26/08/2025: Living in Pitigliano, I know the restaurant, which has been open for 20 years now, and every time I come, I'm always amazed by the quality of the dishes and the truly excellent, warm, professional, and never-intrusive service, both from the waiters and the very kind owners. If you're looking for traditional dishes, but also revisited and prepared in the finest possible way, you're in the right place. The Pan Brioche with liver pâté, truffle, and fig jam was exceptional (the best liver pâté I've had in Tuscany, where it's typical), the ignudi with truffle were made to perfection, not to mention the desserts and the truly impressive wine list. Last but not least, the location in the Piazza del Duomo, which remains intimate and very evocative, and the decor, which is elegant and understated. The prices are in line with everything offered. Undoubtedly the best restaurant in Pitigliano!

01/08/2025: Our overall experience at this place was very good. The ingredients were excellent; we ordered a tagliata, the loin, and two side dishes. A special mention goes to the roasted mashed potatoes, delicious! The place is very beautiful and charming, easy to find, even for those of us who weren't from the area. The bill was fair. The waiters were very friendly, except for one bald man who was quite rude and aloof both when taking our order and when giving us the bill. Fortunately, his attitude didn't detract from our evening. Overall, it's an excellent place that I would recommend!

01/08/2025: Whoever comes, an excellent restaurant with a large selection of local and imported meat, an extensive wine menu with good prices, excellent service, great atmosphere. Also suitable for families with children. There is ample parking nearby, recommended!

31/08/2025: The restaurant is in a horrible location, tucked into a narrow alley, with bird droppings on the table. We ate a skimpy cockerel with four pieces of potato for an exorbitant €20, and two fairly decent pici with ragù.

12/08/2025: The food was very good, the place and atmosphere were very nice, but it was a shame about the service and the €4.50 cover charge per person. It was full of pots and pans.

16/05/2025: Fui pelas avaliações que vi aqui, mas me surpreendi negativamente. O garçom é rude e te trata diferente se você não é italiano. Tentei pedir uma sobremesa por várias vezes e ele passava por nós e ignorava… quando enfim pedimos a conta, ele quis tirar o pedido da sobremesa e como percebeu a insatisfação, trouxe de “presente” um bolo velho. Sobre a comida, é simples e não tem nada de especial. Razoável.

16/07/2025: The only restaurant, bar, etc. in the town of Monte Pescali. Overall, the food is good, and the staff are friendly. Parking is a bit difficult 200 meters away due to the steep road.

14/07/2025: I last went before Covid when it was just down the road. But the pizzas and pasta did not disappoint. A 4 cheeses pizza was lovely and others enjoyed wild pug ragu with papadelle.

27/06/2025: We ate here four times during our stay in Sassofortino because we loved everything about this restaurant. Fresh, local ingredients are transformed into magical Italian dishes with rustic charm. I couldn't even say what I liked best, as everything was excellent across the board. Coupled with impeccable and attentive service, it brought a smile to my face. Thank you so much for this experience.

21/08/2025: The pici all'aglione were delicious. We didn't order a main course, just a side dish of chicory and beans with onion, both excellent. The mascarpone with amaretti biscuits dessert is a must. The price is right. If this restaurant were closer to home, I'd definitely be a regular. The staff was very kind and attentive. 29/08/2025: We were a little hesitant because we hadn't seen the menu outside...we went in and had a great time!! Excellent baked pecorino with walnuts and honey, handmade pici with Tuscan ragù, and exceptional stuffed tortelli! Excellent wine by the glass, and a special highlight for us was the lady who manages the tables, kind and very helpful. Highly recommended. Thank you!! Maria.

01/09/2025: Very nice and touristy atmosphere, service with friendly waitresses but unfortunately we didn't eat well... pappardelle with wild boar, besides being too al dente and stuck together, the sauce was really dry and tasteless. We expected something excellent given the exorbitant prices they have but seriously we were so disappointed that we got up and left. We are used to traveling and tasting local cuisine but unfortunately this one didn't convince us at all.
