04/01/2025: Room with rustic furnishings but attention to detail. All dishes ordered exceeded our expectations. The attention to the raw material is evident. The service is also excellent.

02/01/2025: Large parties can sometimes set the stage for a bad experience. We were a party of 17. Our server was a sweetheart, very gracious and accommodating to my carrot allergy. The food, staff, and experience was the highlight of my trip to beautiful Bologna. The service was stupendous and a special shout out to our server. I wish I would have gotten her name. To thank her for being so lovely with us and making this experience much more memorable.

07/01/2025: Very good. It's not the best I've ever heard, but overall it's the best trattoria I've been to in Bologna. Everything good, fast service, nice and welcoming place. Too bad there's no boiled meat. Prices normal.

06/01/2025: We went to eat here for Epiphany. At the entrance they welcomed us really kindly and it was already a good start. We ordered passatelli in broth as a first course: the best I've eaten since I've been in Bologna. We then shared a stuffed guinea fowl: it was truly spectacular, with really tasty side dishes of chicory and potatoes. Very kind and helpful staff. Cozy atmosphere. Overall, a very positive experience. We will definitely be back.

31/12/2024: I was in this restaurant last night, almost by mistake. I booked at the last minute, but the owner was very kind and found us a table anyway. We had a great time, 😅 friendly staff, excellent food from starters to desserts, very welcoming place and superb wine. Very honest price, we will definitely return.

28/12/2024: I admit that it wasn't the first choice for that evening in Bologna, but the other restaurant had two shifts of service, one too early and the second a little late. But I thank chance, because it made us discover this wonder! Small and delightful atmosphere. We were served by the owner (I think) who conveyed friendliness, cheerfulness, but above all passion for her work. We started with the sangiovese risotto: I'm just saying that it MUST be tasted! Divine Then we shared the Bolognese cutlet and my partner said that next time (because there will definitely be a next time!) he will take it whole, without dividing it. A delight. To finish, I made the soft Sangiovese cake and he made the pear cooked in Pignoletto with melted chocolate on top. Very good A glass of... Sangiovese for him and a white for me (it was good, but I admit I don't remember what it was) We can't wait to return to Bologna to eat here again I also recommended it to a couple of friends from Bologna who didn't know it

14/01/2025: There were 4 of us, unanimous opinion: refined place, with the right combination of quality and price. Excellent first courses, high quality second courses, very kind staff. I don't give 5 to the environmental context: the restaurant is located at the foot of a residential urban area, unsuitable for a restaurant of this standing.

22/01/2025: I found this restaurant through a discount app. I came on a couple of occasions because the things I wanted to try were different. The first time I took the balanzoni, the gramigna, the cutlet and the friggione, all very good especially the friggione and the cutlet, the second time we took tagliatelle, lasagna and braised beef with Sangiovese, and this time too everything was good but I must say that the braised crazy, very tender, maybe a little too much wine, because it was very intense but the meat was really excellent. The staff on both occasions was very professional and kind, fast service and a very nice and nice place.

Very central location even if a little secluded in the alleys, it offers very... compact environments, so to speak... When full it's a little claustrophobic, but that's for the type of place. Interesting dishes, even if no wow effect. Very "slow" lasagna and gramigna that has been cooked a little. Definitely good cutlet, while the potatoes did not satisfy us completely. Balanced service in times and ways. Average cost, I would say the right amount... Booking required.

14/01/2025: Unire l'informalità alla cura dei dettagli è decisamente una cosa per pochi eletti, e questo luogo ne è la positiva conferma. Il sorriso è una cosa che non manca dall'accesso all'uscita e si sposa perfettamente con i sapori del posto, che per quanto tradizionali, mostrano una sapienza negli accostamenti che è tutt'altro che scontata e banale. La qualità dei cibi è molto alta e nulla ha da invidiare a luoghi più blasonati. Assolutamente suggerito anzi, citando qualcuno del luogo direi "very nice".

Of all the days we spent in the city, it was definitely the best restaurant experience. The food is worthy of the culinary fame that accompanies the city of Bologna. The service was very courteous and carried out with great care, despite the language barrier. I write this review after more than 8 years of our trip, planning a return to the city and, of course, to the restaurant.
