18/01/2026: Excellent experience. We loved everything about it, from the venue to the food, and the service.
The atmosphere is typical of a tavern, as it should be.
The wine selection is beautiful and vast; we didn't try the spirits, but we noticed a few very good bottles.
There were four of us and we wanted to try everything: mixed appetizers, typical Maremma first courses (the tagliolini with truffle and venison prague were exquisite), Florentine steak for the main course, side dishes, and desserts.
Everything was perfect, the price was in line with the quantity and quality of the food.
I absolutely recommend it ;)
12/12/2025: A very intimate and welcoming place, with a roaring fireplace, tasty and well-stocked dishes, helpful and friendly staff, and a friendly and approachable owner. Excellent value for money.

The atmosphere was well-maintained, clean, and spacious.
The price was reasonable for the quality of the dishes and the overall service.

The waitress is always kind and ready to accommodate your every need.

05/01/2026: A truly pleasant dining experience! Excellent service, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff. The place was very welcoming, and the food, from appetizer to dessert, was excellent, with balanced flavors that were never overwhelming.
I'm not a wine expert, so I left the selection to the waitress, but I must say the fruity red was delicious! The quality/price ratio was absolutely right. I highly recommend this experience. Thanks to all the staff.

02/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant a month ago. The atmosphere was lovely. The menu was extensive and appealing. The tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and the wild boar cacciatore were very good. The desserts were also delicious, all homemade. The service was a little disorganized, but that's okay!

Excellent restaurant within the walls of Castiglione.
We didn't have a reservation, but the wait for a table was worth it with the food.
The first courses were excellent, but the Fiorentina steak was the best.
Cooked to perfection and served at the table.
I can only recommend it for a fantastic experience I had a few months ago.
30/12/2025: I've been coming here for four years and I give 5 stars to the waiters, 5 stars to the place (which I think is one of the nicest there is), 5 stars to the owner, who I've always had a great experience with.
It's a shame I can only give 5 stars and not more.
The best restaurant I've ever eaten at, both for the gluten-free option and the classic option. Everything is fresh and excellent.
