03/05/2026: This restaurant is beautiful, interesting, and charming, with beautiful, stunning rooms to sleep in. Excellent, delicious culatello, the most famous Parma food. The staff, both men and women, are excellent, welcoming their kind customers. I highly recommend this restaurant. The ghost of fumera', which in dialect means fog, is here. It's a playful spirit that wanders around at night when the fog falls, swaying the food hanging in the oldest cellars as it passes. 26/04/2026: Dinner for two at a Michelin-starred restaurant. We ordered the tasting menu of various culatelli (€150 per person), and the food was truly excellent. Despite the kindness and helpfulness of the waiters, the service was very slow at various points during the dinner: we arrived at 8:15 PM and got up at 12:10 AM. Regardless, we'd recommend the place.

08/04/2026: We booked online, which worked very well. The service staff was exceptionally good and friendly. We also really liked the atmosphere. You can sit both inside and outside. The appetizers were delicious, though more Middle Eastern than Italian. The tortellini cacio e pepe with shrimp was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the steak medium, but it was more rare, too much meat, and no side dishes, so I ordered a salad instead. The rosé wine was very good. It was a lovely evening.

12/07/2026: The menu is limited, but everything is delicious and homemade. The prices are very reasonable. You can also order second or third courses. Negative notes: I was quite disappointed with the white wine on tap and the desserts, and the roast beef wasn't great.

10/07/2026: We arrived from a road trip from Bologna to this welcoming restaurant run by a very friendly and attentive owner. Even though he doesn't speak English, you can feel his warmth and attention to detail in all his service. The food was excellent, there's parking nearby, and if we can, we'll definitely return.

10/07/2026: This is the very best restaurant in the area. If I could give 6 stars, I would have. The food is incredibly flavorful. Good portions and good timing between courses. The staff is attentive and very sweet. You feel more than welcome! They are all up for a chat. We went here twice during our week in Bologna. You absolutely must eat here!

12/07/2026: One of the last places where you can eat traditional food. No fish, no pizza; the specialty is meat, especially boiled and roasted meats. Reservations are highly recommended for both dinner and lunch. Prices are fair for what you get. Ask for the daily specials, which vary seasonally. Fast service, highly recommended.

11/07/2026: I had a truly wonderful time at Trattoria da Probo: local cuisine prepared with modern care. Tagliatelle, a tribute to the season, cappelletti with a sweet broth and a savory Parmesan filling, and dry and fragrant gnocco fritto accompanied by Sant'Ilario and culatello. Even the sbrisolona—and Stefano himself recommended it, looking for a partner in crime: “𝑔𝑢𝑎𝑟𝑑𝑎 𝑐ℎ𝑒 𝑒𝑑𝑎𝑣𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑜 𝑏𝑢𝑜𝑛𝑎, 𝑐𝑒 𝑙𝑎𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑎𝑚𝑜 𝑑𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑒.” The wine list was a surprise, an unexpected plus: as far as I'm concerned, almost all the best local labels. 09/06/2026: A country trattoria like those of old. Unfortunately, I visited on a Monday evening, when they only serve torta fritta, cured meats, and pasta dishes. But I say "unfortunately" only because I was unsatisfied by the desire to try everything else. Top quality, friendly and efficient service, exceptional value. Not to be missed, especially if you want to sample the specialties of the Parma, Piacenza, and Cremona area, such as culatello, of course, but also the amazing spalla, both raw and cooked.

03/06/2026: Wonderful restaurant inside, excellent, professional service. Excellent ingredients, meticulously prepared dishes. Divinely delicious boiled meat served with their mixed saline. Delicious first courses. Ditto the desserts. The meticulously maintained restaurant begs to be photographed, it's wonderful. The price is certainly not cheap...but it's worth it. The boiled meat cost €29. But the price is absolutely justified. We'll definitely be back.
