The appetizers were delicious, though more Middle Eastern than Italian. The tortellini cacio e pepe with shrimp was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the steak medium, but it was more rare, too much meat, and no side dishes, so I ordered a salad instead. The rosé wine was very good. It was a lovely evening.

07/04/2026: Lunch with friends on a cold February Sunday. The place is lovely, traditional, and welcoming. Plenty of staff, but the service isn't very attentive. As for wine, there are few, cumbersome menus, huge and cumbersome to navigate. We started lunch without even choosing a wine...we asked at least three times. The food was average; we chose the classic Arnaldo menu. We had high hopes for the boiled meats, but when they were served, they were lukewarm, and to top it off, we all felt sick the next day. We had high hopes, but unfortunately, they weren't met. What a shame.

04/04/2026: What a great hidden gem. We didn’t have reservation but the owner said to show up at 9pm as some people book months in advance and sometimes they don’t show up. We were lucky and was able to eat their. The wait worth it.

29/03/2026: Very nice place, with a true trattoria feel. The staff is very kind, helpful, and very friendly. The tortelli are delicious, as are the gnocco fritto and desserts. The prices are very reasonable. Ample parking and outdoor seating. Reservations recommended.

15/03/2026: For our first dinner at this restaurant, we were thrilled! Reggio's culinary tradition is a shining example here, leaving you speechless, but only briefly, given the excellent menu options. The fried gnocco (in Reggio they say "il" gnocco, not "lo" gnocco) is amazing, as are the cured meats. I then literally savoured the pork cheek on a bed of vegetables, so much so that, at the end, the plate was so clean it didn't even need washing. I finished with a generous slice of zuppa inglese, which moved me because its flavour reminded me of when my mother used to make it and I would steal the cocoa cream... So many slaps! In short, everything was perfect! We'll definitely be back, especially because the service is truly excellent and the price is more than fair.

22/03/2026: A warm and welcoming, harmonious atmosphere, a warm welcome from the owner, courteous and generous in sharing the history of his cuisine, a young, polite, and qualified staff, and a food rich in family traditions—authentic, essential, yet full-bodied, with pasta and sauces featuring traditional flavors, an exquisite vegetarian dish, and a magnificent Chianina steak tartare with au gratin egg. The wine selection was simple, "ready to drink" (as Veronelli puts it) but equally authentic. Perhaps the apple fritters need revisiting, while the almond-flavored "sherry" reminded me of the liqueur from my wild cherries in alcohol: a magical elixir. It was truly a pleasure having lunch with you.

28/03/2026: Recommended and tried!!! A simple trattoria with home cooking! Tasty and delicious! We ordered a selection of cured meats with torta fritta, a caramel filled with taleggio and culatello, and an off-menu version of pumpkin-filled mezzelune (half-moons) served with Zola cream and walnut crumble, which was out of this world! Then, to top it all off, we ordered a main course with mariolina, homemade mashed potatoes, and also amazing sauces! Definitely highly recommended! I'll be back ✨

21/03/2026: Simply... the temple of torta fritta with cured meats. Culatello of various ages, spalla cruda, and strolghino of excellent quality and at a price within everyone's reach. And here you can drink a good Fortana.

08/04/2026: Top restaurant! The food is definitely among the best I've ever had in an Italian restaurant. The pasta was cooked to perfection and seasoned superbly – they truly brought out the maximum flavor. Especially with pasta, which often seems simple, you realize how difficult it is to prepare it in a truly outstanding way – here, they absolutely nailed it. The tiramisu was also fantastic. As a special treat, you even get a small bottle of homemade pistachio liqueur at the end – simply magnificent. The prices for the dishes average between €13 and €17, and the value for money is truly excellent. The ambiance is very pleasant: rather unassuming from the outside, but cozy and charming inside in its own unique way. The staff is also exceptionally friendly – ​​even to non-Italians, which isn't always a given. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. However, you should definitely make a reservation during peak hours.

Pumpkin tortelli, tortelli with culatello, truffle gnocchi, and chicken cacciatore are all rich in flavor and beautifully blended with aromas. The prosciutto and grilled vegetables are excellent.
