10/10/2025: Cozy and elegant restaurant. Must book a reservation ahead of time! Soup of the house (zuppa di casa) - vegeterian with lentes, beans, garbanzo seeds, groats - excellent!! Very good courses - traditional pasta with truffle (mushroom) and traditional pasta with tomato and basil. Excellent local sagrantino wine (2020). Grilled vegetables - not in the league of other courses.

29/09/2025: This is by far one of the best restaurants that I've been to so far on my trip. It is a hidden gem. Think you should make reservations. A must in Spoleto

10/10/2025: We came to this restaurant for dinner on the recommendation of our hotel, without a reservation. The owner welcomed us warmly and explained the food in detail while taking our orders. Excellent food in a quaint setting, a truly beautiful wine cellar. A must-try if you're in Spoleto. Well done, Francesca, keep up the good work, with your lively charm and kindness. We'll definitely come back to visit you if we ever return to Spoleto.

30/10/2025: This is the second time I've stopped, but also the last time. The first time I had a first course with mushrooms, but I thought they were frozen and had a lot of salt. Today, a first course with truffles was all the rage on the plate, but it was meager, and then I asked if the truffle was grated, but it wasn't. Then he takes the orders and after two minutes brings me the first course, which was lukewarm. So don't be partial to customers, who, if they see a clerk in a jacket, throw a fit. I'll answer you below: no one sends me, and I won't send anyone to you, and I'm the one who won't stop anymore and would rather eat a sandwich at the vending machine further up. At least there's someone nicer and more cheerful. How can you not tell? And how come you understood that this isn't a nice review. Good luck.

16/11/2025: We preferred it because it's a little further away from the city center. We ate very well. The pappardelle with white wild boar ragù was delicious! Also recommended for the kindness of the owners. Excellent value for money.

23/10/2025: During a visit to Spoleto, we were fortunate enough to visit Ristorante Apollinare. I won't deny that our expectations were high, and I won't deny that they were met. As soon as we entered, we were greeted—literally, like I hadn't been in a long time—by the very knowledgeable and courteous wait staff, who seated us and even helped us put away our outerwear. Let's get to the point, because the place we entered wasn't just a restaurant, but the starting point for a sensory journey. Rarely have I found a place where passion for cooking translates into such simple yet surprising dishes. The absolute highlight is the quality of the food, which to call "excellent" is an understatement. Each course is a celebration of the raw ingredients with sublime preparation. My favorite dish was the tagliatella al tartufo, a simple homemade tagliatella made with just egg yolks and creamed with salted butter and truffle (I hope I didn't miss a thing from Marco's presentation of the dish), a true feast for the taste buds. The service, as mentioned, was attentive yet discreet, with the wait staff explaining the dishes with genuine knowledge and pride. The elegant yet understated atmosphere creates the ideal setting to fully enjoy their creations. If you're looking for a culinary experience that will leave you with memories of authentic flavors, excellent ingredients, and a kitchen that dares to be bold yet respects tradition, APOLLINARE is the place to be. 01/11/2025: I don't like to write negative reviews, unfortunately when it can't be avoided... we were at Pini yesterday, convinced that the food was still good, unfortunately with my great regret since I live in Rome, it's no longer like that!! no appetizer, they only serve cold cuts, ok, fine, it's their policy and I settled for the first course, stringozzi alla spoletina with asparagus, my companion had fettuccine, the dish of the house... given that the pasta was good, shame about the sauces, the fettuccine pasticciata is fine but the stringozzo is not, the sauce was almost raw and only the stems of asparagus, moral of the story I didn't eat it... second course, straccetti with rocket, tough meat, overcooked with a mountain of chopped rocket, a terrible thing... the icing on the cake was the waiter, I ask him for parmesan and he tells me that parmesan doesn't go on stringozzi, ok xo a I like it and you can't say that a person doesn't understand if they have different tastes.... obviously I replied that not everyone can be a scientist like him and in any case he didn't give up, when he saw that they were shooting me he acted vague.... I got up from the table because I was hungry!! Learn some manners and how to cook the sauce and don't give the scraps to those who come from outside!! I've been frequenting Spoleto for more than 30 years!!! I don't recommend it

16/10/2025: Dinner walk-in, creative menu presentation-look like tarot cards in a case with each dish and description featured. Had the flavorful stuffed squash blossoms and tagliatelle with asparagus, with 1/2 liter of wine. Service was bustling and excellent, all tables served by the owner and staff member. I always forget to go to the cash register when finished vs payment machine brought to the table. Have to add the interior neon lighting was annoying.

15/10/2025: Beautiful, slightly unusual place: The table, chairs, and glasses are all different in color, shape, and material. The menu is a tarot deck, with each card describing the dish on one side and a caricature of it on the other. The business card is a 1000-lire banknote. We shared a platter for two; it was plentiful, varied, and delicious. We also tried the parmigiana, which was very good, as was the house wine. Very cheap.

19/06/2025: Ristorante da 10 e lode per qualità e atmosfera, tutto perfetto dal servizio, impeccabile, alla qualità dei piatti locali, alla suggestione del giardino interno. Merita il massimo dei voti!

12/11/2025: Okay, the set menu is fine, but it would be better to know what's on offer. €27 excluding drinks for nothing: an appetizer of two slices of capocollo, a small plate of beans, and a sausage; a first course to share; and two pieces of pork ribs for the main course. I'd say no!

03/11/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday, November 2nd. The restaurant was full, so we ate outside. Luckily, a table became available almost immediately, and the kind waiter seated us right away. We chose the daily set menu for €25, a mix of appetizers, a choice of three main courses, and a dessert, with drinks included. Everything was good, I recommend it.

02/11/2025: Birthday Dinner for 4 in this lovely restaurant, local meats & cheese, pastas dishes of course Strangozzi with truffles and wine. Beautiful Interior painted walls, multiple dining areas, excellent service by Luigi and his family.
