Great lunch with friends! We ate very well, and the service was attentive and fast! We'll definitely be back.

Excellent food, friendly and helpful staff

They probably added the wine to the rice at the last minute because it tasted a bit vinegary and was undercooked. The chips, on the other hand, were a little burnt. Other than that, the cutlet was good.

Everything was excellent, abundant dishes, like being at grandma's house 😍

Trattoria Nonna Emilia in San Donato is a true discovery. The staff is simply wonderful: welcoming, attentive, and capable of making you feel right at home. The elephant ears with mortadella and squacquerone are truly excellent, a dish worth the visit alone. Here, you can experience tradition, with authentic flavors and a quality evident in every dish. A special place where taste and traditional cuisine are the true protagonists. Highly recommended.

A trattoria with the Rimini-style "always busy" formula, distinguished by its fast (very competent) service, generous and plentiful dishes, and medium-high quality. The winter tartare, saffron risotto, and elephant ear are excellent. Unfortunately, the tagliatelle (they should be your "specialty" GRANDMA!) are less good, both for the way they're rolled (machine-rolled despite what's advertised) and for the ragù. I kindly recommend Nonna Emilia to take a trip to Emilia-Romagna to refresh her recipe. For example, stop by Bologna: La Gigina, da Luciano, Serghei; Osteria San Pietro. In Romagna: Trattoria Acquarola, La Sangiovesa, Zaghini, la Canonica, and... so on and so forth... In any case, I'll be back because that's really the only criticism I can make, hoping for a turnaround! Bravo!
