02/05/2026: Typical Abruzzo cuisine, authentic and truly homemade, just the way I like it. The menu is extensive and offers a wide selection of dishes. The staff is extremely kind and always available, as are the owners, who immediately made us feel at ease. We were traveling with three little girls, and despite a bit of confusion, they were extremely understanding and sweet with them—a kindness that truly makes a difference. The quality-price ratio is also excellent: finding side dishes for €3 is rare these days! Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.
02/04/2026: Overall, a decent experience, but with a few things to look at. The bread arrived practically at the end of the meal. I found the arrosticini to be rather bland and a bit undercooked, verging on rare; the same goes for the meat. I understand that some people prefer a lightly salted meal, but in that case, salt should be brought to the table. The owner (I think it was him) tried to crack a few jokes, but honestly, he wasn't particularly friendly.

21/03/2026: For a round of the Italian Enduro Championship, I stopped at this hotel for both the night and dinner. I have to say that looking at it from the outside, both because of its location and the surrounding buildings, I wasn't thrilled, but I hadn't booked it. So I walked in, and I have to say, right from the reception, I began to change my mind. The staff were friendly, welcoming, the furnishings simple but well-appointed, and the cleanliness was evident. The room was beautiful and very spacious, with fresh, timeless furnishings, and it was immediately apparent that it was immaculately clean. I went down to the restaurant, and here I said to myself, "Never let appearances fool you." It's truly beautiful, with beautiful, high wooden ceilings, well-set tables, and above all, kind, smiling, and competent service. I'll save dinner for last, which I have to say was the icing on the cake. Everything was well-made and of excellent quality. What can I say? I recommend it, and if I'm in the area again, I'll be back.
18/03/2026: Dad Claudio (known as Lallo) is an extremely kind and friendly person. He engages in a courteous and discreet conversation with his guests. From our point of view, it's not just formality or work-related reasons, but rather a genuinely cordial attitude. He doesn't treat you just as a "customer," but as someone to be put at ease. He makes you feel like part of the family. And I'd say that given our hectic lifestyle, with human relationships reduced to a minimum, this kind of behavior is good for both the individual and the heart, especially when, even on a pleasure trip, you're far from home and your loved ones. That said, after our first stay at the Hotel Le Sequoie, we had an excellent time and, as a logical consequence, we've stayed at least five more times... and they won't be the last, at least in the winter. Although, to be honest, the two pools are tempting us for when the warmer weather arrives. A truly unique experience, having stayed at many hotels in Italy (sometimes very renowned), thus having a very valid and reliable basis for comparison. We once again extend our heartfelt thanks to Emiliano, Silvia, and their father Claudio (known as Lallo) for all they do with professionalism and love. Nunzia and Massimo.

05/05/2026: We had dinner at Locanda Tre Frati and the experience was truly excellent. The atmosphere is one of its strong points: a warm, refined setting with an authentic charm, perfect for a relaxing dinner in a characteristic setting. You immediately sense the attention to detail and the restaurant's beautiful identity. The cuisine was a real surprise: typical Abruzzo dishes prepared with great care, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the respect for tradition, but with a refined presentation that makes all the difference. The portions were adequate and satisfying. The wine selection was also excellent, pairing well with the dishes and featuring very interesting local specialties. The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, helpful, and professional, always present but never intrusive, exactly as they should be.

13/06/2026: Typical dishes, quality ingredients, and excellent prices. Pecorara pasta is one of the reasons I come to Giulianova at least once a year. Their version of pallotte is even better than the original. Plus, an extraordinary friendliness permeates everything. Highly recommended! PS: Exceptional appetizers!

Unfortunately, they had a technical issue that wasn't the restaurant's fault, but I really appreciated being notified before we even entered. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The dinner was delicious. I've read reviews that I'm sorry they can't respond to, but were we at the same restaurant? Anyone who speaks poorly of the food quality is probably used to McDonald's. There's nothing negative to say here, and ask for the arrosticini! They melt in your mouth. I recommend every dish I ordered. I'll definitely be back.

26/05/2026: La Taverna del Priore, From Lead to the Gold of Flavors... There are places where you eat. And then there are places where, almost without realizing it, you are welcomed. La Taverna del Priore didn't seem like just a dinner, but a small journey: a slow journey from lead to gold, where lead is the traveler's hunger and gold is that rare sense of fullness that lingers even after dessert. We begin with appetizers that seem to recount the region without haste: small, carefully selected samples, tradition, textures, memories. From the creamy gratin to the more rustic flavors, to the notes of home cooking that still knows how to speak without the need for special effects. The first course arrives as a well-found balance: generous pasta, flavors that don't shout but make themselves heard. A cuisine that seems to say: "Relax, sit down. Here we really eat." Then the meat. The real thing. The kind that doesn't need masks. 28/04/2026: Knowing you'll eat well and be greeted with kindness isn't always a given. Here, the combination of good quality and traditional food is perfect. Chicken livers and Ascoli olives are highly recommended.

01/06/2026: A typical restaurant with a warm welcome from the very friendly owner. The food is all very good, especially the fresh pasta, all made to order. However, the prices are high in our opinion for first courses (taglierini with cacio e tartufo, practically without truffle, for €20).

12/03/2026: I was in Sulmona a few days ago with my family and accidentally discovered this small but magnificent restaurant. The open kitchen is already a great calling card. We ordered everything from appetizers to dessert, and everything was delicious. The dishes were generous and beautifully cooked, each perfectly balanced and an explosion of flavors in your mouth. The service was impeccable, prompt and attentive to our requests. The atmosphere was very welcoming and refined. Finally, I would like to personally thank the entire staff for the care and kindness they showed my daughter, without even charging me for the dish they prepared for her that wasn't on the menu because, for health reasons, she couldn't eat anything else. Thank you so much, and it was a pleasure meeting you...see you next time.
