07/12/2025: A wonderful day in Mantua, amidst monuments and breathtaking views. A restaurant recommended by friends. A beautiful location, but everything else was so-so... traditional dishes, but only on the menu. The taste was bland and a bit bland, but the staff were very friendly. Prices weren't cheap. For a next visit to Mantua, I'd look elsewhere...

08/12/2025: An excellent lunch in the center of Mantua, in a spacious and well-organized restaurant (five rooms inside). We savored both baked goods like breadsticks and taralli, as well as other dishes on the menu, such as pumpkin with rosemary and shallots (absolutely delicious!) and the sublime risotto alla mantovana! The prices are high, but we ate so well that we were happy to spend them! The only downside is the bathroom (which is why I can't give the restaurant a full 5 stars): as soon as you go down the stairs, you can smell bad odors (the stairs adjoin the kitchen), and the women's section is quite unfortunate, but never mind. Scaravelli also has a café, pastry shop, ice cream parlor, and bakery under the arcades of Piazza delle Erbe, offering unique and inviting treats, both sweet and savory!

21/11/2025: Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Mantua! Beautiful and sophisticated location. The staff is extremely welcoming and kind, not to mention the truly delicious food! Congratulations!

09/12/2025: Average food Service n.c. "I ordered two main courses with side dishes, and they were served within about 40 minutes, one after the other... with priority given to the side dish..." Excessive prices... What a shame!! The atmosphere isn't bad.

06/05/2025: Dopo 40 anni che siamo clienti, delusi dai prezzi raddoppiati e un servizio scadente, mai successo come ripeto da clienti per oltre 40 anni. Abbiamo festeggiato matrimoni, battesimi, comunioni, compleanni e portato numerosi amici e conoscenti come nuova clientela, alla quale gireremo il nostro disappunto. Per ultimo 2 antipasti semplici 40 EURO. E chiudo peccato !

05/05/2025: Questo ristorante è davvero carino, sia nei suoi spazi interni, sia nel cortile. Cibo molto buono, servizio veloce, piano bar per nulla "invadente", e conto perfetto. Torneremo sicuramente :-)

06/12/2025: Relaxed atmosphere and very friendly service. Interesting menu and excellent dishes. Prices are more than adequate for the setting. A good place to eat, highly recommended.

30/11/2025: One of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever seen! Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service, even with the intern: the appetizer, creamed vegetables and crostini, offered on the house, was delicious; the dishes were prepared with care and love. And if Verena says so, we can't go wrong! The jewel in the crown are the books on the tables, the piano, and the entire place. The next day, Verena bought the book we found at our table, "Gita in pianura," by Alex Corlazzoli. We'll definitely be back.

18/05/2025: Ottima trattoria. Tutto perfetto. Dalla location sulla meravigliosa Piazza delle Erbe. Alle portate deliziose, ampiamente descritte dal personale competente e gentile. La famiglia ci ha donato questa cena. È stato un regalo veramente apprezzato. 😘

12/04/2025: Ambiente molto bello e pulito, personale molto gentile e disponibile, menu vario purtroppo con poca attenzione a chi ha problemi di intolleranze, buona la qualità dei piatti. Buono il rapporto prezzo qualità.

23/11/2025: Pumpkin tortelli tasted only of amaretto and not of pumpkin. It's true that the recipe is traditional Mantua, BUT it's NECESSARY to list the ingredients on the menu to prevent tourists, like me, from ordering pumpkin tortelli that taste only of amaretto, which I don't even like. Clearly, if it had been specified, I wouldn't have ordered the dish. In addition to the incredibly long wait, which is to be expected on a Sunday lunch, the staff wasn't even that friendly. A negative experience.

16/11/2025: We had lunch at this osteria last week, trying a variety of first courses, including agnolotti (which I highly recommend), pumpkin tortelli, and risotto with puntel, before finishing with coffee and sbrisolona. We were served by Andrii, whose friendliness and helpfulness certainly made our lunch even more enjoyable. Between chats, he was able to offer us the best recommendations. I recommend this place if you want to try good Mantuan food at fair prices.

24/11/2025: I didn't like the Mussolini bust that was on display at all, I definitely won't be back even if it was the last place I could eat.

26/10/2025: So... we arrived dressed for cycling, and the place was half empty. They told us it was full (at 12:45), rudely... as if we had the plague or it was a Michelin-starred restaurant. Further on, we saw the sign for "L'agriturismo Germano reale"... kindness, friendliness, and excellent food... go there!! 😉

01/12/2025: Everything was great. The food, drinks, and wine selection, but the service is top notch. No one can match the friendly welcome from the girls, but the owner, Anna, is on another level, a master of hospitality thanks to her Neapolitan origins, and I'm from Verona. There are many places, but I only go here. The friendliness is captivating.

30/11/2025: Four lousy coffees at the table 10 euros is a rip-off.
