30/11/2024: We stopped by chance on our way back to Rome, as soon as we arrived they welcomed us divinely with a local ricotta, we ordered: sublime bruschetta, exceptional scialatiello and to finish a tart with ricotta and chocolate while still warm DIVINE, very kind gentleman, thank you!

31/12/2024: A SEA GEM I don't live in Caserta, but three times a year it is a must for me to delight my palate and eyes in this culinary jewel that I have defined as "A TRUE GEM" especially for fish lovers. Very varied and always innovative menu. Dishes with fresh fish that delight the palate and make you feel as if you were by the sea. Elegant environment, EXCELLENT welcome. Mr. Rosario and all the staff exude a positive energy in hospitality right from the start, a power both in hospitality and in recommending courses with the relevant wine pairing. A big applause also goes to the kitchen team. A dish that I missed tasting was the potato chips. I won't reveal the contents of the dish, because they absolutely must EAT. I conclude by saying that it is truly a culinary experience that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to eat well. Unquestionable price quality. 26/08/2024: Exceptional is an understatement for this pizzeria that knows how to treat customers in the best possible way. Starting from the exceptional appetizers (omelette and crocchè) and ending with the pizzas which were exquisite. But the real surprise was when we ordered two pizzas, one of which arrived a little later than the other and the waiters replaced the pizza that arrived first with another one that was the same but freshly cooked together with the second one. There may have been an error in calculating the times but it was a pleasure to be treated with so much attention. Congratulations to all the smart and super friendly staff.

22/12/2024: Last week I celebrated my graduation. It was an intimate dinner, with few guests and the attention to detail was IMPECCABLE, all the staff are at your disposal and make you feel pampered and loved, as well as at home. Fabulous location, impeccable setting and exquisite dishes. The only flaw that made all the guests turn up their noses a bit was the speed of the service, one course after another literally non-stop. At one point I felt bad about the speed with which I was eating, I went out for 10 minutes to recover and when I came back I discovered that they had brought the cake to the table and offered the bitters. As a birthday girl, I didn't even see the cake (the edible one) because in those 10 minutes they had both brought it to the table and taken it away (so I didn't really eat it). At the end of the evening, the manager told us to take it home but the head nurse told us that it was no longer there (they had probably already thrown it away) - it was probably a misunderstanding on our part because we thought he meant the edible one . Would I go back? Definitely but as long as they give me time to enjoy the dishes. All in all, apart from this small flaw, it was a beautiful evening and many guests were fascinated by it.

23/12/2024: Chef Angelo and his family gave life to an extraordinary idea in the heart of the historic center of Vairano Patenora: transforming the house they were renovating for themselves into a welcoming home restaurant. The experience begins right from the booking, when Angelo guides you in choosing the menu with great attention to personal tastes, any allergies and budget. You can opt to give him carte blanche or make specific requests. We chose to rely completely on him, and the result was impeccable. Upon arrival, Angelo and his family welcome guests warmly. His wife showed us the house, renovated with taste and creativity, where each room hosts a table, creating an intimate and unique atmosphere. Particularly evocative are a room dedicated to children and, above all, a splendid terrace overlooking the Vairano Patenora castle, perfect for summer dinners. Angelo's menu is a perfect balance between local tradition and innovation. We started with a beef tartare and Annurche apples seasoned with anchovy sauce, followed by pork belly with courgettes and black rice chips. Then, an original buttoned pepper, where the classic bread cap has been transformed into a fried breadcrumb that envelops the pepper, making it a crunchy and tasty croquette. To close the appetizers, a chickpea soup with fried pork rind, perfectly vaporous thanks to the puffing. As a first course, ravioli filled with ricotta and lemon, embellished with truffles, followed by a second course of cuts made with the highest quality local beef. To conclude, a fresh and delicious mandarin panna cotta. Ultimately, a unique experience, tailor-made for guests, which mixes hospitality, culinary excellence and love for the territory. I wish Angelo and his family the best: their determination and courage to invest in the historic center of Vairano Patenora deserve admiration. I hope others look to them as an example and can start business ventures to revive our wonderful country.

21/12/2024: Location very attentive to detail, although it may seem a little rustic and in some ways also very romantic, then during the Christmas period it becomes even more welcoming. Menu with few but very characteristic courses, fantastic desserts. The only sore point is that the heating in the main room is not sufficient as the rooms are very large and above all high, so I believe that an enhanced heating system is necessary. However, in my opinion it is still a very welcoming place and a successful business. very carefully.
