12/11/2023: Ho pernottato per una notte con la mia famiglia: l'acqua calda non c' era, camera gelata senza termosifoni,nel bagno non c'era sapone,la coperta del letto era rotta,mancava il phon per asciugare i capelli, arredamento anni 70/80,il letto matrimoniale era formato da 2 letti singoli,per ultimo la signora per colazione ha portato il contrario di quanto richiesto

05/08/2023: Questo posto è da evitare. Il luogo è squallido, situato accanto a un distributore di carburante. Il cibo è di bassissima qualità e non rappresenta affatto la cultura cilentana. Pessimibi ravioli ai funghi con il ripieno di ricotta acida. Il locale era assordante pieno di persone che parlano ad alta voce per superare il rumore di due televisori accesi e di un cantante con le basi. Serata da dimenticare

07/08/2023: This restaurant is in a spectacular location with an amazing view. They actually sent a water taxi for us (free) to/from the Positano main beach as it is hard to access via foot. We were so excited to arrive and take in the experience; however, as soon as the boat pulled up our waiter who greeted us seemed aloof and cold (Fransisco). The rest of the staff was superb - the water taxi captain was so nice, and the accompanying wait staff seemed caring, but this experience with Francisco was very off-putting and felt paticularly aimed at us as we were a group of gay friends traveling together. We noticed it right from the start - he seemed annoyed at requests to see the wine list (and tried to push wines not on the menu with no apparent price tag) and repeatedly mentioned wines we selected were "out" but that he could offer something comparable (that were much poorer quality/priced wines). Our waters sat empty the entire time and we had to ask for more (they were in a wine bucket) with him not even bothering to ever check in on us or see how we were doing. He completely forgot our friend's main course and didn't seem to care when our friend sat waiting to eat while we all were served - we finally had to flag him down and when we did he seem perplexed about the dish and it seemed clear he forgot about it and then seemed annoyed and said "it's coming". 25 minutes later after we were all finished our friend's dish came with not one word of apology or care from him. It also seemed that the other waiters could tell he was treating us differently as they seemed to step in at a few points to try and be helpful. We wondered at first if his cold demeanor and flippant, uncaring attitude were just part of his personality; however, we began to watch him interact with other tables around us with him smiling and laughing with them (also English-speakers) and him offering to take pictures, being the utmost of attentive to them in terms of serving water and wine, and him seeming to be constantly checking in with them. It seemed clear to us that he was annoyed at having to serve us and he made no apologies even after leaving us sitting without water, not serving wine or checking in when we were empty, not checking in otherwise, and him forgetting our friend's dish. We asked for the bill several times and he seemed to ignore us when we finally had to go to the host stand to ask for it. It's sad because the food was quite good overall, and the other staff were very friendly and nice, not to mention it being an exceptional and exclusive view. However, his service left us with a terrible experience of the place and really made us feel badly about being treated how we were. What's more, it really concerned us for the restaurant as we had eaten earlier in the week at their Michelin-starred restaurant, La Serra, which was OUTSTANDING and treated us very well. The restaurant would be smart to let this server go and train its staff on diversity and how to treat diverse guests (ensuring everyone is treated with respect and warmth). We recommend steering clear of this place until it is addressed.

17/07/2023: Impossible to find. No signs to the restaurant. Staff is nice but untrained. Quality of service does not justify the price.

01/08/2023: Splendida esperienza, nel ristorante dell'hotel Botanico, con salita in funicolare panoramica privata da Maiori al ristorante. Ottimo servizio e ottimi piatti. Panorama mozzafiato e cucina espressa preparata al momento. Ineccepibile. Elevata la qualità delle etichette nella carta dei vini e possibilità di mescita a calice.

17/01/2024: Andando a Vietri ho scelto personalmente questo "ristorante" (non dando ascolto a mia moglie). Devo dire purtroppo di aver sbagliato. Capisco che siamo a Vietri, capisco il posto, ecc. Capisco tutto ma é giusto anche che chi si fa pagare profumatamente per cibo che dovrebbe essere un minimo gradevole, capisca il cliente che lasci tali recensioni. - Antipasto di mare... Vedasi foto. Sembrava quello del supermercato a 4€ da 500 gr in vaschetta di plastica, dal sapore tra l'olio di girasole e l'aceto. Il classico "cocktail" per aperitivi - Gnocchi alla sorrentina. Cercate in google immagini "gnocchi alla sorrentina" e guardate cosa ci hanno servito. Semplici gnocchi in una zuppa di salsa, senza mozzarella, senza che siano stati essere stati gratinati. Più che gnocchi alla sorrentina, gnocchi in un poltiglia di salsa. Piatto che di "sorrentino" aveva solo il nome. - Frittura di pesce. Ho dimenticato di fare la foto. Discreta. 5 anelli di calamari e 5 gamberetti "anziani" (capisce a'mme), messi su qualche foglia d'insalata (fa scena). - Unica cosa apprezzabile, la sfogliatella. Comprensibile tutto ciò con lo straniero (ed é da vedere quanto sia comprensibile.... ) ma non con chi vive a pochi passi da voi. Ho pagato 100€ precisi per 2 persone, ma il servizio offerto era scadente. Buon locale per una birra in estate, ma il resto lascia il tempo che trova. Rapporto qualità/prezzo deludente.
