It was a seafood restaurant, and since it is the home of pesto, pesto pasta was on the menu. I chose the grilled shrimp because they said they use fresh seafood, and it was delicious. The fried anchovies were also very tasty.
It was fascinating to see a mini beach right in front of the restaurant. The ocean view was beautiful.

What a fantastic seafood meal! The fried seafood platter was incredibly fresh, crispy, and perfectly cooked. Every bite of the calamari, shrimp, and small fish was flavorful without feeling too greasy. The squeeze of fresh lemon added the perfect finishing touch. The grilled seafood and vegetables were also delicious, and the chilled white wine paired beautifully with the meal. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and perfect for enjoying a leisurely lunch. Great food, excellent quality, and friendly service—I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to seafood lovers!

Food was actually quite good. Small portions. No vegan options though. Beautiful place to sit. The staff is oddly successful at making you feel unwelcome. Too bad.

We stumbled upon this Osteria by chance. We sat at a table outside, finishing a fruit snack purchased at another restaurant on the beach, while waiting for the stuffed focaccia (excellent!!) we'd ordered here to be ready.
The "Boss" came over to rightfully point out that we were violating his safety measures.
His kindness in addressing us and a plate of "real fried" (properly fried) fish, offered by him, left us with fond memories of this lunch in the splendid setting of Boccadasse.

### Mixed Experience but Nice Location
While exploring the area, we came across this little café gem. The experience was a mix of enjoyment and disappointment.
After sitting down, two of the girls seemed to avoid serving us and completely avoided eye contact, which made things feel a bit uncomfortable until an Italian lady came over and kindly helped us.
The café itself is in a lovely location with a really nice atmosphere. The food was okay, although slightly on the expensive side — €12 for a focaccia with pesto and mozzarella felt a little overpriced for what it was.
Overall, the place has potential and the setting is nice enough that we may give it another try in the future to see if the service improves.
