08/04/2026: I think it's the best restaurant in Spoleto. Excellent and proactive service, quality food, an excellent wine list, and fair prices. The only downside is the space, but that's inevitable given the type of location.

The location, menu, and staff are carefully crafted and attentive, without compromising on authenticity and kindness. All the most beloved and renowned Umbrian dishes are prepared with respect, without trendy overtones, yet with an attention to flavor and balance that is hard to find these days. Highly recommended.

06/04/2026: If you're looking for a place to feel pampered, this is the place. Last night with friends, we enjoyed a private room and impeccable service. The cuisine is a journey of flavors, and the table management was masterful, with complimentary samples for those who hadn't ordered a course so no one was left to watch others eat. Everything, from the table setting to the final bill, was perfect. A truly fair value for money.
06/04/2026: We visited this restaurant on Easter Sunday with six friends, and the experience was simply extraordinary.
To say it deserves five stars is an understatement: the dinner far exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail, making us feel truly welcomed.
One aspect we particularly appreciated was the attention to detail: even those who hadn't ordered certain dishes were able to sample them, thanks to small and very welcome gifts from the kitchen.
And then the food: simply delicious, carefully prepared, and of the highest quality.
All this was accompanied by a more than fair price, absolutely in keeping with the experience.
Without a doubt, an experience worth repeating!

15/03/2026: Magnificent location and a relaxed atmosphere, perhaps even too relaxed... We appreciated the tranquility of the place, but the wait for dessert was biblical. If the intent was to promote extreme slow food, they achieved their goal! ;-) Jokes aside, a little more attention to service timing would make the experience perfect! To be honest, the place was packed, making it difficult to keep track of everything. The dishes were extremely carefully crafted and unique, though it's a shame about the pre-packaged gluten-free sandwich. This is still high-end dining, so the price is affected, but it's absolutely in line with the quality and attention to detail. We'll definitely be back.

10/04/2026: Had lunch last week during a business trip. The atmosphere is very unique and trendy. Traditional local cuisine, with a twist, is also offered; the quality is good and the portions are generous. The price is reasonable (even affordable compared to Milanese standards).

The owner entertains guests with entertaining stories, creating a lovely atmosphere. The madman will even choose the order of the courses. We finished with delicious homemade pasta! Definitely worth a try!
06/04/2026: Unique. Good, simple food. The wait between servings is considerable. The surprise menu option is a nice touch, but the dishes aren't at all generous; they're more like small bites. And you'll go hungry between each bite. The atmosphere is beautiful and original.

06/04/2026: Dinner at La Barcaccia was simply delightful.
The staff were exceptionally kind, and the service was quick and impeccable (which is far from a given, especially with a child). But the real surprise was the attention paid to our son: he was treated with incredible care, and, to top it all, they didn't even charge for his meal. A gesture that speaks volumes today.
As for the food, the strangozzi alla spoletina with asparagus were simply Oscar-worthy. Dishes were well-made, flavorful, and authentic.
A place where you eat well, but above all, you feel truly welcomed. We'll definitely be back.

The owner had a kind word for everyone present, even accommodating those who hadn't made reservations. The kindness and honesty shown toward tourists, which are never taken for granted, made our Easter even more special. I recommend it!

11/04/2026: Terrible restaurant in every way. Tables practically crowded together, too crowded. I hate dining next to strangers, especially if they're as rude as we were... but the most unnerving thing is the food and the service. They brought a slice of bread with a strange sauce without asking, so I asked what it was and the answer was "Tuscan meat." I tasted it and literally felt like vomiting. It was liver with a very strong flavor, inedible! Saying it was liver, was it too expensive??? I have the right to know what I'm eating!!! The first course arrived, pappardelle with prawns and asparagus, a completely unseasoned dish with the asparagus literally tough and woody. I had to add oil twice to eat the pasta, the whole thing was completely disjointed and tasteless. For the second course, we had pistachio salmon, which was a shame it was SPOILED. It stank terribly, and the water around it said it all. What can I say...they didn't even bother to apologize, and that makes me even more infuriating! It's been years since I've eaten so badly at a restaurant. Never again!
