09/01/2026: I've been a regular at this restaurant for years. The food is always plentiful and excellent, with a wide variety of choices, including both seafood and meat dishes. The selection of local products and wines is also excellent. Perfect for lunches or dinners with family, friends, or for work. The staff is incredibly friendly; you always feel at home. Highly recommended!

02/10/2025: We stayed at the campsite for a few days at the beginning of September. The owner manages it with sensational calm and uncomplicatedness. The pitches are fantastic. Large, gravelled pitch with its own (additional) covered terrace (including a table, chairs, and loungers) and a private bathroom. Sensational. The campsite isn't directly on the beach, but it's easily accessible. A white sandy beach with crystal-clear water at Cala Sizias. The only drawback at the campsite were the wasps. Eating outside was impossible. We were attacked by an invasion of at least 20 wasps. Otherwise, a top-notch spot.

28/02/2026: Our absolute favorite hotel! In 2021 (post-Covid), we booked a night at this unique property to treat ourselves. We loved it so much, we extended our stay that evening. Everything, every service, every dinner deserves more than 5 stars!

The food is one of the hotel's true strengths: excellent dishes, prepared with great attention to quality and showcasing local flavors without sacrificing creativity. Even those with special dietary needs will always find tasty and carefully prepared options. The staff is friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast is also excellent, varied and plentiful, with both sweet and savory options. Breakfast overlooking the pool is worth the price of admission. The location is perfect for those who want to experience authentic Sardinia, amidst nature, traditions, and fascinating archaeological sites such as the Nuragic village of Tiscali, which is definitely worth a guided tour. It's a place that manages to combine tranquility, beauty, and culture, truly leaving you wanting to return, perhaps staying a few more days to savor it all.

01/04/2026: Luckily we decided to stop here before leaving Castelsardo. We had the fregola del mare, which was excellent—very flavourful, with perfectly cooked pasta. The staff were friendly, and the house wine was amazing.

31/03/2026: I'll tell you, if you're looking for a quick bite to eat with a decent view of the sea, I'd have thought it would be worse; the kindness and speed of the service do the rest; the price is reasonable, I'd say without any surprises, the menu is quite varied, even the pizzeria; well done.

08/04/2026: Tourist trap. Do not recommend. One of the worst seafood experiences I’ve ever had. The starters tasted like straight-up canned food and were served cold. The pastas were okay at best. The portions were unnecessarily large, yet the actual seafood content was disappointing. If you’re advertising seafood pasta, maybe emphasize the seafood instead of drowning it in pasta. The shrimps were fresh, but the flavor was mediocre. The fish was severely overcooked—a total waste of what could have been a good product. Overall, this place delivers large portions, however lacks finishing which would be expected for a seafood restaurant (not to say high ranked one), low value for money.

27/10/2025: Cucumiao is the best of the three restaurants we visited in and around Palau. It's true that the menu, with its ten pages, can be daunting and make you wonder about the freshness of the dishes, but we tried several dishes and everything was perfect. I recommend the typical pane frattau dish, which is simply excellent.

01/03/2026: A great hotel in the city center. The hotel's location is excellent. The rooms are clean and spacious, cleaned daily – I especially recommend the family room with two bathrooms. Breakfast is typical Italian, with a sweet selection of cakes and croissants, and the coffee is excellent. The service at the reception and in the restaurant is friendly.

28/03/2026: We stayed at this wonderful agriturismo today: green meadows, children's playground, and well-kept, docile animals. We ate divinely, and the waitress was incredibly kind and patient. We spent the afternoon on the green meadow, where the children played freely, and as we were leaving, the owner invited us to stay as long as we wanted, because "no one will turn you away here; enjoy this sunny day." Kindness and respect, excellent food, a wonderful day! See you again very soon!

12/03/2026: I'm forced to revise my rating because this is the second time that requests for large tables, food intolerances, or people with special dietary needs have been virtually ignored. The alternative offered (one first course instead of two) was tasteless, insipid, and unrelated. The vegetarian's second course was a plate of fries. The appetizers weren't supplemented for those with food intolerances, but they ate what we could from the common ones, forcing them to forgo several courses. The price per person, however, remained the same: €40. It's a shame because the first few times I came, I was thrilled.

08/03/2026: For my second trip to Cagliari, I wanted to try a traditional restaurant, and Pani e Casu more than met my expectations. The restaurant is located in the Castello neighborhood, offering a stunning view. The menu is traditional, with simple, rustic dishes reminiscent of a trattoria, home-cooked fare that warms the heart and fills the stomach. I sampled the selection of cheeses (the house cream cheese was exceptional) and then had the opportunity to try both culurgiones and trofie with wild boar, all washed down with an excellent Cannonau. To finish, seada and traditional dry biscuits. What can I say, I'd gladly return!

05/03/2026: Very good traditional food. The portions were really decent at a reasonable price. The mix of appetizers really surprised us. And at the end, the lady suggested something good for digestion :)

12/11/2025: A typical Sardinian restaurant, not very touristy, but the food is very good. I recommend the excellent fish main courses.
