15/06/2025: My experience at this place was excellent, the fish was of the highest quality and having lunch with a sea view made everything even more pleasant and inviting. I had homemade trofie with shrimp and pistachios, truly exceptional, especially the sauce that was left over once the pasta was finished and which lent itself to a tasty mopping up of the pasta. The real discovery was the curry clams, a combination that I would never have said would work so well: the saltiness of the mussels went very well with the spiciness of the curry, creating a mix that was not too spicy on the palate and very pleasant. The mussels, moreover, were enormous and nice and meaty. Finally, I had the mixed grill of fish, excellent but the swordfish was something extra above everything else, I have never eaten such a good swordfish. The only flaw is that, for the price offered, some courses were a bit small in my opinion. The trofie were just the right quantity, the grill or the grilled cuttlefish, for me, insufficient. Wide and excellent wine selection, we took an exceptional Vermentino. Very kind and patient staff in satisfying the guests' requests as best as possible. For me, absolutely promoted!

30/05/2025: A wonderful discovery, located in a small village. We loved the atmosphere and the typical Italian dishes, all homemade. Our grandmother is in the kitchen. It was a real treat! The service is impeccable, fast, and courteous. Remember to make a reservation; this beautiful place gets very busy. Don't hesitate to make a detour to visit.

21/06/2025: Authentic trattoria, friendly and helpful staff, with traditional menus and excellent prices. The only flaw, which does not depend directly on the restaurant, is that on Saturdays it is not easy to find parking with only one narrow street.

28/06/2025: Good morning, I wanted to clarify the negative review written the other day and discuss the response we received, which, in my opinion, portrays us as very selfish. First of all I would like to talk about the problem we encountered with the straw, I find your point to be extremely incorrect since you judge the usefulness of the straw based on the age of the customer. As customers, we would have preferred to receive either a warning or communication of the lack of goods that we would certainly have understood more than receiving something that we could not use. The second point you mentioned was the "grappa" glass that you have been using as wine glasses for more than 40 years. The fact that you have been serving it for a long time does not imply that wine should be served in glasses. The origin of wine in glasses in Italy was already present in ancient Rome. The glass is a special glass to best enjoy wine, I am certainly not doubting your expertise in the matter but as far as we are concerned the glass you use is not suitable for serving wine. The next point I would like to address is the shrimp. I wanted to let you know that we are aware that shrimp are eaten peeled. The dark part of the shrimp was inside the shrimp and not outside. We enjoyed the service and the place, but we highly disliked the food that was served to us, giving us reasons to give our own negative opinion. "Large portions" I find to be an exaggerated term for the portions that were served to us, we didn't leave anything, of course, because we don't like waste. We didn't like the taste because we found everything not very tasty, and, looking at the other reviews left we noticed that more people had this problem and you attacked each of them. We found the price very high since we ate in better restaurants with even better quality for lower prices. We are sorry if we judged the book by its cover, also because you had really given us a good first impression.

26/06/2025: Seeing the reviews, we expected to have a nice fish dinner with a view of the dock, but instead it was not like that at all. The restaurant is honestly very nice, very particular decor, especially the ceiling, with a beautiful terrace. The staff at the service are honestly very good, kind and friendly. The food was not to our liking, we ordered four first courses and a mixed fried food, in the seafood spaghetti in particular there was a shrimp with a shell that seemed to be eating wet bread crumbs all the other shrimp were small clean without shells (obviously frozen). In the mixed fried food there were shrimp that were black but not black because they were burnt but black because they went bad smelly and the fish was dry inside. We also ordered some house white wine that was brought to us hot the first time, which was immediately remedied by bringing us another fresh carafe but we drank it in the grappa glass? Shouldn't wine be served with a glass? I don't know. Asked for a straw for the drink you brought us a mignon straw bah maybe you like small things🤣 Price more than expensive for this quality and quantity you offer, paid €28.50 per person.

02/06/2025: Ristorante dallo stile contemporaneo piacevole. Posizionato nel caratteristico budello, con affaccio sul mare. Dal tavolo assegnato in veranda, si apprezzava una piacevole vista sulla spiaggia e sui riflessi della luna sul mare. Servizio impeccabile del personale giovane e professionale. Menu' molto chiaro, completo sia per piatti di mare, sia per quelli di terra. Abbiamo optato per il mare xon portate tradizionali. Gli ordini sono arrivati nei tempi giusti e tutti insieme. Piatti presentati bene e cibo di qualità. Prezzo corretto. Esperienza da ripetere.

14/06/2025: A beautiful site not far from the sea. Built on a terraced hillside, some cycling skills are required. Some paths are quite narrow. The staff is very friendly. The restrooms are always well-cleaned. The town center is easily accessible on foot in just a few minutes.

12/06/2025: The campsite is perfectly located in Levanto with everything (beach, bars, shops, restaurants) within walking distance. In addition, the campsite looks beautiful. Unfortunately, our experience was not positive. The reception was mediocre. An uninterested employee showed us to our spot, where it seemed as if we were bothering him. At the request of the campsite, we had sent our tent sizes well in advance. However, we got a spot that was actually too small for our tent. In addition, it was right next to the sanitary building, so we could enjoy all the guests who used it in the evening, night and morning. Given the nature of the terraced campsite, the spots are also very close together. Finally, like other reviewers, we were bothered by the church bells that chimed every half hour all night long. We decided to shorten our camping trip and take accommodation elsewhere.
