Ristorante Masseria In Mantova

A Sunday spent happily with my group of about fifty friends, lunching with good food and excellent service. Thanks to Mrs. Vittoria for her helpfulness and to all the staff. Well done everyone.

We visited this restaurant on Easter Sunday, in a large group of 16, including several children. I had booked in advance, and I must say that the location is truly beautiful, well-maintained, and welcoming: it's definitely one of the restaurant's strong points. Naturally, Easter Sunday isn't the best time to evaluate a restaurant under normal circumstances, as it's very busy and can inevitably get a bit crowded, which we actually found. We tried a bit of everything, from appetizers to first and second courses. The first courses were a pleasant surprise: well-prepared, tasty, and truly successful. The quality of the meats was also good, especially the Limousine steak, which several diners enjoyed. Unfortunately, however, some portions arrived cold, a detail that somewhat spoiled the experience, especially considering the type of cut served. There was also a mistake with one of the second courses, which arrived with cheese we hadn't requested, and we had to wait for it to be replaced. Overall, there were some hiccups in the service, though the waiter in charge did his best to handle the situation with kindness and helpfulness. Overall, the experience wasn't bad, but the various hiccups, especially on such a busy day, impacted the final rating. Despite the beauty of the place and the good quality of some of the dishes, I probably wouldn't return.

A very nice restaurant, with a dining room under a painted dome from many years ago, located in the center of Mantua, near the Ducal Palace. We'll definitely return.

A wonderful culinary experience in this charming historic farmhouse. Tasty, traditional Mantuan dishes, in a setting that transports you back in time.

Delicious pizza and top service!

Wonderful location, with frescoed ceilings and dining rooms with period furnishings. In addition to the light and well-seasoned pizzas, we tried the risotto alla pilota, with sausage pesto, and other traditional dishes, including mustard and pumpkin. They also had no problem letting my furry friend in. Thank you 🐾🐾

Be wary of negative reviews. This place deserves... 5 stars! Well done!

Certainly a beautiful old fashioned setting, excellent service, but high prices for a pinsa with slightly leavened dough and a tiramisu where the abundance of cocoa, not yet moistened by the cream, was kneaded in the mouth and throat... come on

Nice restaurant, really uncomfortable chairs. The charcuterie board was delicious, truly delicious; perhaps a little more cheese would have made it perfect. The pumpkin tortelli were good, but lacked that essential hint of saltiness to balance the filling. Delicious tagliata. The tiramisu was truly excellent; perhaps less cocoa would have made it even better; some spoonfuls were too bitter. Courteous staff. Wait times were reasonable.
