04/06/2026: A truly wonderful experience, for sure. It's an intimate, family-run establishment in a 19th-century style—as the name suggests—focused on the quality of the food and excellent service rather than the number of customers; so reservations 📞 are highly recommended. The local specialties were perfect: from the spaghetti alla Dolce Amatrice 🍝 to the dessert, the Cupola d'Ascoli 🧁, filled with the iconic Anisetta 🍾. The meat dishes are also excellent, with refined options like the lamb stew 🥩 and pork cheek 🥓 seasoned with balsamic onions 🧅, accompanied by standard vegetable side dishes... 🥔🍆🍅 The only negative: the spaghetti was too al dente! I recommend not cooking them as long as strictly necessary ⏲️, since the pasta is already tending towards the tough side... The sauce, I repeat, is "the best", but it took a set of teeth 🦷🦷 still as firm as ours to chew them. The waiting times were completely tolerable despite the crowd, so a few extra minutes won't spoil the pleasure of enjoying perfectly cooked pasta... 😊
