15/06/2026: The pizza is a guarantee, with excellent dough and generous toppings. The ground-floor dining room with its frescoed walls and vaulted ceiling is worth a visit.

20/05/2026: We were treated very rudely. At first, everything seemed to be going well: we were given a table for 8 people and our drinks order was taken. However, when we wanted to order food, we were suddenly told that we all had to choose the same dish, otherwise the waiting time would be “very long.” We indicated that we simply all wanted to eat something different, which should be normal at a restaurant. Afterward, we were told that the drinks were already ready and that we had to pay for them, even though the order had literally only just been taken. A very disappointing experience due to the staff's attitude. Not recommended for us.

12/06/2026: I had been to this magnificent restaurant a few years ago, brought by a friend. Since then, I have always fondly remembered the wonderful experience. Finally, two days ago, I decided to return, after researching it online, and I came specifically from Verona for lunch. It was a sublime experience, the food wonderful, worthy of the Gonzaga court, the portions generous, and the Lambrusco wine so good I went to buy it at the winery where it is produced. Excellent service, the hosts were kind and friendly. It was a pleasure meeting them. I had come to indulge in a great meal and a treat, and I must say it was well worth it. When I awoke, even after the hearty lunch, I felt light and alert, a sign that the dishes are expertly prepared. Considering the quality and quantity, I would even consider the price reasonable. I will return and bring anyone who loves good and beautiful things.

11/07/2026: Scaravelli practically occupies the entire Piazza delle Erbe in Mantua. It houses the restaurant, divided into a ristorante and a bar area with lounge furniture, as well as a gelateria and a bakery. Everything is of a high standard, with something for everyone. A lovely spot. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, attending to every request with a customer-oriented approach. It's the perfect place to get in the mood for the concerts taking place next door in Piazza Sordello.

14/06/2026: We had dinner here before going to the Observatory, the food was delicious (tigelle and gnocco, perhaps the sauces could be improved but it's a matter of taste) but it was early and the sun was still too hot on the veranda, for the rest nothing to complain about and the prices were normal.

02/06/2026: Excellent variety of first courses. The tigelle and fried gnocco are delicious. The wait is normal. A place to definitely return.

05/04/2026: What can I say? I hadn't been there in years, and overall, I was a bit disappointed. The staff was friendly and way too fast. The food was average, with no particular highlights. The mustard wasn't really good; it tasted like cooked fruit. The dessert was basic. Overall, everything was average. I don't know if I'd go back.

05/07/2026: Very kind and welcoming staff. A charming location, an ancient and typical Mantuan osteria. Good food and very carefully prepared dishes. The pumpkin ravioli are highly recommended, but the other dishes we tried were also very good.

28/06/2026: I went to this restaurant and ordered meat, baked potatoes, and salad. Unfortunately, when they brought my dish, the meat was so tough I couldn't even cut it with a knife. Being a foreigner, it was probably obvious I wasn't a local, but I kindly asked for a change. I must say the staff was very helpful: they immediately brought me a new portion, and this time the meat was incredibly tender and delicious. I really appreciate that they resolved the issue without any arguments.
