The only flaw is that after an excellent dinner they don't make coffee. Excellent cuisine, excellent venue, excellent cleanliness, excellent hospitality.

The restaurant is right in the city center and offers both internal and external spaces under the well-furnished porticoes with simple mise ne place. The service is also simple, warm and familiar. We appreciated the mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses because we still noticed a good quality of cured meats, excellent goat cheese and also the accompanying mustard. The shank was juicy and tender and the stew, although perhaps exaggerated in spices, was also pleasant; It's a shame that instead of polenta they served us potatoes since the latter was finished... I liked the sbrisolona to finish with zabaione both because it was very full of amaretto (it's a flavor that I love) and the zabaione was also quite alcoholic. We then took a Mexican bitter since one of the owners or in any case the person who manages the place is originally from those areas and we really appreciated it. Reasonable and online price.

Have dinner in Mantua, in a cozy place full of attention for the diners. Typical Mantuan cuisine, authentic but not dressed up in tourist clothes for a dinner far from the chaos, albeit in the heart of the city. Attention to the customer, good quality food, excellent offer on the menu, traditional recipes accompanied by the good character of the owner and staff. Absolutely recommended!

Welcoming and informal tavern, excellent hospitality and great courtesy and professionalism. The staff is not from Mantua, but I write this only because everyone gets an idea when they read that they will eat typical cuisine, and at Osteria Broletto expectations are not disappointed. The food and preparations are tavern-style: plentiful, genuine, without many frills and full of substance. The three of us took a platter for two people and could have already moved on to dessert: culatello, mortadella, raw ham, salami, delicious olives and for the first time I tasted the mustard, made by them... and I fell in love with it. Then meat tortelli with butter and sage, stew with polenta and I had a grainy rice different from the usual but very particular: a peasant dish that was organized before stuffing to check that the salami paste had come out well. We also let ourselves be tempted by the dessert, two of us because we didn't have it anymore. But we gave in to a pudding with eggnog (not too sweet, very chocolatey, excellent) and a pear tart with melted chocolate. I don't know what else to add, other than that the staff was very friendly and pleasant. Excellent experience

We spent my birthday in the splendid city of Mantua, and when looking for where to have lunch, we decided to stop in this Osteria, right in the center, with a fixed or à la carte menu. We opted for the fixed menu with a trio of first courses (which I highly recommend), a glass of wine, and the local dessert, the famous sbrisolona of Mantua. For our daughter, in the midst of weaning, we asked for a side dish, a dish of sautéed potatoes. And here's the curious fact. We noticed that the cook, before preparing them, made sure with his eyes how small the little girl was and prepared boiled potatoes. We were delighted and happy to say the least. Not to mention all the staff who were incredibly kind. To anyone traveling to Mantua, we recommend this place to have lunch or dinner. And if we were to return one day, we definitely know where to return, where you really feel at home.

Small and very cute place Good excellent service or dishes. We stopped to taste typical dishes and were not disappointed. The pumpkin risotto with amaretti biscuits and the stew with polenta are very good. Advised

Osteria in pieno centro di Mantova, i tavoli sono molto vicino tra di loro . Il menù è vario le porzioni abbondanti i ravioli di zucca uno spettacolo e porzioni veramente abbondanti, anche l’antipasto al tagliere buono con prodotti della cucina mantovana come la mostarda. Di sicuro per un pranzo vale la pena ritornare. Simpatici i camerieri.

Ci siamo fermati per caso un sabato a pranzo. Il locale è piccolo e molto affollato, con tavoli vicini, per cui non è rilassante, ma il cibo era buono, con prodotti tipici della tradizione. I tortelli alla zucca ed il risotto alla zucca erano molto buoni. Il personale era gentile. Prezzi onesti.
