12/10/2025: Generally, the food was good, but this time we found the first courses' portions too small, and the cheeks were unfortunately very salty in all the portions we ordered. The desserts were average for a medium-high bill. I'd suggest paying more attention to the menu and varying the second courses as well.

06/10/2025: So happy we came across this gem. I cannot rave about the pesto gnocchi enough!! And our waitress (possibly the owner, I'm not entirely sure) was absolutely amazing and hilarious. You can tell she truly loves her job and interacting with people. As well as the rest of the staff that we had met, even though we are Canadians and don't really speak any Italian they tried to actually communicate with us and make us feel welcome. #2 best gnocchi I've ever had, right behind my Italian noni's!

31/10/2025: I visited Corte Pallavicina last Sunday during the "Salumi da Re" (Cold Meats Festival), where there were many cured meat producers you could taste. Very interesting to visit.

18/10/2025: A piece of Italian history not to be missed. When you arrive and are greeted with professionalism and kindness, you feel right at home. I highly recommend a visit to the Spigaroli family safe. There are no words to describe this incredible experience.

11/09/2025: A wonderful place worth the 45-minute drive it took me to get there. Excellent food, super-fast service. Extraordinary owner and waiters. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY. Don't miss the sweet brick cake to finish off a wonderful dinner in an extraordinary way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

03/09/2025: We had a wonderful experience dining at Il Barolino in Carpi. The waitstaff was attentive and offered excellent recommendations. The food was outstanding, and we’ll definitely be returning to Il Barolino. Absolutely loved it!

08/10/2025: Fantastic food and real Italian atmosphere! We were four adults and five children who ate here, and everyone was very happy. The adults had two courses and dessert – everything was absolutely delicious! The Tortelli di Zucca with pumpkin, butter and sage was a clear favorite – silky soft pasta and perfect taste. Also Tagliatelle alla bolognese and Vitello tonnato were top class. The desserts, especially Tiramisù and Torta meringata al limone, were among the best we have tasted. Nice and quiet atmosphere, friendly service and very good price for the quality. A place with real Italian soul – highly recommended! 🇮🇹

21/08/2025: One of the last places where you can eat traditional food. No fish, no pizza; the specialty is meat, especially boiled and roasted meats. Reservations are highly recommended for both dinner and lunch. Prices are fair for what you get. Ask for the daily specials, which vary seasonally. Fast service, highly recommended.

11/10/2025: A sublime lunch, from another era, and for that very reason, much appreciated. Care and passion go into everything served. A plus is the delightful sommelier, who explained the wines to us with love and passion. Yes, it's perhaps more expensive than average, but it's definitely worth a try.

04/10/2025: An absolutely stunning restaurant and definitely the best I’ve experienced in Emilia on this trip. Everything reflects a deep respect for tradition and for the ingredients themselves. I truly enjoyed the staff who wheeled out the carts and introduced the wine list, they were all excellent. However, the woman at the cashier, wearing American Vans sneakers, was strikingly out of place. At checkout she didn’t even bother to say thanks, which stood in sharp contrast to the rest of the team. This wasn’t a matter of professionalism, but rather pure ignorance and disrespect.

21/10/2025: Characterful and welcoming atmosphere near the Soragna fortress. They offer top-notch cuisine, and they never miss a beat. Excellent value for money, and friendly, family-friendly service. Anolini, tagliatelle with mushrooms, two pairs of tortelli, tripe and fried mushrooms, zuppa inglese, and homemade cakes, along with coffee, nocino, and bargnolino liqueur.

02/11/2025: Great atmosphere, friendly service, and the staff pamper you as they explain the dishes. The appetizers are amazing, creative, and refined, yet respectful of tradition. The first courses are in line with the appetizers. The price is in line with the dishes and the atmosphere. I can't wait to return.

11/10/2025: Overall, a good experience, but one of the dishes was mediocre (garganelli with gorgonzola). The concept is a bit misleading: the restaurant's visual identity (font, logo, etc.) gives the impression of a very casual place, while in reality, it's a fairly formal restaurant with medium-high prices. The waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable, and the entrée was much appreciated. The interior ambience is pleasant.

10/10/2025: The food was truly delicious. Mini rolls and pasta, all freshly made. Not too touristy and with an authentic vibe. The ravioli was one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended if you don't like crowded tourist terraces.

01/10/2025: We spotted this osteria from the street. We walked in and were speechless: an open-plan kitchen, a historic shop with period paintings on the walls, traditional dishes made entirely by hand (tagliatelle with white ragù, piadina) accompanied by the highest-quality ingredients (squaquerone, smoked Angus fillet, grilled meats), and always homemade desserts. A paradise for "eating well." Highly recommended.

10/10/2025: An excellent traditional osteria! Fast service and good Bolognese food at a reasonable price! I went with a group of colleagues for a business lunch, and we agreed on a €30 menu with an appetizer, two first courses (the balanzoni were a real treat!), a petroniana with potatoes, a homemade tart, drinks, and coffee. Recommended!

05/10/2025: We didn't get to try anything. We arrived from the toll road, and the place was supposedly full. There were plenty of empty tables, though. But they explained to us that everything was booked. We had to find another place. I think this is the most popular place in this town. The dishes look very beautiful and interesting. The panzir are all local. The waiters and the manager are colorful Italian men over 60. Overall, I recommend it to everyone, as long as there are seats.

18/10/2025: We had lunch for the first time at this trattoria, recommended by friends. We came with friends and were all thrilled. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it. The staff is qualified and friendly; I'd give the friendliness award to Valentina. Thanks for everything (very good).
