13/07/2025: A restaurant with exceptionally high-quality waiter service. Elegant and respectful, we felt fantastically well-cared for. The dishes were presented in a modern style, with an interesting combination of flavors, and melt-in-your-mouth dishes (we especially recommend the faraona, capon, tortelli di zucca, and chitarra mediteranea). Plus, there were side dishes between the menus, such as puff pastry rolls with salt, sbrisolona, olive oil, and mini desserts. We visited twice during our stay in Mantua, and if the opportunity arises, we will definitely return.

06/07/2025: Every detail was perfectly attended to. The food was the best we’ve had in Italy. We would definitely drive an hour to eat here again. Also there is a medium sized parking lot right in front of the restaurant. We stopped here on the way home to Verona from a day trip.

30/06/2025: We took the Ego menu. Excellent quality of raw materials, excellent plating and imagination. The cod tiramisu is an experience you absolutely have to try. Professional and friendly service. Excellent wines, if you have any doubts you are advised and it is possible to taste depending on the dishes. You absolutely have to try them

05/07/2025: Like others, I also looked for a place with typical cuisine. In fact, here they serve fried frogs and snails that I have not found elsewhere and that are perhaps the strong dishes because the ones I tried were not so good (rice, stew, pike). I must say that expectations were high and I did not leave satisfied, indeed I would say a little bitter about the final quality/price ratio.

30/06/2025: I followed the advice of many people who had already visited this tavern! I can only confirm how good the dishes are! The tavern is very close to the center, better to book in advance because it is always full and there is a good reason! Typical Mantua dishes and appetizers not only Mantua but also from other nearby cities with quality cheeses and cured meats! Very kind and above all fast staff :) Prices are normal. Super, super recommended!

31/05/2025: Weekend in Mantua and dinner for two in this trattoria found on the internet. We dined in the pleasant outdoor area covered by a beautiful pergola. We tasted an excellent ham, two typical first courses of the area and two second courses including the stracotto that could not be missed. All good Kind and helpful staff.. fair prices.

15/07/2025: Maybe I'm biased, and I've been coming to Leoncino for 35 years, but how can you not be fascinated by this place? Surrounded by Nedo's paintings, you can savor Marinella's traditional dishes and enjoy Loris's professionalism and courtesy at the tables.

14/07/2025: It was recommended to us by a local shopkeeper. We had a great meal, the service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable (they're usually more expensive here...Lake Iseo). The tortelli were fantastic, both the pumpkin ones (which I'm not particularly fond of) and the herb ones. The stew was also excellent, but if I were to return, I'd definitely order a second (or third) of the tortelli! Highly recommended.

29/03/2025: Il posto è un incrocio tra ristorante/brasserie/osteria, pulito, onesto nel prezzo, un po' ruvido il gestore che ha preso il mio ordine, in ogni caso buon mangiare senza brutte sorprese. Meglio prenotare.

12/07/2025: Two words: excellent restaurant. Top-quality food, especially the potato, leek, and scampi ravioli. Extremely kind, polite, and professional staff. Excellent setting in the center of Mantua. I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Mantua. Prices are perhaps a little higher than average, but the speed and quality are worth the five stars.

25/06/2025: We sit down at 2:30 pm and the kitchen closes at 3:00 pm. They invite us to the restaurant and my partner and I have lunch. At 3:15 pm the manager or a member of the staff inside shouts at the waiter, incredulous "those two will go out of our way". I am shocked, I ask the waiter to tell his colleague to learn how to behave. Outrageous service, decent food. Your rudeness has made you lose a customer, but I don't think you care.
