19/07/2024: Excellent trattoria, with quality service and food

19/07/2024: Al contrario dell’esperienza positiva dello scorso anno, quest’anno il Ristorante “Le Scalette” ha toppato pesantemente! Con una coppia di amici, abbiamo ordinato “una tagliatella alla papera”, veramente OTTIMA e “DUE” PORZIONI DI ARROSTO MISTO, nonche “DUE” FRITTI MISTI come contorno( olive ascolane, patatine, verdure pastellate, ricotte dolci fritte, etc.). Ebbene, inspiegabilmente ci e’ arrivata UNA sperlunga di arrosto misto (30 cm. circa - meta’ ossa) ed UNA sperlunga (30 cm. circa) di fritto misto. Naturalmente, con questo tipo di atteggiamento, il CLIENTE viene preso profondamente in giro, per non usare altre allocuzioni! Consiglio! Se chiedete DUE, TRE, PORZIONI, FATEVI PORTARE DUE, TRE SPERLUNGHE! Cosi’ giudicherete VOI le quantita’ servite.. e haime’ PAGATE!

27/08/2024: Excellent experience in a place that was recommended to us and which offers local dishes. We had dinner trying different dishes that are offered, constantly changing them according to availability. The menu can only be consulted in the restaurant because it is written on the blackboard. Everything excellent! What we ate was cooked by hands who demonstrated great experience in the kitchen, from appetizers to dessert. The vegetables were excellent, the first course with Mrs. Rita's ragù was truly balanced and tasty. The exquisite desserts. Quick, attentive and very kind staff. You can see that they take great care in the work they do. There are also outdoor tables. Car parking only on the street and a little difficult to find free. I highly recommend it for a meat and vegetable dinner

31/08/2024: I went to this restaurant in the 80s to celebrate ferragosto with my whole family but I am willing to bet 95% that the blue tablecloths under the white ones are still the same as 40 years ago... The dishes are still as I remember: always just as good 🥰 jesuiti, bauletti, crema fritta, olive ascolane 🤤🤤🤤🤤 however I had forgotten that the portions were so big... Low price. I advise....

31/08/2024: This place is historic and offers a traditional meat-based menu. It deserves 5 stars because the typical dishes are plentiful and delicious, the meat is cooked in such a way as to be truly tender and tasty. It is a place on the hills outside the city that can only be reached by car, recommended for those who love local products, want to eat well and spend the right amount.

22/08/2024: An authentic meal with a very nice bottle of house wine, the owner has won prizes with his cooking, and no longer has to prove anything. I ate very tasty pasta, carpacio, the daughter ate pork and the husband beef in red wine, Piece voir piece of pearls, then ate the tastiest tiramisu ever. If it also turns out that the paintings in the shop and the label of the wine bottle from the side, I am even more impressed. Thank you for your hospitality Rolando, I am a big fan.

21/08/2024: Homemade but good cuisine, particularly suitable for grilled meat. There is a bit of a wait due to the many customers. Very retro furnishings. Location with a view of the Pesaro hills and the sea. Prices not exaggerated. Not to be missed.

15/08/2024: Historic tavern in Novilara. A wonderful terrace with a fabulous view of the Pesaro hills and the sea. I come here at least once a year: a legacy from my grandfather and my father who have been frequenting these places for almost 50 years. The menu is simple, cheap and good. I'm crazy about cooked herbs and their gratins, as well as mutton. Good selection of wines. A must stop every time I return to Pesaro

16/08/2024: If I had to write just one word, it would be DELICIOUS. From start to finish, I couldn’t help but go “mmm” with every bite. The seafood, fish, was so tasty. The terrace, very pleasant next to a square in the center but quiet, and the staff are passionate and attentive. Perfect evening.

16/08/2024: Mid-August lunch 2024. Very nice place, certainly the best aspect of the restaurant. We were inside but it was like being outside because the windows were completely wide open and despite the scorching heat of these days we had a good time overall. Fast service, young guys at the tables were kind and very good. Little choice on the menu (it was mid-August it's true but the other times I've been it didn't change much), rather simple food and good first courses, just enough grilled meat in terms of variety of pieces and taste, rabbit as second choice between the two second courses, I can't express myself why I don't eat it. Cost of 37 euros with first course, second course, side dishes and dessert (average).

13/07/2024: A friend of mine and I decided to celebrate our graduation party by the pool at this restaurant. When we called for information they told us that they were offering a "package" at a cost of 35 euros each which included the use of the swimming pool, a generous buffet and a first course served at the table. In reality, personally and for a large part of the guests, the buffet was not very abundant in terms of variety of dishes. They didn't even ask us if we would like coffee at the end of dinner. We had agreed to decide later on the extras, such as sparkling wine, that we would consume during the evening (something reiterated both on the phone and as soon as we arrived at the restaurant). However, without asking permission, 4 bottles were opened, consequently increasing the final bill. My friend and I decided to pay before dinner, excluding the extras, which we would decide later. Regarding the sparkling wine, I pointed out to the cashier that we would pay for the consumption, but another person probably wouldn't. In the end I was offered a bottle: I paid for 3 bottles for a total of 90 euros. I don't think there was any bad intention behind these oversights, considering there was only one waiter to serve all 24 people in attendance. However, it would have been more correct to ask before opening the bottles. Furthermore, around 2am we were told by those who worked there to end the evening with words like "guys I want to go home" but more professional communication would have been appreciated. We also forgot about the remaining cake, but a simple feedback or question about its destination would have been appreciated, as is usually the case in other restaurants. Ultimately, I cannot recommend this restaurant and certainly will not give it a good publicity.

17/06/2024: I had already been to the restaurant in autumn and finding myself in Grottazzolina I wanted to go back because just the thought of having dinner the first time makes my mouth water. The first time was a surprise, the second a confirmation. Courtesy and professionalism are in first place together with the very beautiful location. The dinner was superb on both occasions in which we did not choose from the menu but we took advice based also on the proposals of the day. Very tender and good meat, excellent quality wine. I hope to have the opportunity to return.

If you are looking for a genuine experience and are willing to forgive some imperfections and keep an eye on saving, Osteria del Foro could be the right choice. 🇮🇹

14/08/2024: Torniamo dopo lustri all’albergo diffuso. Ci aspettiamo la gradevolissima location dei ricordi e di sfamarci (per comodità) nel ristorante che nei ricordi è meno luminoso, senza infamia e senza lode. Ohibò Ovviamente il borgo accarezza i ricordi ma il ristorante è una bellissima sorpresa. Un menù rispettoso del territorio, una cucina rispettosa degli ingredienti, una lista dei vini attenta ai vitigni autoctoni e aperta al biologico. Abbiamo azzannato principalmente carne e salumi. Eravamo con una nipotina celiaca e anche disponibilità, attenzione e varietà per il gluten free è stata più che soddisfacente (per la cronaca, anche per la colazione del mattino, sempre da loro, non solo le solite confezioncine schär -anche- ma una scelta vera con preparazioni casalinghe). In poche parole un ristorante che ha una sua anima, un’anima per altro bella, che vive di luce propria ma che ben illumina l’esperienza dell’albergo diffuso. Una ragione in più per tornare. Aggiungo. Se come noi stai rientrando dalla lontana Puglia, con due nipoti, per spezzare il viaggio e quindi non hai tantissimo tempo per il territorio…la loro bottega ti presenta vino, olio, salumi, formaggi, pasta e quant’altro. Un modo per sedare la bulimia da acquisti di prodotti del territorio pur avendo poco tempo.

04/08/2024: During a long journey, we stumbled upon Da Matteo via Google Maps, and what a little gem it turned out to be. The service was excellent, and the food was exceptional. Everything we ordered was delicious, leaving us thoroughly impressed. We sat outside in an elegantly lit courtyard, which added to the charm of our dining experience. The atmosphere was delightful, making our stop even more memorable. The experience was so delightful that we may even consider popping back, despite it being a long way from home. Da Matteo is a true find, and we highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

11/08/2024: Every time you think about coming back here 😜 the food is excellent, all genuine, the helpfulness of the staff is excellent, not to mention their trifle (for those with a sweet tooth)
