02/08/2024: Had a great dinner at this farmhouse. To reach it the road is dirt for a stretch, but passable by car. Fixed menu with excellent typical Sardinian dishes at 0 km. Everything made and produced by them. Arrive there with an empty stomach because the portions are generous and if you want they'll make you do an encore. Impeccable and fast service. The price compared to the quality, quantity and goodness of the food is fair. Highly recommended!

11/08/2024: We went to Barumini to visit the Nuragic city and obviously with two hungry and hot children given the period, we immediately headed to the restaurant just a stone's throw away. We were immediately struck by the professionalism of the staff (to be praised and cherished), not to mention the well-recommended courses... well-treated local delicacies. Restaurant 🔝

23/08/2024: Despite the beautiful and unique decor of this restaurant, our experience was unfortunately far from positive. The service left a lot to be desired; we had to wave several times to get the attention of the staff. Drinks were only served after we explicitly asked for them. The food was downright bad. We are not even particularly critical, but the meat we ordered was inedible. We ordered beef and the waiter didn't even ask how we wanted it cooked. When we brought it up we were told that all meats are cooked medium by default unless otherwise stated….? Unfortunately, the meat tasted like rubber and it was impossible to cut it properly, let alone eat it. We ended up leaving our plates untouched. This was a very disappointing experience and we expected much more given the lovely ambiance of the restaurant. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it.

24/08/2024: Excellent quality food, good variety from starter to main course. The ravioli didn't excite me, while the gnocchi and the Gallura soup were exceptional. Good suckling pig, the meat was soft (not in all pieces) and the skin was very crunchy. Sausage a little dry. The service was impeccable, I underline the "all-round" friendliness and precision of the waiter, and the speed that allowed us to finish the complete meal in about 1 hour Overall a very pleasant Sardinian dinner.

22/08/2024: Beautiful location where it is possible to eat both outside under the large trees and inside in the large rooms. The starters are truly rich and original. The traditional first courses and the expertly roasted meats are excellent. Very kind, fast and attentive staff. frequent!

22/08/2024: Good morning. Nothing to say about the location of the place. The road to get there has been like this for years. As for dinner, pane frattau is definitely made much earlier as it is served immediately. It was only saved for the sauce and cheese. Mixed roast worth reviewing because the veal was not very chewy and the pork seemed boiled rather than roasted. I say this because I'm from the area. Furthermore, the menu is difficult to understand not due to the fact that it is written in English regarding the composition of the dishes but due to the fact that, if a dish includes at least two people, the price should be written in total for two people. I've been many other times for lunch and there is a noticeable difference with dinner. Nothing to say about the staff. I will only go back for lunch.

25/08/2024: I had dinner at the Ulivi with a group of friends and unfortunately the experience was not the best. I have been coming to this part of Sardinia every year for at least twenty years and no Sardinian dinner I have taken part in has been of such a low standard. These were the following courses. Starters: fried (courgettes, peppers, aubergines), various cured meats and cheeses, caponata, a sort of local cheese/ricotta First courses: malloreddu and ravioli (with ricotta and saffron filling) Second course: suckling pig with potatoes and sheep Desserts: seadas, panna cotta, chocolate cake. Let's start with the fried foods: bland, inside (courgettes, aubergines and peppers) raw not to mention CRISPY and doughy breading. Tasteless and mostly raw caponata. Local cheese too "acidic". Plate of cold cuts and cheeses acceptable in taste but not in quantity. First courses: the saddest malloreddu in history. Cold, pale, tasteless, with inedible sausage and watery gravy. Cold and poorly cooked (raw) ravioli, filled with ricotta and saffron, savage in taste. Second: suckling pig. Without praise and without infamy. Back of salt and springs in the outermost parts where greater crunchiness would be appreciated. Overall some pieces were edible (it's still pork) others were RAW. I forgot the potatoes for the suckling pig...maybe it's for the best. Desserts: RAW Seadas (but how is it made?) and I won't say anything else. Rock hard chocolate cake. The Crème caramel was (perhaps) passable, even if I don't understand the double handful of unnecessary almonds to garnish everything. Total cost €40 per person. I hadn't been to this place for years but comforted by new positive reviews I wanted to try it again. I would say that sometimes it's better not to backtrack. I close with a classic. “I didn't give zero stars just because there wasn't the option to do so.”

20/08/2024: We had a great time. The starters and second courses were excellent (only because we didn't eat the first courses). The perfect service, the owner even offered to accompany us to the car if it rained.. 😊

15/08/2024: Gentilezza e preparazione del personale molto gradite, qualità e presentazione dei piatti molto elevate, sapori eccellenti e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Il luogo è piacevole, all'interno di una corte con porticato e giardino, l'unica pecca è che d'estate sia molto caldo e asfittico ma pazienza, ne val la pena!
