15/02/2026: Good evening, I am writing because I am disappointed and saddened by our experience at the Mastin Vecchio restaurant, having come for dinner as part of a stay package with the hotel, with a reservation at 9:30 pm. We waited about 15 minutes for a table (but even though it was Valentine's Day, I understand completely). We sat down at the table, mentioning that my partner is celiac (something we have mentioned several times at the hotel), asking the waiter for advice on what she could eat. The response was "ah well, you certainly know better what you can eat." We ordered 3 courses (as per the package) and I would like to point out that the first thing we were served was 2 Entrecôte dishes (with gluten), so we pointed this out and it was replaced with a raw ham rolled around a slice of radicchio. The appetizer arrived after a while and wasn't bad. The first one served to us at 11 (while people who had arrived later than us were already eating) consisted of a saffron risotto (I don't remember the other ingredients), hard. but edible, as for my cappelletto in brodo, however, it was inedible to say the least, with broth that was more water than broth and tasteless on all sides, oh we had to stop the second courses because at 11:15 with the room half empty we realized the time, and forgive me, I understand Valentine's Day, the customers and the difficulty in preparing gluten-free dishes while paying attention, but such a long wait with such an empty room... well, when we got to the cash register we asked if we had to pay anything (we knew that drinks and cover charge were extra) but €10 as a bill was quite unexpected, especially since we didn't take advantage of the second courses, I expected at least a discount, I break a lance to the owner (I think, based on the dress) very competent and friendly, and to the very kind waiters even if some were not very attentive, I hope my review can help you improve, because that evening unfortunately I wasn't the only one with the same idea.

16/06/2025: Siamo stati in 8 per il compleanno del patriarca della famiglia nonché il mio compagno ..:abbiamo optato per il menu degustazione da 30€ siamo rimasti tutti molto soddisfatti anche il nostro più piccolo commensale di 4 anni che ha preso i cappelletti in brodo…che ha finito fino all i ultimo …noi adulti menù con tantissimi assaggini ..due antipastini tre primi tre secondi contorni e dolce … tutto buonissimo..complimenti

01/12/2025: If you want to eat hand-made pasta like in the old days, using old Romagna recipes, I recommend you visit us. This is a classic, old-style Romagna trattoria, open only on Saturdays and Sundays. I recommend booking.

24/04/2025: Dopo molti anni siamo tornati alla Ca' de Ven, stavolta per un pranzo durante un giro in centro per visitare i monumenti. Ottimo servizio, veloce e cortese, io ho preso tagliatelle verdi con funghi, davvero eccezionali; inoltre da apprezzare la possibilità di piadina e altri piatti senza glutine, per chi è celiaco. Anche i vini (ovvio) sono ottimi. Torneremo alla prossima occasione.

31/01/2026: I didn't like reading the signs behind the register that the owner is against banks and card payments, that the POS might not work due to poor signal, and eating with the worry of not having enough cash. Then, strangely, one dish cost me a euro more than what was written on the menu. I began to wonder if I had paid the much-hated commissions, but unfortunately, I realized this later and couldn't ask for an explanation. This was my experience.
