03/05/2026: Excellent restaurant outside Mantua. The dishes are exceptionally good value for money. The staff is friendly and attentive to their needs. Highly recommended for those in the Mantua area. The risotto alla Pilota is fantastic.

17/05/2026: Excellent restaurant serving high-quality fish and meat dishes. Ingredients are expertly paired to highlight the main ingredient. Excellent appetizers include zucchini flowers with crabmeat, sea bass ravioli, local classic pumpkin tortelli, and duck breast in strawberry grape sauce. Everything is expertly prepared and made with top-quality ingredients. The wine list is also top-notch. Prices are in line with the quality of the food offered. First courses range from €14 to €22, and second courses from €18 to €30. The side dish of baked mixed vegetables is also excellent. Worth the visit for this dish alone.

03/05/2026: A very charming location and setting, overlooking the bridge over the Mincio (a place steeped in Risorgimento reminiscences). Very attentive service, a welcoming atmosphere. The traditional dishes are excellent (I chose a menu featuring only snails, highly recommended). The game dishes are also noteworthy. Fully accessible, with convenient parking nearby. I also recommend the very charming option of beginning or ending the experience with a lovely stroll in the green area on the banks of the Mincio, accessible right from the restaurant. Highly recommended.

30/05/2026: Last night was a lovely evening with the FIGC Referees Section of Mantua. We had lunch in the courtyard. The facility is beautiful, complemented by a garden with a swimming pool. The evening's dishes were classic Mantuan dishes. They were delicious, and we even had several encores.

24/04/2026: I've been there before, but I'd only tried their entrees. This time, however, I wanted to try their pizza, and I must say I really enjoyed it. Excellent price and quality. I'll be back. Parking is available either near the restaurant, which runs along the street, or on the opposite side of the street. On weekdays, the main dining room is packed with local workers, but there's a second dining room at the entrance. Very friendly staff. Fast service.

28/06/2026: Everything was perfect. We come often, and each time we try new dishes, it's a surprise. The homemade pasta and ravioli are a guarantee. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The internal courtyard under the pergola is so charming, it feels like home!

25/06/2026: A place with a very unassuming entrance... But as soon as you open the door, you find yourself in a fabulous outdoor dining area. Only a few tables, but very cute. A family atmosphere! Excellent food at reasonable prices! A varied menu... But the real surprise is the off-menu items! Spectacular, with meat dishes (superlatives) and fish dishes (not yet tried). The wait staff makes you feel like you're at home! Highly recommended!

03/06/2026: For lunch, five of us chose traditional local cuisine. The dishes showcase excellent cuisine. Service was fairly prompt, with helpful staff attentive to detail, in a decidedly welcoming atmosphere. The wine selection was good. The price was consistent with the quantity and quality of the offerings.

01/06/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience. For two first courses and a second course, we spent around €70, a price that would have been acceptable if justified by the quality of the cuisine or the particularly charming location. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The dishes are decent, without any particular flaws but also without anything that makes them memorable. The cuisine is average, the portions are normal, and there's no attention paid to the prices. To make matters worse, the €4 cover charge per person seems frankly excessive. The impression is of an osteria that perhaps once truly represented local tradition, but today thrives primarily on tourism. You pay much more for the name than for what you get on your plate. In Mantua, you can eat better for significantly less. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend it.

Every corner is filled with things, paintings, bottles, things and more things... maybe a little too heavy, but definitely very unique😅.
