26/04/2026: It's a long-standing tradition in Benevento. Who doesn't know "Zi Rosa" pizza and its specialties, like the potato pizza? For some time now, they've also had an electric oven for round pizzas, which are also excellent. The pizza's value for money is excellent. The owners and staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Always very busy.

28/12/2025: We ordered about 16 pieces of pizza at 5 PM for the evening. It was clear from the order that the person who answered the phone was mismanaging both the order and the delivery time. At 8:15 PM, we went to pick up the pizza and waited about an hour and a half among people who, like us, were there waiting to be served. After 1.5 hours, we took home a pan of burnt Margherita pizza and a cold pan of mixed Margherita and potatoes. Look elsewhere if you want pizza for dinner, and I ask you at the pizzeria to be respectful of your customers.

01/05/2026: Simply a fantastic experience! La Taverna di Giulio is one of those places that wins you over from the first moment: a warm, welcoming, and authentic atmosphere. The staff was impeccable, always smiling, attentive, and helpful. We felt truly pampered throughout the meal. The food was exceptional: dishes rich in flavor, prepared with the freshest ingredients and great care. Every course was delicious, but special praise goes to all the appetizer courses—they're a must-try! The value for money is also excellent, more than fair for what's on offer. Highly recommended! 11/01/2026: We had reserved a table an hour in advance, but when we arrived, the reservation wasn't there. We were offered a seat in a freezing cold room, which we declined, waiting for another table to become available. Once we were finally seated, they opened the door to the cold room, immediately lowering the temperature in the room we were in as well, making the experience truly unpleasant. To make matters worse, the waiters were arrogant and unprofessional, with no attention to the customer. A bad experience! The pizza is always good!

03/01/2026: I've been there twice (invited). The pizza was outrageous both times (I don't care about the price). The schnitzel was ridiculous. The fries were pathetic. If I'm not mistaken, some of the fried foods were frozen. The service was average. The place was good.

17/08/2025: On the occasion of San Rocco we decided to get a sandwich, 3 hours of waiting for a sandwich with cold sausage, horrible pizza, chips never arrived, if you can't manage don't put so many tables and the most petty thing you can do in the restaurant business is to only satisfy the villagers who went to collect the dishes even in the kitchen, and their excuse "we don't arrive" the problem is yours not mine who pays you …….

13/07/2025: Amazed… We're from Naples but have a house in Guardia Sanframondi, and during the "Sannio Tra Sapori e Folklore" festival, where over 40 Pro Loco organizations from the Sannio region were present, we decided to stop by. After a look, we noticed that the festival menu didn't include what we wanted, so we opted to have a pizza to our liking at this place. As soon as we arrived, Mr. Paolo called the staff to help us get settled, and the very friendly and courteous waiter showed us where we were and took our order. We asked for a fried pizza (calzone) and a plain pizza with ham and mushrooms. The fried pizza was divine and was definitely cooked in very clean oil, because instead of smelling of fried food, it smelled of fresh oil, and it was just the right amount of golden brown, not burnt brown. The other pizza was excellent, with plenty of exceptional and flavorful fior di latte. With two draft beers, one 0.20 and one 0.30, we spent €16.00. We were shocked because we would certainly have paid over €20 elsewhere, but we recommend putting at least a paper tablecloth on the table and charging for service. There were two bathrooms, both spotlessly clean. The restaurant has an indoor dining room next to the bar, an indoor patio with plenty of tables, and an outdoor space on the sidewalk. It also serves grilled meats and rotisserie. Paolo told us he's a former rugby player; in fact, the walls of the indoor dining room are decorated with hundreds of photos of his playing days and memories of a friend of his who passed away. Highly recommended.

23/02/2026: I had the pleasure of visiting this place. I found it very satisfying, with a warm welcome and truly exquisite cuisine. I immediately noticed the effort, dedication, and meticulous care they put into each dish. The space is very spacious and unique in every way. The old carriages are a truly unique place that exudes a strong identity. I highly recommend everyone to visit at least once, as it's absolutely worth it.

29/03/2026: Along the road from Avellino to Benevento lies Spatenhaus, a pizzeria and pub. The restaurant is spacious, with tables spread across two levels, and there's also a furnished patio outside for warmer weather. The cuisine is rich in variety, from appetizers to sandwiches and pizzas, all made with quality ingredients. The fried foods and bruschetta are excellent, especially the ones with 'nduja and onions. The pizzas are tasty and generous with toppings. The wait staff are friendly, and the bill is absolutely in line with the service provided.

The food is truly delicious, both the pizza and the sandwiches, made with quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive to customer needs. Excellent value. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

08/03/2026: Disappointing experience, the owner was arrogant and rude. After having seated me at a table for six people, he made me get up because the other five people were not yet present. This place is to be avoided.

31/03/2026: We dropped in for lunch and despite the fact that it was booked out by a local community on Palm Sunday, they found a table for 2 of us and looked after us really well Pizza was awesome. Prices were too. I'd love to go back here.
