06/07/2025: We had lunch at the Foyer des Guides on a beautiful summer day and were thrilled. The location is truly priceless: a postcard view of the mountains of Valtournenche that alone is worth the visit. The cuisine is authentic and tasty, I had tasty polenta concia and tagliatelle with venison ragù. Also ideal for families: outside there is a nice playground with ping pong and trampolines, where children can have fun safely while parents relax in the sun.

27/07/2025: The atmosphere is delightful, with well-spaced tables and not too noisy, perfect for a relaxing dinner. The food and wine were excellent, and we appreciated the vegetarian and vegan options. The service was courteous and discreet.

02/09/2025: Hands down the best place we dined in Aosta during our 10 day stay, and probably one of our top 10 in Italy, clocking at over 40 visits to this country this says something. The pasta dishes are absolutely delicious, try the pappardelle with boar or the whole wheat penne with baby spinach, cherry tomatoes and almonds....exquisite. The breaded T-Bone steak was probably one of most succulent pieces of meat I ever had, despite barely having any fat whatsoever, not to mention the tagliata. Service is informal but excellent, and the wine list is substantial, with plenty of options to choose from. All in all this was one of the most memorable places we dined at during our 10-day trip to Aosta Valley.

31/08/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance while looking for a place for dinner... from the outside, it looked like an ordinary place, but once we went down the stairs and entered the cellar, it revealed itself to be a truly unique restaurant! We ate wonderfully without overindulging, with refined and truly unique dishes, including excellent offerings on traditional Aosta Valley cuisine and a truly unparalleled selection of wines. The charming atmosphere and family management... a guarantee of exceptional kindness! Highly recommended for a special occasion.

06/07/2025: Searched on Google, driven by the more than positive reviews, we stopped for a lunch as a couple and I must say that expectations were not disappointed: excellent dishes cooked with quality ingredients, trained and friendly staff, attention to the customer and promptness in satisfying the different needs (for example, sharing a dish that arrives already plated separately, or bringing the meat with different cooking methods according to personal taste ...). Not least the location immersed in the greenery of a small village ... Highly recommended restaurant 😊

14/06/2025: When entering this classical Italian eatery to enjoy a Valdostano menu you feel like being transferred some fifty years back in time, not only by the interior decoration but also by the soft jazz being played over the loud speakers and the strict black and white outfit of your fun English speaking waitress. It was only the white apron that was missing. I had the best polenta ever and wines by the glass were excellent. Overall good value for money!

The pappardelle with hare ragù is excellent; the venison and other meats are delicious; the polenta concia is not only delicious but also very light; the desserts are also well-made. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a lovely family-friendly, Aosta Valley atmosphere.

27/08/2025: A must-visit for sampling traditional dishes and local produce from Chamois and the surrounding area. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Reservations are recommended.

27/08/2025: A very charming place, nestled in a breathtaking view. We ate outside, taking advantage of a beautiful day, and the atmosphere was truly special. We started with a platter of cured meats and cheeses for two: a great appetizer to share, especially if you appreciate aged cheeses and specialty cured meats. Next, we had two polenta concia dishes: one with sausage and cabbage, the other with venison. I personally don't like game, so I chose the sausage... too bad it was a bit cold and had more cabbage than meat. Overall, however, the dishes were tasty. With two beers and a water, the bill came to around €65, a fair price considering the quality and, above all, the beauty of the place. The staff is incredibly kind, truly appreciated. Overall, an experience worth trying, with a little room for improvement on my portion.

The warm and welcoming location exudes the authentic atmosphere of the Aosta Valley, while the cuisine is a triumph of authentic and refined flavors, showcasing local tradition. Each course was a discovery, accompanied by attentive, friendly, and always smiling service. From the dinner to the service, through to the enchanting setting, everything was perfect. A place that is more than just a restaurant, but a small journey into the truest Aosta Valley hospitality. We will gladly return.

The food was stunning - really well cooked traditional food- full of fantastic fresh flavours . Really fabulous. Great views from the restaurant and a lovely ambiance. 19/08/2025: I didn't stay at this hotel, but I had a pleasant time there. It's very welcoming and in a beautiful location, offering excellent local cuisine and friendly, efficient service. I'd just suggest the owners install a fan in the dining room, as it's a real shame to be enjoying excellent food and feeling so hot! The common areas are very well-kept and attractive, especially the downstairs room, which is very welcoming and overlooks a small garden with a hot tub. Its central location makes it easy to reach the lovely lake and surrounding lawn. Ideal for a relaxing holiday. Special thanks to the kind owner and the friendly and professional receptionist Carola. I will gladly return.
