20/05/2026: We went for dinner twice and the owner treated us very well. We wanted a light dinner both times and he didn't hesitate to help us put together our meal. You have to try the fennel (finocchio) salad with orange—it's delicious, with a surprisingly good flavor! A very pleasant place, and the friendliness of the owner and staff is outstanding. I definitely recommend it!

We visited this splendid trattoria last night and can only offer our sincerest compliments to the entire staff, especially the owner. It's an authentic trattoria, with meticulous attention to detail, that immediately makes you feel at home, and where everything exudes the authentic Calabrian flavor. We were truly impressed by the setting and the food: The Cuisine: Everything was simply exquisite. The dishes are plentiful and of the highest quality, from the homemade pasta to the grilled meats, cooked to perfection on the beautiful open grill. The Ambience and Service: The service was incredibly fast, welcoming, and attentive. The location is truly meticulously maintained and even has a playground, a fantastic feature for families traveling with children. A special thank you for your exceptional kindness: Unfortunately, the evening took an unexpected turn when my daughter became ill from heatstroke during the day, preventing us from finishing our dinner. In a moment of obvious apprehension for us, the owner showed empathy and old-fashioned sensitivity, making a point of easing us into a price. Finding such excellent food combined with such customer care and profound humanity is an absolute rarity. We will definitely return to enjoy the dinner from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Typical and regional Calabrian cuisine, both meat and fish, along with fabulous pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. Michele, the owner, and his very kind, welcoming, professional, and attentive staff. I highly recommend it...a beautiful place in our area 🥇🥇🔝🔝🤩🤩🫡🫡😎😎

07/05/2026: Amazing views, very polite and friendly family run hotel. Nothing is to much trouble, nice clean rooms, great breakfast, on site bodega. They ran a free shuttle to a local restaurant with local music and owned and run by the same family, lovely evening out. Highly recommended.

It felt like returning to a place that always knows how to make important moments special. The friendliness of the owners and staff, their professionalism, and their attention to detail make this place truly unique. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, perfect for a heartfelt celebration; the organization was impeccable in every way. The cuisine deserves special mention: carefully prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and a perfect balance between flavor and presentation. Every course was appreciated by all the guests, a decisive factor in the success of the event. It's rare to find a venue capable of maintaining the same level of excellence over time: here, quality is a testament. A reference point for memorable occasions, which I recommend without hesitation.

21/05/2026: We were at this restaurant. I highly recommend it. Patrizia made us feel at home with simple, authentic dishes. We only had an appetizer, but it was a journey through the flavors of Calabria. The food was plentiful and everything was delicious.

16/05/2026: Delicious food. You can taste authentic Calabrian cuisine here. We ordered antipasti, and that's where we should have stopped, as the portion was really big for two people. But I have to admit, the two main courses were equally delicious. The service was great! We highly recommend this place! It's worth making a reservation in advance, as seating is hard to find.

24/04/2026: We returned with my family because we had an excellent culinary experience, and they never disappoint. A must-visit very close to the Sanctuary of Natuzza Evolo. Everything was delicious. The owner, a welcoming and very kind gentleman, is one of the few who still manages to preserve typical Calabrian dishes and traditions. The appetizer was plentiful, and the homemade fileja was truly spectacular. The appetizer and main course were accompanied by plenty of wine and bread, all excellent ingredients, and the price was fair at less than €30 per person. We'll be returning often.

01/06/2026: Since 2022, we've been coming to Trope regularly, and Pinturicchio is a must-visit. You receive a warm Italian welcome; the locals seem to enjoy being guests, and the food is consistently good… our children have always been welcome and happy.

31/05/2026: Dinner for two, the most beautiful location we've seen in Tropea. Exceptional raw seafood and pasta. Impeccable staff, our compliments to Salvatore! An absolute must-see.

15/05/2026: A great restaurant in Tropea Old Town, especially known for their steaks. I had the Grilled Tournedos from Beef with truffle and sides, amazing! Nice atmosphere in an alley and perfect service. We really recommend a visit.
