The owner with his family brought a table and provided us with an amazing dining experience. The best thing about the restaurant? Service! They were amazing.

09/08/2024: A restaurant that has been frequented for some time now and I have always appreciated the level of service including the precious presence of the reception which offers assistance during the booking phase and entrance to the restaurant without distracting the dining room staff. The dishes based on fish and meat specialties from the Maremma are a delicacy. Another important aspect is that it is a structure organized to serve gluten-free dishes and people with celiac disease can enjoy delicious dishes. Preparation is necessary and I inform you that the restaurant, being inside the castle walls, can only be reached on foot. I recommend comfortable shoes for ladies.

08/08/2024: Excellent experience! We stopped on the way back from the natural waterfalls of Saturnia inspired by the warm atmosphere outside. A pleasant surprise inside both for the whole environment and for the menu. Fresh first courses prepared with great skill and delicious, excellent choice of local meats. All the very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff make you feel at ease as if you were at home, in particular Mirna's warm personality who recommended the best dishes and offered us an excellent wine. Excellent price quality.

17/08/2024: Thickly cut cold cuts, I ask for advice on a wine to pair with and, I think, the owner doesn't even know how to advise me, in fact he makes me feel uncomfortable. The shank very dry with vegetables too large and thick. The dessert and the service of the elderly lady are impeccable. Good account.

30/08/2024: Spectacular! The pici absolutely must be tried both in the Tuscan version and in the cacio e pepe version revisited in a sublime way! The pasta is homemade and you can taste it! The cut is very tender and the vegetables deserve a taste for their delicacy. If you want to try the dishes of the day, you can't go wrong there either. Next time I will also try the desserts because I will certainly return. I came back and the desserts are also excellent.

28/08/2024: We ordered an aperitif plate of cured meats and cheeses for two, and 20 MINUTES passed after ordering before it arrived. The cost is €8, now I wasn't expecting who knows what but €8 and they bring me ONE slice of raw ham and ONE slice of another cold cut, 3 very small pieces of cheese with two croutons (one of which with chicken livers which in my opinion we need to ask if they can like it or not since it is a particular thing) and did it take 20 minutes to prepare this dish? It seems a bit much to me, without even bringing two saucers. Moving on to the first ones, they also arrived after 20/25 minutes of waiting. I didn't like the good tortelloni, the hemp and ricotta pici, perhaps due to my personal taste. We drank 2 glasses of prosecco and 2 of red. The price of the glasses is not marked on the menu when, in fact, it should be so that the customer can decide whether to want it or not based also on the price. Maybe it's because I'm Venetian, but a glass of prosecco for €7 is EXAGERATION.

17/06/2024: Cucina ottima, qualità delle materie prime molto superiore, e si sente. Il conto va di conseguenza, non popolare. Ambiente raffinato ricavato in stabile con distribuzione delle stanze come in origine, curioso ma apprezzato anche questo.

18/08/2024: First time in Capalbio. They recommended this restaurant to us on our way back to Rome, we couldn't have made a better choice. For the first time I ate the pappardelle with SPAZIALI wild boar ragù, then a beef fillet with porcini mushrooms (I don't like mushrooms but I really ate these with gusto) with a side dish of baked potatoes and artichokes, all very tender and really good, not to mention the village, really enchanting. Friendly and helpful staff, impeccable service. What can I say, 10/10!!! We will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

22/08/2024: Excellent pizza, meat and first courses. Typical Tuscan restaurant in a splendid village worth visiting. The road to the town is very narrow and uphill, but on the way back the road is much easier. Recommended for meat, be patient with the wait.

Piatti abbondanti ma senza infamia ne lode, affettati nella media, niente di eccezionale . Prezzo giusto!In generale non abbiamo trovato l’empatia descritta nelle recensioni precedenti . Il servizio poco attento .. peccato !

Ci ha fatto sentire a casa ! Il cibo di ottima qualità , piatti abbondanti e curati nella presentazione, il tutto a prezzi contenuti . Ci tornerò sicuramente!
