I migliori ristoranti di cucina cucina mantovana

24/11/2024: Siamo andati per un pranzo domenicale, abbiamo prenotato il mattino stesso. Particolarità di questo ristorante è che condivide un bar-tabacchi all’interno della stessa struttura. Menu vario, sia carne che pesce. Qualità dei prodotti ottima con piatti del territorio. Ravioli delicati e ben fatti, ragù di lepre eccezionale come i bolliti, porzioni abbondanti. Vino sfuso non convincente. Prezzo ottimo! Unica pecca il personale freddo, ha compensato il proprietario del locale, gentile e simpatico. Ci tornerò !

03/11/2024: Siamo stati a cena in questo locale che ci era stato consigliato...abbiamo ordinato un antipasto di salumi e formaggi a seguire le Lunette alle ortiche davvero delicate buone e un ottimo stufato d'asino con la polenta ...il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino di produzione propria...ottimo cibo e bellissima serata.

07/01/2025: Unsatisfactory experience. We ordered a stuffed porcini mushroom appetizer and a selection of cheeses with Mantua mustards. Already the first courses were unfortunately not very convincing. €15 for a small porcini mushroom (head only) and covered with other ingredients that dominated the entire dish, such as a similar phyllo pastry not indicated in the description of the dish on the menu. Anemic cheese selections, €16 for 8 pieces of 4 different types of cheese whose names the staff can't remember. As a second course we had pumpkin tortelli and polenta with stew. The tortelli were few and not the best I have eaten, unfortunately drowned in tasteless butter and the pumpkin not sufficiently enhanced in its flavour. The stew with a disappointing polenta that seemed of poor quality, stringy and dry meat. Placing to be reviewed. The cost of lunch was not even justified by the choice of wine, Valpolicella was not promoted, €20 perhaps for a mark-up that was too pretentious. We conclude with 3 stars for the certainly particular environment, but we got cold from drafts coming from the entrance door. Poor service.

06/01/2025: The place was chosen because it offers vegan dishes on the menu, but unfortunately it is not enough to remove animal foods to make correct vegan cuisine... in fact, forgetting to include legume proteins is a serious mistake, especially if you charge 18 euros for the second course and call it "steak lettuce" and are two seared salad leaves.. even the dessert can definitely be improved, an appetizer without infamy or praise as it is only courgettes. The first one was good: even if it wasn't necessary, a legume paste was used and the chestnut seasoning was very good. The place is beautiful and the desire to also work with plant-based food is there and it shows, but I recommend studying vegan nutrition in a little more depth.

04/01/2025: The pleasantness of the environment is subjective. The name evokes "peasant" environments with touches of copper and Austrian edicts hanging on the walls. Nice fireplace and charming entrance veranda. The menu is traditional. All good but without creativity. The bill... salty.

29/12/2024: The style of the restaurant is ancient but very beautiful. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. We eat very well. Perfect especially for Christmas. For New Year's Eve they do a race to get the animals and you can take them home, they even give some fish for each person.
