish I've had here and tasty. My husband got the meatballs, they were ok. The dried meat app was delicious. We found this place after taking a trip through the opera house next door which was cool. I think vino vino and the more expensive place next door have the same chef (same host) so we chose to eat here to try it out. I would not shy away from the more expensive restaurant next door either considering our good experience here. The patio area was cute and we were able to see it from inside the opera. We also got a bottle of wine which was the area the manager was from and he loves that...cananaua I believe - it had an interesting dry flavor with floral notes. Would recommend 👍🏼

15/11/2025: A truly memorable culinary experience in the heart of Venice, at a trattoria, after three days. Locals and tourists mingle here, the staff are equally friendly to everyone, and the food is exceptional... a Venetian-style cuttlefish with polenta, a pizza made with fresh ingredients, a daily tart, and a perfect homemade tiramisu... an address to know and remember, with reasonable prices: 68 euros for two people, including wine and water.

27/10/2025: In the somewhat secluded Rialto area, this small osteria is a pleasant surprise, serving traditional and non-traditional dishes, from appetizers to dessert. The atmosphere is intimate, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are moderate, with generous portions and excellent ingredients. Reservations are recommended. We'll be back.

27/10/2025: I've known this place for years, and every time I'm in Venice, I always try to return. I had the pleasure of bringing my colleagues last Friday, and we were all very satisfied. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was casual yet elegant. Roberto served us with reverence, entertaining us and making us have a great time. Thank you, and see you next time.

18/11/2025: Hospitality, expertise, excellent raw materials, at Camilla and Matteo you will find true Venetian cuisine far from tourist clichés. Unique furnishings, historic photographs, here everything speaks of family and culinary tradition. Attention to detail, friendliness in a timeless atmosphere... prices consistent with the very high raw materials. Try it and you will definitely return. One of the best restaurants in Venice

04/12/2025: I was just vibing Venice and decided to eat sth as beautiful as the city. Firstly, i was not sure about this restaurant but when i entered i felt the atmosphere. It was delicious food and drinks here. I definitely recommend here. Especially after a good city tour. Liza (the waitress) was so kind to us and she knows many languages. Thats why i felt like home. Thanks to this amazing restaurant and Liza to have a good experience in Venice !

12/11/2025: A quality restaurant! We went there after some research. The service, attention, and flavor were excellent. We left satisfied. We ordered the soft crab called moleche and the monkfish for our main course. The crab was especially delicious. We were very pleased with the service and atmosphere. Go with the understanding that the prices are a bit higher than usual. However, I think you'll be pleased. I recommend making a reservation.

27/10/2025: This is one of the quintessential restaurants in Venice! The food is traditionally venetian but subtle in preparation & presentation; the service is impeccable and yet personal and the atmosphere is intriguing, the dining room gives the cosy warmth of a private club. The menu shows much, much more I want to order than I could possibly eat in one (even two or three) evening(s). My wife and I had "Scampi rosolati al lardo" & "Baccalà mantecato", the we shared "Tagliolini scampi e radicchio rosso" and the "Tagliata di tonno" & "Coda di rospo su crema di broccoli" and "Zabaione" and every single dish was beyond compare. We are looking forward to our next visit to Venice and the food & hospitality of the "Osteria Da Fiore".

07/10/2025: We stopped here because we were looking for something close to the hotel. A success! We ordered an octopus dish with mashed potatoes, some spaghetti with seafood and some pachetti with octopus. Everything was delicious and with very generous portions. We will definitely repeat it again. I would recommend it to everyone with my eyes closed!

25/07/2025: Absolutely fantastic dining experience! The food was beyond amazing—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The waitstaff were exceptional: warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed from start to finish. Even better…. when they are Harley Davidson family. This place perfectly captures the charm and hospitality of Venice. We will definitely be returning!

22/07/2025: Mi marido y yo decidimos planificar un viaje a Italia a última hora basado en un viaje de trabajo. Como el destino quiso, íbamos a estar en Venecia para la Fiesta del Redentor, un gran festival anual veneciano que incluye un espectáculo de fuegos artificiales sobre la Piazza San Marco. Busqué un lugar que tuviera una bonita vista de la azotea de los fuegos artificiales, y La Caravella era muy recomendable. Muy poco después de hacer una reserva, el Dr. Marianna Serandrei (que es un miembro de la familia propietaria y administradora del restaurante desde 1963 , y del hotel Saturnia desde 1908) se comunicó para asegurarme de que tenía clara la cena y para asegurarme de que quería reservar un lugar para la azotea. Ella fue increíblemente paciente tratando con mi banco de los Estados Unidos y me ayudó a organizar todo. La noche del evento, cenamos a las 7 PM. La comida era INCREÍBLE, y el servicio era de primera. Mi esposo tenía un filete que era tan tierno, que dijo que podía cortarlo con un tenedor, y yo tenía el pescado del día que era delicado, sabroso y acompañado de ingredientes locales frescos. Porque los fuegos artificiales no comenzaron hasta las 11 aprox. 30 , tuvimos bastante tiempo entre que terminamos nuestra cena y cuando se abrió la azotea. El personal era servicial en darnos todas las pruebas necesarias que, de hecho, habíamos reservado un lugar para la azotea. Cuando llegamos a la azotea a las 10: 30 , pudimos conseguir un asiento con una bonita pareja de Chicago que amablemente accedió a compartir su mesa. Las bebidas estaban incluidas en la reserva de la azotea, el personal era amable y servicial y el espectáculo de fuegos artificiales desde la terraza de La Caravella no tenía igual. No puedo recomendar suficientemente esta institución familiar. La Caravella es una visita obligada.

21/10/2025: The waiters were very friendly, and the food was great. The atmosphere was good, except there was a very rowdy group, but I guess it was just a one-off. Between €20 and €30.

13/10/2025: In Murano, the service was excellent, even at the outdoor table despite the restaurant being packed. We chose traditional dishes, appetizers with creamed cod, sardines in saor, and seafood risotto. Everything was delicious and well-made. Congratulations also for your kindness.

28/11/2025: Very nice place, small but welcoming, shame about the food, I ordered spaghetti with clams and a grilled dish... the latter was good, nothing to say but the spaghetti had very few clams and above all inside I found a thread of metal sponge. I was promptly asked if I wanted a replacement but I was late and I couldn't accept... I ate a couple of forkfuls and they made me pay half the dish, but I would have preferred not to pay it having found this metal sponge inside.

26/11/2025: A very nice and cozy restaurant in a small corner in Venice. The squid ink pasta was absolutely amazing, seafood was fresh too! The host was super friendly and welcoming :) Highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice and want a more local food experience!

29/11/2025: The staff were as rude as can be, they looked at us askance because we had only had a coffee and even urged us to hurry up.

13/11/2025: We went for dinner based on a recommendation and reservation from the hotel upon arriving in Venice... But when we arrived and tried to tell the waiter we had a reservation, he rather curtly told us to wait and seated us at a table without giving us a chance to say anything. We ordered an appetizer, a couple of main courses, a dessert, wine, and water. The appetizer, although the cheeses were good, I was expecting something more elaborate than wedges of cheese on a tray with a little honey (the flavor was surprising; I'd never had it like that). The pasta was spectacular; the egg carbonara was amazing. The lasagna Bolognese was the best I'd ever tasted, perfectly al dente. Wonderful. The tiramisu was also very good. As for the wine, we wanted to order a rosé, but he said they didn't have that one and offered us another (red) from the same winery, €10 more expensive. And the water? Well, just a bottle of water, nothing more. Judging by the place's appearance, I expected something cheaper; in fact, the corner in the photos doesn't match the rest of the restaurant at all. Like I said, not much, but I expected something more affordable, even in Venice. I suppose you pay for being close to the hotel and being more or less central and by the river. The waiter (or owner) was super friendly from the start, making an effort to speak to us in Spanish, although halfway through dinner, we got the impression that he had a bit of a rough night and seemed a bit more distant/grudging. We think it was because closing time was approaching and the place was full. Out of ignorance, we left a very generous tip, and it seemed to cheer him up somewhat. Recommended with a reservation, knowing what you're going to order and pay. For us, ae caravte was ae clavada (a rip-off).
