01/11/2025: It is a historic restaurant in Ravenna, the menu is revised every now and then, it has multiple rooms, including outdoor seating, suitable for everyone, the food is always delicious, the kitchen is always very clean and the prices are fair.

22/10/2025: The family-run pizza was very good, light yet well-topped. The service was quick and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. We'll be back to try the other specialties on the menu.

02/11/2025: The view was beautiful, the appetizers were good... cappelletti in broth... very bad... thick pastry... flavorless filling... broth was like water... we even felt bad!... if they were leftovers it would have been better to throw them away since they then make you pay a lot for them!!

16/09/2025: A trattoria from another era. After a somewhat chilly welcome...luckily, the food was a whole different story! I recommend the heavenly tartare, seasoned on the spot. Excellent selection of cured meats and strictly handmade pasta. A highly recommended gastronomic stop in Rimini!

24/10/2025: Tipped off by Marco (Ravenna local) and Lonely Planet, I took a table at La Gardela with a street view and dived into three plates. Best first: hand-made tortellini with ricotta and herbs in the house tomato-cream sauce — supple pasta, sauce just rich enough. 8/10. Then fresh squid and prawns with courgette frites, plus simple griddled tomatoes to test the produce: squid and courgette were spot on, prawns a shade over, frites under-seasoned. 6.5/10. Dessert, “Crema di Ravenna”, a set custard with caramelised orange — fine idea, needed more zest in the custard. 5/10.

10/11/2025: I've been coming to this place for 30 years now, and I travel about 300 km, since I don't live in Romagna. For the first time, I was very, very disappointed: two Florentine steaks ordered rare, both overcooked and (in my opinion) ruined. We politely pointed this out to the waiter, who confirmed the cooking error but stopped there. The side dishes were barely edible: unspeakable baked potatoes and lukewarm beer. When paying, I politely pointed out that for the first time in 30 years, I'd eaten something bad and the cooking error. The response was, "30 years ago, we didn't make Florentine steaks, and besides, you know, a medium-small Florentine steak (1300 g) is difficult to cook rare." I think, reluctantly, that I'll never come to this place again.

07/11/2025: This review is meant to be a profound appreciation from me and my family, dating back to the 1970s. It's a place that's more than just a restaurant, but a dynasty of wonderful gastronomic traditions, lost in a timeless atmosphere.

21/09/2025: The service was attentive and very friendly, especially considering the two small children at the table. The grilled food was delicious, with incredibly fresh fish, especially considering the time of year. The first courses were also good. The ambiance is decorated in a nautical blue and white theme. The atmosphere is relaxing, despite being in the city center.

17/09/2025: This is the first time I've had a bad meal in Rimini. The calamari skewers were so thin that four skewers were worth one. I won't be back.
