04/05/2025: We celebrated our nephew's confirmation and had a great time. Place located in the welcoming center of Mantua, impeccable service and excellent food. Highly recommended.

02/05/2025: We went to Mantua to bring a university friend of my daughter and we stopped to visit the city, for lunch we found a nice little square with the Masseria restaurant, very kind waiters and a nice menu available, we took a platter which we divided into three and then 3 very delicious first courses at an average price.

05/05/2025: The friendly service is immediately noticeable here. You are greeted with a smile, served quickly and immediately recognized at the aperitif the next day. The food is very good and the prices are not exorbitant for the beautiful place. It would be our regular place at home.

29/03/2025: Il posto è un incrocio tra ristorante/brasserie/osteria, pulito, onesto nel prezzo, un po' ruvido il gestore che ha preso il mio ordine, in ogni caso buon mangiare senza brutte sorprese. Meglio prenotare.

01/04/2025: Di ritorno da un week end sul lago di Garda, abbiamola deciso di pranzare alla Trattoria La Pesa. L’ambiente è piuttosto grande, si può pranzare anche fuori. Abbiamo ordinato una tagliata di cavallo, stracotto d’asino con polenta, ravioli di zucca e baccalà mantecato con polenta. Tutti i piatti della tradizione contadina e molto buoni. Poi abbiamo chiesto qualche fetta di salame che ci sono state servite con bruschette e del lardo da spalmare, veramente ottimi, il tutto inaffiato con del buon glera. Se si è in zona, una sosta è d’obbligo.

26/04/2025: A slightly old fashioned atmosphere, but still pleasant. Attentive service and very friendly staff. We had as an appetizer a grilled polenta with goat blue to share, pumpkin and ricotta tortelli with herbs, a tasting of desserts with a glass of passito to share. In addition two glasses of Lugana (Ca dei frati), a bottle of water and two coffees. Total €71. Very good food (I recommend the tagliatelle cake and the sbrisolona among the desserts and tortelli), generous portions. We left very satisfied. For the quality and quantity of the portions (the dessert tasting is enough for two) the bill was very honest. Advised

14/05/2025: The place is dated, however the dining room is welcoming and clean. The managers were really kind and thoughtful and showed us special attention. We enjoyed a delicious dinner. The place is not exactly located along our usual routes, but if we have the opportunity we will gladly return.

19/03/2025: Absolutely high price. €14 for 100g of tagliatelle and €3 cover charge for a dated Molyo restaurant are absolutely a disproportionate price. Final bill €21 (tagliatelle, water, coffee). I don't give 1 star because the tagliatelle were good.

03/05/2025: ONLY 2 THINGS FROM THE MENU WERE AVAILABLE. I went to the Giallozucca Restaurant with my daughter and my wife for her birthday. Booked a week in advance, we arrived calmly and enthusiastically at the location, very nice and welcoming. Escorted to the table by the waitress we sat outside and immediately afterwards the girl returned to inform us of some changes to the menu that was delivered to us. Of the 5 or 6 first courses on the menu, only 3 were available (the least interesting ones for us) and alternatively others were offered to us verbally (without mentioning the prices, with the exception of the macaroni with blue crab at the price of €27). At that point the waitress gave us time to decide what to order and shortly after we were brought the bread and a small entrée (a mostly cold potato and rib soup). Once it was time to order, my daughter requested the tagliolini with squid ink, still present on the menu but the girl, upset, reiterated the fact that they were not present. Confused, we pointed out that she had told us that it was the malatagliati that were not available and at that point she told us that tagliolini and maltagliati are the same thing. We had the off-menu items repeated (which moreover were more than the things on the menu) and my daughter chose to order the buffalo with raw prawn tartare, anchovies and coffee (which at first explanation seemed like pasta). I also order it, in the absence of tuna carpaccio (still present on the menu) which we were told is actually salmon, and then I take a baked sea bass (this is also off the menu). My wife orders the pumpkin tortelli with butter and sage (the sausage ragù was not available, luckily she wanted butter and sage) and the cheeses. The girl (a little confused) tells us that she would have brought the sea bass together with the buffalo mozzarella and the tortelli (I should have already understood what would have happened) and leaves. There is no wine list, you order on the advice of the (friendly) host without knowing the wines available and their prices (we didn't mind this because we wanted to try something new). After an hour of waiting the first things arrive. Good but not excellent buffalo mozzarella, good but few tortelli and normal sea bass (the one made at home is, in my opinion, better). Then after half an hour of waiting they collect our dishes and after another several minutes the second courses arrive. Only two. The waitress says to me: "You're done. Do you want anything else?". At that point we tell her that I had also ordered the buffalo but she incredulously replies no and after declaring herself sorry for the misunderstanding she brings me the buffalo (with an inevitable 20 minute wait). The menu ordered by my daughter without side dishes, the cheeses not explained (not even the order in which to eat them). We gave up dessert and coffee for fear of having to stay there to sleep. We might be wrong but at least clean the bathrooms, there are already enough surprises.

03/05/2025: Even though I hadn't booked, they immediately and pleasantly seated me outside. Quite good tortelli with butter and sage, with which the waitress recommends a natural wine which I accept. Shortly afterwards, at the table next to mine, a couple who make it clear that they understand wines, ask to try what was recommended to me, but the innkeeper (the owner I deduce) dissuades them by saying - verbatim - "forget it, it's rubbish". Now, given that I find it incorrect that "crap" was recommended to me, I also believe the different treatment between customers is incorrect, as well as being in bad taste and not very intelligent to discredit a product you sell in your place. To have the second course the wait was endless, even though it consisted of six pieces of cheese with a few pieces of mustard (no long or particular preparation). They apologized saying "the plate didn't fit in the dumbwaiter".

07/04/2025: Ottimo ristorante, perché chiamarlo osteria è un po’ riduttivo, al centro di Mantova, in piazza delle Erbe. Personale gentile e servizio veloce, ci siamo goduti un po’ di piatti della tradizione mantovana. Da provare il luccio in salsa e li salata di cappone. Ottima la mostarda di mela da accompagnare con il grana. Notevole anche la selezione di vini
