22/12/2025: We ended up at this restaurant in December for a trip to the nearby port. It's like many others from the outside, but the inside is the same: classic but welcoming. We were seated right away, and the menu was particularly extensive considering it was a midweek lunch. We initially ordered two different pasta dishes, and while they looked inviting, they didn't taste good. They were completely lacking. By adding lots of grated cheese, we managed to make up for it. The main course was fine.

With forty years in the restaurant business, I've rarely witnessed such sloppiness in the kitchen: overcooked seafood risotto
, shrimp with string, crabs not cleaned and still in their shells, thin chitarrine. The mussels—of Spanish origin—had an unpleasant odor, and when we reported it, the waitress excused herself rather than remedy it.
The bill of over €1,400 for 22 covers doesn't even begin to reflect what
we were served. Not recommended.

21/03/2026: The restaurant offers more than just a good meal. The historic building gives a unique identity and creates an atmosphere that feels elegant, warm, and full of character. It is the kind of place where the surroundings add to the whole experience. The staff were very attentive and made us feel well looked after from beginning to end. A great choice in Imola for both the food and the setting.
11/03/2026: In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Imola. The dishes are truly delicious and carefully crafted. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and it's a versatile osteria that lends itself to both dinners with friends and slightly more elegant occasions. At the end of the meal, you'll probably spend a few euros more than at other osterias in the area, but it's definitely not excessive. Special praise goes to the waiters, the same ones who have been working there for years (a great sign). They're impeccable and have a level of training that's rarely seen in restaurants of a certain caliber.

10/01/2026: Beautiful location. Beautiful garden. Beautiful view. Outdoor dining available. Good value. Kudos to the super friendly and helpful staff. A tip for everyone: try the tagliata. It's one of the best I've ever eaten.

28/03/2026: A truly disappointing experience. The staff was cold, rude, and completely uninterested in the customer.
As for the food, unfortunately, we were even more disappointed: the meat was incredibly tough, literally like a shoe sole, difficult even to cut. The pasta, on the other hand, was simply awful, flavorless, and poorly cooked.
An experience I wouldn't repeat and I wouldn't recommend.

We were welcomed by a very kind young lady who was attentive to our every need. We ate homemade delicacies made by their hands, starting with the bread and focaccia. Top-quality ingredients and attention to every detail. ❤️

12/04/2026: The "salami and cheese platter" appetizer had ONE slice of cheese. Unacceptable. The piadina was raw on the inside and burned on the outside. My vegetarian sister received a first course with peas and minced meat when she had only asked for peas. Some pieces of grilled meat were completely cold and some were hot, for no apparent reason. Except for the house white wine and the fries, I highly recommend it.
26/03/2026: A historic restaurant with recipes from the days of our great-grandfathers. Highly recommended.

08/04/2026: I've been frequenting this place for a couple of decades, and it has been a safe and essential stop.
Unfortunately, time itself has worn down the historic property and hasn't given the new management enough impetus. And its slow decline was inevitable.
The history remains, the beautiful grill that welcomes you at the entrance, the unwavering attention to guests who continue to feel at home.
The cuisine deserves a new lease of life, to reclaim the tradition that has defined its essence.
For me, it will continue to be an essential stop, even if it's less secure.
06/04/2026: Easter Monday lunch. There were 9 of us and we were super happy. We will be back.

07/04/2026: After waiting at least half an hour, my penne all'arrabbiata arrived. I calmly and kindly asked the waitress if she could bring me the cheese since there wasn't any, and she replied annoyed that she only had two hands. I mean, do you realize that people don't come anymore even if you pay for them?!
03/04/2026: Aside from the fair price (which is in line with the quality of the food served), I strongly advise against it.
Organization is lacking, courtesy is absent, and kindness is unknown.
Go elsewhere.
