Just outside the bustle of shops, you turn into an alley and find a very pleasant and well-kept little corner. We enjoyed excellent tortelli and excellent wine. The service was very friendly.
We dined outside, but upon entering, I noticed that the atmosphere is culturally vibrant. Even the bathroom is welcoming, with very interesting black-and-white photos and books. In short, a pleasant place to disappear for a while.

The only flaw about this restaurant is the service, which is unfortunately very slow. Otherwise, it's definitely worth stopping by for lunch or dinner: the owners are very kind, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food is truly amazing. The cheese selection with mustard is excellent, the pumpkin tortelli are amazing, and the stew melted in your mouth. If I ever return to Mantua, I'll definitely choose it again for lunch or dinner. The price was also fair.

During our visit to Mantua, we stopped for lunch at this truly unique and welcoming restaurant. The service was excellent, the staff friendly, and the food was truly delicious. But Giallo Zucca's real strength is its incredible selection and attention to gluten-free and vegan options: finding such care and variety is not a given. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

Lunch with the family. The atmosphere is very unique and well-kept, decorated with books and records on the walls. The staff was truly courteous. We ordered two appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses for four people. The appetizers arrived promptly, but due to a misunderstanding between the staff and the kitchen, we unfortunately had a long wait for the second course. For one of the first courses (tagliatelle), we had to ask for a second course because it was too salty. They promptly corrected it and it wasn't added to the bill, so very professional. They also offered us dessert; the pudding was fabulous!
I recommend the stracotto, the best Sicilian dish we've ever tasted.
