We booked because everyone had spoken well of it and indeed the food was amazing, the place was nice and the staff were very kind... but we ended up in a small isolated room in the basement (very characteristic) with a cold and humidity that was really difficult to stay without the duvet on, we ordered and the waitress had to be in the next room otherwise she couldn't get the signal and place the order, ok no problem, when the appetizer arrived I pointed out to the waitress that the humidity and cold were very noticeable, she told me that it was 20° (true but the dehumidifier in the room was working at full capacity making a nice buzz and absolutely not managing to remove all the humidity present in fact there was a lot, a lot, of mold on the stones of the wall) and that it was hot upstairs so the heating system detected the heat and didn't "pump" anymore, ok when my first course arrived I was offered to move upstairs when we served the second courses and I gladly accepted, when my son's first course arrived, 15 minutes later from When my table arrives, we are told that the proposed table will not be freed up 🤷‍♂️ so we finish eating the first course and decide to have the second courses made in a "cartoccio" and go because in the meantime my wife has already left the restaurant to go and warm up in the car... I pay and leave with my cartoccio and a rather strange experience, good food, slow service but that's okay, I'm in no hurry, but the cold and humidity ruined my lunch

Here you can enjoy Romagna cuisine, including excellent stuffed pasta dishes. The desserts are a highlight at the end of the meal, offering a wide selection. In the summer, you can enjoy dinner or lunch on the beautiful outdoor veranda.

In my opinion, you need to go on a diet for a day; the dishes were excellent, from the dips to the amaro. Everyone was great. Even though it's 40 km from home, we'll be back. Highly recommended.

13/01/2026: We arrived in Faenza and, searching for "typical Faenza food," Marianaza was the first place we found... and I must say, it was an excellent choice! We were truly delighted. We started with a cured meats appetizer with piadina, then we also had a piadina with squacquerone cheese and arugula (super good and simple, just how I like it). I chose the grilled vegetables, while he chose the mutton rib: both were excellent, well-cooked and flavorful. To finish, we shared a cocoa cake with their homemade jam, truly delicious. Recommended if you want to eat traditional food and leave satisfied!

02/01/2026: We often eat at Rifugio dei Golosi because we've always had a great experience with the fair prices and generous portions... but we were very, very disappointed with the Christmas dinner on December 31st because when we booked, we asked if there would be music and fireworks so my family could have a fun evening. When we arrived, they seated us in a small room where there was only sadness and we could hear the music and the joy from the large room where, of course, there was music... In addition to the initial disappointment, we were also disappointed by the very small portions despite the price having doubled because it was a holiday. I understand the confusion, but they served us so hastily and superficially that we were about to leave. So, after this experience, we will definitely eat at this place again, but on normal days and never on holidays.

It was stringy with nerves, cartilage, and bones. Plus, the few pieces of meat were like shoe soles. A terrible experience.
