Well yes, a very well-kept, clean place located in a strategic point of Orvieto, an essential menu but also excellent off-menu items which are TOLD and you can taste it from the words. The quality of the raw materials is excellent and the wine list is truly comprehensive. I will bring back great memories and I will definitely eat there again.

27/01/2025: Trattoria La Gallina Liberata of Narni is located in an alley near a viewpoint. Typical cuisine, in a simple and rustic restaurant. I started with grandfather Guido's bruschetta, liver and chicory pâté. Then I chose the Narnese gnocchi - slightly spicy - good and to conclude the wild boar stew with plums which has a taste with the right balance between the ferrousness of the meat and the sweetness of the plums. Dinner accompanied by a glass of red. As the menu title says, the atmosphere is homely with truly passionate service.

Lillero is certainly an obligatory stop if you pass through Terni.

Siamo stati accolti dal personale in modo molto cordiale e professionale, comportamento che è stato piacevolmente tenuto per tutto il pasto. Location interna minimal ma di gusto, spiazza in positivo il panorama. Il menù è tradizionale della cucina orvietana, strizzando l’occhio alla modernità e alla ricerca di sapori e contrapposizioni particolari. Io ho ordinato un tagliere di formaggi come antipasto, spiegati uno per uno dal cameriere; come primo gli Umbrichelli al vino rosso con sbriciolata di salsiccia e spolverata di cipolla umbra, eccellenti; come secondo il coniglio ripieno, porzione due fettine, ma di qualità imbattibile; dolce la panna cotta che ricorda i sapori di Pantelleria, contrapposizione dolce e salato che mi sognerò la notte. Il tutto accompagnato da vino che sposava ogni portata, anche per il dolce, ove il sommelier ha proposito un vino adattissimo. La sensazione è di stare in un ristorante d’alta cucina per qualità e menù ma in un posto accogliente quasi come casa, con prezzi accettabili senza doverci lasciare mezzo stipendio. Un’esperienza da rifare sicuramente, per assaggiare quei piatti che mi hanno incuriosito ma che umanamente non avrei potuto mangiare ulteriormente.

The taste of the most basic menu items, tomato bruschetta, truffle pasta, and tomato sauce pasta, was truly excellent. The steak was also great and it was the best restaurant in Italy. It was winter and we arrived before 1 o'clock so there was no waiting, but soon all the tables were occupied.

18/01/2025: desidero segnalare negativamente il trattamento per il conto avuto in occasione del pranzo con mia moglie il 15 gennaio u.s,. In concreto abbiamo ordinato 2 primi "primo alla rossi"e "primo tartufo"per un totale di 30 euro ed un 1 secondo "lombello" 12 euro . Qui cominciamo 1 carciofo alla romano 6 euro, mezzo litro della casa 5 euro, 3 biscotti(dico 3) 4 euro, 2 caffe 4 euro. poi abbiamo preso un dolce 6 euro e questo è regolare. Totale pagato 77 euro. per un pranzo fatto da 2 prini e un secondo , un carciofo e un dolce, ma pare eccessivo. IIL locale lo conosco da anni perchè frequento da un vita la zona della valnerina. Sono rimasto molto male.

Abbiamo mangiato benissimo: un antipasto diviso, due primi, secondo, contorno e dolce divisi. Totale 35 a persona. Attenzione per il senza glutine eccezionale, pane fatto in casa buonissimo, e umbrichelli fatti anche questi in casa pazzeschi!! Super consigliato

13/01/2025: Bad experience.. we booked at this restaurant for a Saturday lunch.. we arrive a quarter of an hour early and even before sitting down they tell us that the waiting times will be long... but we didn't think of wasting 3 hours in this restaurant for an appetizer and a first course… There are 4 of us and we choose this restaurant because they assure us that they cook typical fresh gluten-free pasta... we order a platter, artichokes and a first course each. The wait for the cutting board is about 1h30.. I don't know how long it takes to put slices of cured meats on a plate.. Then... the waitress arrives (1h30 after taking the order) saying that the fresh gluten-free pasta is finished... at that moment I wanted to get up and leave... due to the lack of seriousness in everything... Also because a lady next to me who had ordered after me receives the plate of fresh gluten-free pasta that I should have had. I order another dish... rigatoni. At a certain point we see the waitress entering and leaving the restaurant with a package of pasta in the bag and trying to hide it... at this point I think: "Was I supposed to bring my own pasta before?!" Never seen something like this... We continue to wait.. it's 3.25pm ​​and we decide that if the dishes don't arrive we'll leave.. two minutes later the dishes finally arrive!
