Authentic Italian food with a large selection of local wines. The ambience is excellent thanks to the historic building and the central but quiet location. Simply beautiful, especially on a warm summer evening. The service was quick, friendly and accommodating.

I tried this restaurant in a very fascinating area of ​​Mantua in its central, historic location, the menu is very varied, I tried the gnocchi with mussels and cabbage, as a second octopus, I found them exceptional, as a starter focaccia practically a pizza which was also exceptional If it happens I think I will return to this place.

Excellent experience: the location is suggestive, thanks to the frescoes that decorate the ceiling and walls of the room. The location is very convenient, right in the center, a stone's throw from the main monuments. Excellent food, delicious and light pizzas, with quality ingredients. The staff were very kind, helpful and welcoming. Excellent value for money, especially when compared to other places in the centre. Super recommended!

Centralissimo, bella struttura medioevale a più piani, ottimo servizio, celerità, i cibi tutti ottimi, come la bottiglia di vino consiglia con prezzo modico. Abbiamo preso piatti di carne, ma anche i pesci di acqua dolce andavano provati, vista la qualità della cucina. I prezzi corretti. Ottimo

Locale in un palazzo storico al centro della città, a due passi da Palazzo Ducale. La sala, interna, molto bella, è affrescata con immagini rinascimentali. Affascinante. Il cibo è buono. Si possono gustare piatti della cucina mantovana. Prezzi nella media. Caro il caffè (3euro). Servizi igienici da migliorare.

10/02/2024: As soon as you entered it felt like you were at the home of relatives you haven't seen for ages, but with whom you immediately reconnect after a few chats. We sit at our table and the menu offers us dishes that we would never have thought of: I had cocoa tagliatelle with speck, duck breast and orange artichokes, my wife had green tortelli with bacon, figs and onion. During lunch also duck breast and various side dishes. Between one course and another the innkeeper (I allow myself to call him that - it is a family-run restaurant) entertained us with his adventures in Mantua. Highly recommended!
06/01/2024: I'm really happy to have lunch in this authentic family-run trattoria. It felt like home! Dishes from the traditional Mantuan cuisine are offered: excellent home-made pumpkin tortelli and various types of pasta, as well as the classic fried catfish! I will definitely return to try the other options on the menu. A big thank you to all the staff for their availability, professionalism and friendliness! See you soon

13/03/2024: Very suggestive restaurant, genuine cuisine with homemade ingredients and dishes (exquisite pumpkin tortelli, mustard and liqueurs). Very generous portions, excellent value for money. Staff who put passion and kindness into what they do. An obligatory stop if you pass through these areas.
