13/07/2024: Es sitio es muy bonito y caro pero lo peor es la comida que deja mucho que desear. Nunca comí una pasta en italiana tan pésima como ahí,de primero tartar que era carne recien sacada de la maquina con forma sin absolutamente nada, espaguetis con una lata de sardina de las malas sin recudir ni siquiera el aceite y tomate seco , el olor sin palabras y unas carrilleras si se puede llamar a eso también de lata, escaso, frío.. muy mal. Lo siento por que el lugar que es precioso y estaba bien recomendado . Quizá cambiaran de cocinero si a eso se puede llamar cocinar.

05/07/2024: A stone's throw from Como there is this small restaurant on a crotto from the 1700s. The dining room staff was super helpful and welcoming. All the dishes were very balanced and with high quality ingredients from Valtellina. Truly fantastic experience super recommended. Excellent local wines also in mezzena format at the right price. I'll be back.

08/07/2024: No, I usually give 5 stars, in my opinion you deserve them. Tried the place on a Saturday for lunch with my partner (à la carte, although I will return to try the route): - risotto with space anchovies garum; - noodles with nduja and coconut are good, but the risotto is better - excellent cutlet (and huge, perhaps a bit too much) - grilled sea bass that we will struggle not to catch again - haute patisserie desserts With a couple of bubbles by the glass, and excellent coffee with small pastries, we left with less than €200 in total, which in my opinion denotes excellent value for money and absolute fairness (I would have thought of spending more). So, a place I left happy

From the starter to the coffee everything was superb, food, wine, staff, place! Generous portions, we went for lunch. Above all, all super digestible, nothing heavy or that has "recurred" I hope to come back soon!

If you are looking for a trattoria for simple dishes, this is not the right place, you go here to appreciate traditional or particular flavours, but with a unique preparation that enhances the taste of any dish, with care in both preparation and presentation! The service is attentive and precise and very helpful towards customers! A superior restaurant, but without creating a cold and detached environment! For wines, the cellar has no competition! 08/07/2024: Barni restaurant with lake view, a well-known location for weddings and events. Excellent cuisine and good prices, surrounded by greenery with a terrace overlooking the lake. Exceptional service, in short I can't find any faults. To reach the restaurant I suggest first setting Barni on the navigator and once you arrive at the restaurant, if you don't follow this advice generally the navigators will suggest an impervious road passing through a narrow mule track

It felt like being at a friend's parents place- what an amazing feeling of being felt so welcome, and so well looked after with amazing ambience. All food home cooked which was delicious. A place which is a 'must-go-to" I will go back next week, when I'm back in town!

12/07/2024: The menu changes often and so perhaps I was lucky to find dishes that not everyone is looking for. Kidney, tongue and heart... Kidney as an appetizer. A delicious, very fine pâté. Then two first courses: macaroni and ravioli. Followed by a heart carpaccio that I had never eaten. A gem. The language is also very good. Both dishes very tasty with generous use of garlic. At first it struck me too much, then I understood the philosophy and enjoyed it fully. A discreet Dolcetto D'Alba to accompany it all. Well done.

10/07/2024: Leggo che il menù cambia spesso e quindi forse sono stato fortunato a trovare piatti che non tutti cercano. Rognone, lingua e cuore ... Il rognone come antipasto. Un patè delizioso, molto fine. Poi due primi: maccheroni e ravioli. A seguire un carpaccio di cuore che non avevo mai mangiato. Una chicca. Molto buona anche la lingua. Entrambi i piatti molto saporiti con uso generoso uso di aglio. All'inizio mi aveva colpito troppo, poi ho compreso la filosofia e l'ho gustato appieno. Un discreto Dolcetto D'Alba per accompaganre il tutto. Bravi.
