12/12/2025: We left Rome to visit Spoleto and were unfamiliar with this restaurant. We found it delightful, with an elegant yet welcoming and familiar atmosphere. Delicious dishes were served impeccably, and the service was impeccable in every way. The owner and staff were truly wonderful, friendly, and very professional. It's definitely worth a repeat visit to experience this wonderful experience!

02/11/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome and service. We were a group of 45 people on a pilgrimage.

30/10/2025: This is the second time I've stopped, but also the last time. The first time I had a first course with mushrooms, but I thought they were frozen and had a lot of salt. Today, a first course with truffles was all the rage on the plate, but it was meager, and then I asked if the truffle was grated, but it wasn't. Then he takes the orders and after two minutes brings me the first course, which was lukewarm. So don't be partial to customers, who, if they see a clerk in a jacket, throw a fit. I'll answer you below: no one sends me, and I won't send anyone to you, and I'm the one who won't stop anymore and would rather eat a sandwich at the vending machine further up. At least there's someone nicer and more cheerful. How can you not tell? And how come you understood that this isn't a nice review. Good luck.

10/10/2025: We came to this restaurant for dinner on the recommendation of our hotel, without a reservation. The owner welcomed us warmly and explained the food in detail while taking our orders. Excellent food in a quaint setting, a truly beautiful wine cellar. A must-try if you're in Spoleto. Well done, Francesca, keep up the good work, with your lively charm and kindness. We'll definitely come back to visit you if we ever return to Spoleto.

10/11/2025: Beautiful tavern, warm and quaint atmosphere. Excellent service, tasty vegan dishes. Pet-friendly (we were comfortable with our large Cane Corso puppy). Fair price. Worth considering when visiting the city if you're vegan.

23/10/2025: During a visit to Spoleto, we were fortunate enough to visit Ristorante Apollinare. I won't deny that our expectations were high, and I won't deny that they were met. As soon as we entered, we were greeted—literally, like I hadn't been in a long time—by the very knowledgeable and courteous wait staff, who seated us and even helped us put away our outerwear. Let's get to the point, because the place we entered wasn't just a restaurant, but the starting point for a sensory journey. Rarely have I found a place where passion for cooking translates into such simple yet surprising dishes. The absolute highlight is the quality of the food, which to call "excellent" is an understatement. Each course is a celebration of the raw ingredients with sublime preparation. My favorite dish was the tagliatella al tartufo, a simple homemade tagliatella made with just egg yolks and creamed with salted butter and truffle (I hope I didn't miss a thing from Marco's presentation of the dish), a true feast for the taste buds. The service, as mentioned, was attentive yet discreet, with the wait staff explaining the dishes with genuine knowledge and pride. The elegant yet understated atmosphere creates the ideal setting to fully enjoy their creations. If you're looking for a culinary experience that will leave you with memories of authentic flavors, excellent ingredients, and a kitchen that dares to be bold yet respects tradition, APOLLINARE is the place to be. 07/12/2025: A great find in Spoleto, excellent food, adequate portions. Fast and courteous service. Nice atmosphere and background music. If I could offer one suggestion that doesn't alter my excellent rating, it would be to change the tablecloth material.

16/11/2025: We preferred it because it's a little further away from the city center. We ate very well. The pappardelle with white wild boar ragù was delicious! Also recommended for the kindness of the owners. Excellent value for money.

12/11/2025: Okay, the set menu is fine, but it would be better to know what's on offer. €27 excluding drinks for nothing: an appetizer of two slices of capocollo, a small plate of beans, and a sausage; a first course to share; and two pieces of pork ribs for the main course. I'd say no!

03/11/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday, November 2nd. The restaurant was full, so we ate outside. Luckily, a table became available almost immediately, and the kind waiter seated us right away. We chose the daily set menu for €25, a mix of appetizers, a choice of three main courses, and a dessert, with drinks included. Everything was good, I recommend it.

02/11/2025: Birthday Dinner for 4 in this lovely restaurant, local meats & cheese, pastas dishes of course Strangozzi with truffles and wine. Beautiful Interior painted walls, multiple dining areas, excellent service by Luigi and his family.
