28/06/2025: Good morning, I wanted to clarify the negative review written the other day and discuss the response we received, which, in my opinion, portrays us as very selfish. First of all I would like to talk about the problem we encountered with the straw, I find your point to be extremely incorrect since you judge the usefulness of the straw based on the age of the customer. As customers, we would have preferred to receive either a warning or communication of the lack of goods that we would certainly have understood more than receiving something that we could not use. The second point you mentioned was the "grappa" glass that you have been using as wine glasses for more than 40 years. The fact that you have been serving it for a long time does not imply that wine should be served in glasses. The origin of wine in glasses in Italy was already present in ancient Rome. The glass is a special glass to best enjoy wine, I am certainly not doubting your expertise in the matter but as far as we are concerned the glass you use is not suitable for serving wine. The next point I would like to address is the shrimp. I wanted to let you know that we are aware that shrimp are eaten peeled. The dark part of the shrimp was inside the shrimp and not outside. We enjoyed the service and the place, but we highly disliked the food that was served to us, giving us reasons to give our own negative opinion. "Large portions" I find to be an exaggerated term for the portions that were served to us, we didn't leave anything, of course, because we don't like waste. We didn't like the taste because we found everything not very tasty, and, looking at the other reviews left we noticed that more people had this problem and you attacked each of them. We found the price very high since we ate in better restaurants with even better quality for lower prices. We are sorry if we judged the book by its cover, also because you had really given us a good first impression.

26/06/2025: Seeing the reviews, we expected to have a nice fish dinner with a view of the dock, but instead it was not like that at all. The restaurant is honestly very nice, very particular decor, especially the ceiling, with a beautiful terrace. The staff at the service are honestly very good, kind and friendly. The food was not to our liking, we ordered four first courses and a mixed fried food, in the seafood spaghetti in particular there was a shrimp with a shell that seemed to be eating wet bread crumbs all the other shrimp were small clean without shells (obviously frozen). In the mixed fried food there were shrimp that were black but not black because they were burnt but black because they went bad smelly and the fish was dry inside. We also ordered some house white wine that was brought to us hot the first time, which was immediately remedied by bringing us another fresh carafe but we drank it in the grappa glass? Shouldn't wine be served with a glass? I don't know. Asked for a straw for the drink you brought us a mignon straw bah maybe you like small things🤣 Price more than expensive for this quality and quantity you offer, paid €28.50 per person.

10/06/2025: Live up to the Michelin star rating (5), simply a delight. Not expensive at all. Highly recommended!

09/06/2025: Scenographic appetizer but a bit too scanty. Shrimps not cleaned from intestines (black "sandy" trace on the back) Cooked from frozen? Inside they were watery!!! The rest of the fried food ok. The only saving grace is dessert.

27/06/2025: Food was below par for Italian standards in my opinion the ravioli tasted like it came out of a can and the calamari was like rubber. The service was below par in our opinion it took a very long time the dishes came sporadically on the table with some tables that were occupied it seemed like there was no structure with serving dishes.

24/06/2025: Dinner based on pizzas, focaccias and farinata. The stuffings are excellent, the dough is formidable!

29/06/2025: A stop in Lavagna, all a surprise from the equipped beach comfortable and well served. Discovering this splendid restaurant with simple cuisine and for good Taste, with professional and kind staff. Value for money 10.

17/06/2025: A casual seafood restaurant located in front of the fishing boat dock and the ferry point. Ask for special of the day. They gave us a few choices and we ordered the tuna spaghetti w tomato. Simple but wonderful! The frito misto was also very nice. Thin crispy batter with just a hint of salt. Very fresh assorted fish and squid. The pesto pasta was also superb. Service is exceptional considering this is a touristy place. Attentive without being condescending. We were the last 2 table at lunch service and there was no hurry to chase us away. Definately an easy restaurant to eat in. Great experience.

15/06/2025: Oh my god what a great place! Great food, great service (very helpful ) and brilliant vibe! The owner is a great character and full of bounce and happiness. Loved this place so much and a big thank you to all the staff !

Everything was really good, top food, excellent service and super polite waiters, good wine list and unfortunately I didn't have photos of the seafood scialatielli wow wow... 😋 relaxing atmosphere on the port of Savona... Wonderful family management!!! well done to your son Edoardo and his Dad for the magic you bring out of the kitchen... I'll be back whenever I can!

13/06/2025: Stumbled upon it by chance, a wonderful discovery. In the heart of the Savona marina. Very kind staff, fast and very attentive service. During the week, fixed lunch menu with many seafood options. Truly satisfied.
