La Volpe e l'Uva In Macerata

Found this restaurant in the historic center of Macerata thanks to reviews on Maps. Everything was very good. While we were waiting for our order to be delivered, they offered us two slices of bread with olive oil and fig jam. A strange combination, but a successful one. The two of us shared a second course, which we chose as an appetizer. It was called "veal inside," and it included samples of grilled liver, sweetbread meatballs, fried tripe, and kidney pâté: delicious!!! Then we both ordered a slice of Marche beef, which was very tasty and well-cooked. Sparkling water and a glass of wine were included, and the bill came to €67. A fair price for the quality and quantity of food. The place is also very nice. We took advantage of the outdoor seating and had a great time, but the interior, decorated in a "medieval" tavern style, also left a pleasant impression on me. The waiters were very kind and competent. One thing that really struck me was the cleanliness of the bathrooms, where there's even a disinfectant spray available for cleaning. I've never seen anything like it. 😁😁😁

Great little gem, the vibe of the place is amazing, cozy, rustic but refined. The food is delicious, simple ingredients and traditional Italian food but with a twist, every plate is surprising in some way and adds some flare and a little spin to the usual dishes you find in most Osterie in Italy. The wine list is beyond extensive and unexpectedly affordable, like half bottle of Brunello Di Montalcino 2015 for just 22€! Highly recommended!

A truly delightful restaurant in the center of Macerata. A welcoming and well-kept place with a warm, traditional atmosphere. The dishes are well-prepared, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. The highlight is definitely the extensive wine selection: a truly impressive cellar with many labels to choose from. I found a truly delicious 2021 organic Sangiovese here—a wonderful discovery. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, even recommending the perfect wine to pair with the dishes. A very positive experience, highly recommended.

A very beautiful restaurant, it exudes warmth... even on a "difficult" occasion like Valentine's Day dinner, you can feel its unique style and cooking style. I found everything delicious, high-quality, and carefully presented. The wine pairing was impeccable, and the bill was fair... what can I say, congratulations!
