21/06/2025: An authentic discovery in the heart of Liguria: La Rosa di Sussisa is a trattoria where you eat divinely, thanks to a typical Ligurian cuisine that respects tradition and enhances the flavors of the territory. A big round of applause to Mr. Ennio, an old-time owner, who welcomes guests with kindness and passion as if they were at home. The staff, both in the kitchen and in the dining room, is attentive, friendly and contributes to making the experience even more pleasant. A sincere, genuine place, absolutely worth the trip.

17/06/2025: We tried the focaccia with mixed cold cuts, the pansoti and the ravioli. Everything was really delicious, very nice location and very kind staff. We will be back soon!

21/06/2025: Recommended by the b&b where we stayed, we went to this trattoria that is very popular with locals. We had a great time, you eat very well with an excellent quality/price ratio. I recommend you book, we will definitely be back

01/07/2025: With my wife and a family of two friends we had dinner at this wonderful trattoria serving typical Ligurian cuisine located in the hamlet of Sant’Apollinare on the heights of Sori. We sat at one of the few tables on the outdoor terrace overlooking the sea and the promontory of Portofino. To get to the restaurant from Sori go up and head towards Sant’Apollinare and there is a small parking lot next to the Church but it is generally always full so you can park on the road below that leads to Sori. To have an outdoor table even during the week in summer they advised us to book at least 15 days in advance!!! We ordered; As an appetizer 2 focaccias with crido ham and stracchino, a focaccia with gorgonzola and Ligurian panissa similar in taste to chickpea farinata, which is in fact prepared with chickpea flour and water (without adding oil to the dough), to be eaten cold or fried. For starters: Trofie di farina bianca al pesto, pansoti alla salsa di noce (which our friend didn’t like) For main courses: 3 mixed grilled meats with chicken, pork loin, sausage, skewers For dessert: 2 lemon ice creams, a tiramisu and an amaretto semifreddo As mentioned, we were very satisfied with the starters, for the first courses except for the pansoti, for the second courses, the meat was delicious, abundant and for the desserts. The staff was welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful and the service was attentive, fast and the price was fair for the quality of the dishes. 17/06/2025: Ristorante trattoria situata a San Lorenzo. Cibo nella media, nulla di entusiasmante. Pansotti e trofie deludenti, buona la carne. Peccato per il servizio, lento e confusionario. Piatti serviti con lunghi tempi d’attesa e in momenti diversi lasciando diversi commensali senza mangiare. Cameriere gentili. Consigliato per i prezzi bassi per una cena senza pretese

28/05/2025: I recommend La trattoria da Paladini to anyone who wants to celebrate an important event or even just a day with friends polite staff Excellent menu For each course they asked if we wanted an encore It was my thirtieth wedding anniversary They set up our table With two large hearts hanging The lady made a beautiful two-tier cake Plus on the cake there was a couple of newlyweds from Thun which was given to me with the box included They created a beautiful, familiar and very suggestive environment A heartfelt thank you ❤️

18/06/2025: Davvero eccezionale, in pieno centro a Genova e piatti tipici davvero ottimi. A disposizione nostra per le richieste dei nostri due figli poco propensi ad assaggiare cose nuove 🥲 staff gentilissimo, tutti quanti. Grazie dal bambino sardo fissato con Mbappe 🤣 super consigliato!

05/06/2025: I have never used the place, and I never will. I received rudeness just because I was drinking a gin and tonic in front of it, it's shameful. Not even if I raised my voice or did any impudent act towards public decorum. A worker from the place approached me and said: "go away". The street is not yours and if you have problems in your private life you shouldn't take it out on someone who passes by there by chance, without any reason.

16/06/2025: As soon as we arrived we were immediately struck by the welcome of the owner who was at the cash register. Even though there were still free tables outside, he seemed annoyed to give us the table even if we had not booked. Completely frozen fish, both grilled and soup. Questionable quality and not even a goodbye greeting. Hospitality like a finished rice cake

14/06/2025: We went there on the recommendation of the hotelier where we were staying for a visit to the city. The restaurant is located in a small alley of a main street. Given the alley, a table inside the restaurant is recommended. The entrance is on the balcony and you are immediately welcomed by the dining room staff and thanks to the reservation we did not have to wait and were immediately accompanied to the table. The room is sometimes air-conditioned with good lighting and also the noise was not high; the wine list is quite varied as proposed in addition to the house wine in bulk. We had two first courses, trofie with pesto, green beans and potatoes and testaroli with walnut sauce, satisfying courses followed by two courses of fried anchovies, some frisceu and some paniaette. The wait for the courses is also good, allowing you to chat among the diners and observe the beautiful restaurant with pleasure. I would only recommend describing the course at the moment it is brought to the table. The price paid is approximately average for the quality of the food as well as the place itself.

05/05/2025: Abbiamo trascorso il pranzo della vigilia del 24 dicembre all’Antica Trattoria da Ruscin, ed è stata un’esperienza davvero positiva. Atmosfera calda e accogliente, perfetta per una giornata speciale come quella natalizia. Il menù proposto era ricco e ben studiato, con piatti tradizionali preparati con cura. Tutto era gustoso, dalle portate iniziali fino ai dolci. Il servizio è stato attento e gentile, nonostante il locale fosse al completo. Una serata piacevole, in un ambiente familiare che ha saputo farci sentire a casa. Da tenere sicuramente in considerazione anche per future occasioni.

15/06/2025: Tuve una experiencia encantadora en este establecimiento, es un poco formal en la decoración, pero esto se suma al encanto del restaurante, el servicio fue impecable por parte de las dos camareras muy amables, que hablaban muy buen inglés, lo que ayudó a explicar el menú, que es predominantemente a base de pescado, parece atraer a muchos lugareños que solo podía escuchar acentos italianos. Teníamos el vino de la casa que era muy bueno y solo 6 euros por 1/2 litro El menú está lleno de platos clásicos La comida era excelente teníamos un risotto de mejillones, almejas y langostinos cocinados perfectamente, nuestro plato principal tenía una nota explicando el tiempo de cocción de 30 minutos, cuando llegó el besugo con papas y aceitunas estaba delicioso cocinado con cuidado y amor. Sin duda volveremos antes del final de nuestras vacaciones un punto culminante culinario

21/05/2025: Our favourite restaurant throughout our 2.5 weeks trip around Europe! The restaurant manager or owner (unsure of which) was the most helpful we’ve ever experienced where he took us through the menu and his recommendations. The real highlight though was the food itself - not only the best we had in Italy, but also super affordable! The walnut sauce pasta and seafood pastas were to die for. Highly recommend this place, 11/10!!!
