10/12/2024: It proves to be spectacular. I hadn't been there in a while and it exceeded my memories and expectations with pleasure. Very charming village and restaurant with a homely atmosphere. Truly delicious food and staff who complete the experience with passion, professionalism, kindness and friendliness, making you feel at home. Prices absolutely normal for Bologna.

30/11/2024: Si mangia bene in questo locale, dove si respira aria di storia e tradizione. Il servizio è un po’ confusionario e i prezzi forse un po’ alti, ma siamo stati comunque molto bene. Barriere architettoniche importanti: gli ambienti sono posti su più piani, con scale ripide e livelli diversi. Il borgo circostante è magico e vale una passeggiata!

21/12/2024: Elegant and slightly retro restaurant, as if time had stopped there, but we liked it for this very reason. Where you find the flavors of the past, the fast and discreet service of attentive staff (thanks to the very kind Carolina who served us), with the scent of grandmother's home cooking. Everything was really good, the fresh handmade pasta, the bill was fair and honest. The external courtyard is cute. Absolutely recommended.

14/12/2024: Very well-kept location. They reserved us a very intimate room separate from the other tables where the noise was practically zero and therefore very easy to talk. The menu is good, but the food didn't convince me. Especially the Bolognese cutlet, which was not too tasty, and the potatoes a little hard. The bread however was very good. The dining room staff is very friendly and polite in listening to the customer. Perfect service Prices a little high compared to the quality offered

06/01/2025: We went to eat here for Epiphany. At the entrance they welcomed us really kindly and it was already a good start. We ordered passatelli in broth as a first course: the best I've eaten since I've been in Bologna. We then shared a stuffed guinea fowl: it was truly spectacular, with really tasty side dishes of chicory and potatoes. Very kind and helpful staff. Cozy atmosphere. Overall, a very positive experience. We will definitely be back.

31/12/2024: I was in this restaurant last night, almost by mistake. I booked at the last minute, but the owner was very kind and found us a table anyway. We had a great time, 😅 friendly staff, excellent food from starters to desserts, very welcoming place and superb wine. Very honest price, we will definitely return.

28/12/2024: I admit that it wasn't the first choice for that evening in Bologna, but the other restaurant had two shifts of service, one too early and the second a little late. But I thank chance, because it made us discover this wonder! Small and delightful atmosphere. We were served by the owner (I think) who conveyed friendliness, cheerfulness, but above all passion for her work. We started with the sangiovese risotto: I'm just saying that it MUST be tasted! Divine Then we shared the Bolognese cutlet and my partner said that next time (because there will definitely be a next time!) he will take it whole, without dividing it. A delight. To finish, I made the soft Sangiovese cake and he made the pear cooked in Pignoletto with melted chocolate on top. Very good A glass of... Sangiovese for him and a white for me (it was good, but I admit I don't remember what it was) We can't wait to return to Bologna to eat here again I also recommended it to a couple of friends from Bologna who didn't know it

14/01/2025: There were 4 of us, unanimous opinion: refined place, with the right combination of quality and price. Excellent first courses, high quality second courses, very kind staff. I don't give 5 to the environmental context: the restaurant is located at the foot of a residential urban area, unsuitable for a restaurant of this standing.

05/01/2025: Rustic and simple but pleasant place. Excellent traditional dishes, abundant and well-seasoned first courses, tender and tasty second courses, friendly staff. During the truffle season there is a special menu.

14/01/2025: Unire l'informalità alla cura dei dettagli è decisamente una cosa per pochi eletti, e questo luogo ne è la positiva conferma. Il sorriso è una cosa che non manca dall'accesso all'uscita e si sposa perfettamente con i sapori del posto, che per quanto tradizionali, mostrano una sapienza negli accostamenti che è tutt'altro che scontata e banale. La qualità dei cibi è molto alta e nulla ha da invidiare a luoghi più blasonati. Assolutamente suggerito anzi, citando qualcuno del luogo direi "very nice".

01/01/2025: L’Osteria delle Sette Chiese è favolosa! L’ambiente è semplice e ospitale, quando entri sembra di stare in un’osteria negli anni ‘80. Il cibo è a dir poco squisito, piatti abbondanti e serviti con poco tempo d’attesa. Il personale è molto gentile, disponibile e sa metterti a tuo agio, il proprietario è molto simpatico e la cameriera molto dolce. Prezzo ottimo, abbiamo pagato davvero pochissimo. Sono molto contenta di aver scoperto quest’osteria inserita in un vicolo tranquillo. La consiglio caldamente perché davvero ne vale la pena!

30/12/2024: One of the few remaining trattorias offering authentic Bolognese cuisine, with excellent food quality and below-average prices. For around €30 you can eat 1 first course, 1 second course and 1 dessert. I highly recommend the balanzone (pasta filled with mordatella) as a first course and the tagliatelle with coarse salt and rosemary as a second course.

24/12/2024: Pure Bolognese cuisine. The swings are memorable. The fried courgettes are essential. Excellent gelding. The desserts are delicious. Noisy and a bit narrow but so typically Emilian that it's fine! Friendly staff. The only flaw: don't choose loose sparkling white wine. I should have gotten a bottle, not drinking red wine. My mistake: who drinks sparkling white wine with balanzoni and mutton??? Very low cost in proportion to the quality and size of the dishes. Watch out!!! If you have the starter buffet you will not be able to get the first and second course. Evaluate well!!!

17/11/2024: Good food, not all the dishes are abundant, such as lasagna considering the price or the starter, good tagliatelle, very good cut Cold environment, at least in the area where we were, waiter not very proactive, in some moments he almost seemed annoyed... for example he didn't offer us stuff off the menu but we heard it from other waitresses at other tables... barely enough, but maybe we had a bad day since we chose it based on the average reviews..

09/01/2025: There were no references for the restaurant, which was chosen on the GPS. And what a pleasant surprise. We had a memorable meal there. Of all the days we spent in the city, it was definitely the best restaurant experience. The food is worthy of the culinary fame that accompanies the city of Bologna. The service was very courteous and carried out with great care, despite the language barrier. I write this review after more than 8 years of our trip, planning a return to the city and, of course, to the restaurant.
