26/02/2025: We stopped for lunch inside the restaurant, it was cool even though it was towards the entrance. The quality is truly excellent, the ingredients are good and fresh, the service is adequate. Overall we had a good time and will return.

20/01/2025: Chiamati dalla preziosa città di Assisi, abbiamo conosciuto questo ristorante e abbiamo deciso di vedere di cosa si tratta. La verità è che è un acciaio, c'è un prezzo molto onesto. Amplio locale; personale cordiale e attento; Varietà di piatti sabrosos preparati con prodotti locali di prima qualità, oltre a piatti deliziosi. Molto consigliato.
24/11/2024: La Fortezza is a restaurant located within the walls of the beautiful historic center of Castiglione della Pescaia. The food is of excellent quality, the menu card allows a wide choice of dishes. The staff is professional and kind. I really appreciated the waiter's gesture in bringing a bowl of fresh water to my dog. Highly recommend, good value for money.

19/03/2025: Typical Maremma trattoria for 3 generations. Located a few kilometers from Capalbio, towards the hinterland, it presents itself as a very simple and rustic structure which at first glance may seem anonymous, but once you cross the threshold you lose this sensation. Friendly, smiling welcome. The real discovery, however, is the menu, made from typical Maremma cuisine, made of fresh products from the neighboring area. Typical appetizers, first courses made with homemade pasta and seasoned with tasty and delicious sauces. The strength of the place is the wood embers which, used with wisdom and with the use of meats from both national and foreign sources, are presented at the table with soapstone to finish cooking as one wishes. (Respectable maturation and marbling). Finally, the desserts, also home made, conclude the evening pleasantly. Honest account that reflects the use of quality raw materials.

12/02/2025: Two stars because, although the price per kilo of meat was shown on the menu, it is intolerable to pay 91 euros for a Florentine steak and 55 euros for a rib-eye, when bone and fat make up the majority of the weight of the food. Starters paid handsomely (18 euros), sorry to say, but truly miserable: four very thin slices of salami, equally of ham, equally of loin. Frankly a stingy cutting board. Euro 480 for six, leaving with still a large appetite.

10/12/2024: My first time in Capalbio, and I relied on Google and its reviews. I have to say I have rarely been better in a restaurant. First of all, it must be said that at dinner they are organized in two shifts. However, I suggest booking the first shift and arriving 5 minutes early (with all due respect to latecomers). Arriving first, we were welcomed and served promptly and promptly. Among the starters I would like to point out the smoked beef carpaccio, light and stimulating. Then we tried the Zuppa Tullio, a house specialty suitable for the autumn climate, which enchanted us. The second most intriguing is the grilled suckling pig, which we tried with battered and fried porcini mushrooms. Excellent combination. For dessert I tried the Tullio ice cream, which combines the aromas of Sage and Morellino. Everything was spectacular and I confess that throughout the dinner I tried things I had never tasted before (and I'm a man of the world). In conclusion, the bill was fair and partly facilitated by the agreement with our hotel, which gave us a 10% discount. Not only do I recommend it but I plan to return to try the rest of the menu: 5 stars absolutely deserved.

31/12/2024: We had lunch today in this restaurant, the starters were excellent: crostone with lard, melted pecorino with honey, pears and walnuts. The chestnut tagliatelle with white pork ragù are amazing. The drunken rabbit is excellent. The lady who served us was very kind. We will definitely be back.

24/02/2025: There were four of us last night, excellent Maremma dishes for those who want to take a genuine dive into the heart of Grosseto cuisine. A trattoria with personality, delicious pasta, both the pappardelle and the tortelli, the memorable wild boar. Menu spoken verbally, limited choice of dishes, but it is synonymous with quality and freshness.

Nei piatti abbiamo trovato eccellente qualità della materia prima, sapientemente trattata, rispettando i sapori della tradizione che il menù propone. Servizio attento e professionale. Carta dei vini molto ampia con un importante scelta di annata. Sicuramente ritorneremo se faremo nuovamente tappa a Pitigliano.
